Will It Ever End? I Think Not!
November 26, 2009 by Brown Shuga
To be quite honest, I’m not yet tired of it shem.
Some holier-than-thou Americans are fuming that ABC show, Good Morning America is airing an interview with Chris Brown to give him a chance to respond to the Rihanna Interview. Like really now, wtf?
So it’s okay for Rihanna to do a “Tell All Interview” telling the world how Chris had no soul but it’s not okay for him to state his side of the story? What kind of twisted sh!t is that?
Just because Chris was convicted (after pleading guilty nogal) he is not worthy of being treated like a human being?
First of all, yes I am mad at what he did! Especially the biting part, that was just too horrible & shows that something is seriously wrong with the boy.
He admitted he made a terrible mistake and has since apologised. COUNTLESS times.
So far all we have heard from him is one apology after the other. He hasn’t told us what happened to make him react in that way.
Yes Rihanna saw a text message on his phone, so what was her reaction?
Did she beat him first?
Was this something she usually did? To hit him?
What is it that led him to react THAT violent?
Until I find out, I’m NOT assuming that Rihanna is an an innocent victim in all of this. Yes, she was a victim and like any living person (I guess nezidumbu) did not deserve it but I’m referring to whether or not she was an “innocent” victim. If you shoot someone in self defence, that person is a victim but not an innocent victim. At least that’s how it is in my book.
I agree with the world, no amount of provocation will ever justify beating up a woman (or a man) the way that boy beat Rihanna.

I’m sure Chris agrees with us and that is why he is paying for what he did and receiving counselling.
He is going through a rehabilitation program but the holy people of this world have already written him off as someone who will never change. How do “you” know he won’t?
My questions to these respectable holy beings (who seem to be higher than the court that sentenced Chris Brown) are:
- Are you saying we shouldn’t have prisons on earth?
- That all those convicted of serious crimes (like this one) should be put on death penalty because we “think” they will NEVER change?
- You don’t believe in the concept of rehabilitation?
- What is it that must happen to Chris Brown for you to get over this?
I mean really now, it’s not like people HAVE to pay for him to be on GMA & neither do they HAVE to watch the damn interview!
What fuels my doubts about Rihanna’s “complete” sincerity & “doing it for the girls” *said in my heaviest accent* is the fact she is only getting vocal (make that very vocal) about this NOW. When her album drops. In a way, to “make money” out of this traumatic experience that is SO painful to talk about.
They are both using that February 18 incident to push album sales, damn even their music is about it! Are they serious??
Please do not blame me for starting to believe ukuthi :
- this whole thing was orchestrated,
- that beat-up Riri pic was not real and
- Chris Brown and Rihanna are actually busy shooting a first ever reality movie where the whole world is part of the cast.
I’m just saying!

It wont stop while the media can still get a buck of it and 4 some it helps improve their TV rating. The showbiz industry is the harshest, 80% of the ppl enter as angels and later turn into monsters. I also dont agree with wat Breezy did (i’ve neva laid my hand on a woman, but it was a mistake, he apologised, he’s young and deserves a second chance. I’m buying Graffiti whether good or bad, I woudnt keep R-RATED even if its a Christmas present. Why? Coz Chris is an Artist and Rhi is a cash-COW, lol.
lwandie on Fri, 27th Nov 2009 3:55 am
I do not condone violence either, but I’m rather tired of celebs timing their “reveal all” interviews in line with their latest release or big come back etc.Rhianna is just joining a long list of the likes of Robbie Williams,Whitney Huston etc. Unfortunately the U.S. is so much about branding, and right now Brand Rhianna seems to be the blue eyed one.The refusal to give Chris Brown a chance to balance the story is more likely to do with the need to mantain Rhianna’s “victim” image and nothing to do with a genuine concern on violence.I’m sure there is a whole lot more to their story but I doubt Chris will win this one {lol what with o bra Jzee, nabo Diddy on Rhirrie’s corner…wathint’ abangathintwayo mfana!!}. The boy has done all he can humanly possibly do to rectify his mistakes,I just think the world needs to move on and let this talented youngie create his music, worse crimes have been commited before and people have been allowed to bounce back.Who didn’t know the physical bashings Robin Givens was enduring with Mike Tyson…most of them very public, but because he was still relevent and winning titles then,it was played down, until uDarkie went broke. If I was Chris I would not even bother trying to put out my side of the story right now.Just make your music man, some day you can write about it all in your memoirs!

I hate that i find myself watching and reading about this children’s escapedes.
But, i applaud Chris beacause in all his interviews he only constantly apologised, told of what he is doing and said what you are suggesting lwandie. Whixh is that he is going to respect Rhi and not talk about their private issues, rather he just wants to focus on his music.
And that they are complaining about the boy’s posture when he is interviewed just boggled my mind. What is he supposed to do,act sombre all the time? to show how remorsefull he is?,in which case they’ll say he is ingenuine or something else.
Big ups to people that are supporting him on his rehab efforts from this whole thing. And his talent wil hopefully redeem him. I so hope he will continue to insist on keeping their private issues private and not vilify Rhi like she and the public did him, i have hope from what i have heard him say so far (hope he doesnt dissapoint),especially if people with some kind intergrity like Will Smith have been giving him support like he says
.
Im tempted to start bashing Rhi and her R rated what whats, but i will leave it here.

BS…i am suprised at your take on this maybe its because I grew up witnessing these kind of things and I know what kind of damage they can do…while I agree with you on the part about album promo AND Rihanna interview..(and dont forget Chris also used the incident to promote his own upcoming cd thru tweets..but time will tell if that stunt will wokr)
the part about this being orchestrated..(one involving Oprah.nogal!!)now THAT is far fetched…but you are allowed to have your own theories..LOL
the part about it beig a reality show..well the media turned it into a reality show anyways…but I doubt that was their intention…
the part about the pic not being real..well she recenlty expressed her shock at how someone whom she trusted relesed the pic and that (apparently..though i doubt it) is the reason why she kept quite for some time coz the pic was being flashed all over and it was humiliating for her…
Having said that ..i donno if you read the Diane Sawyer interview where she explained in detail WHT happend..
The 21-year-old star acknowledged that Brown held her in a headlock twice that night and bit her on the ear and fingers. She told Sawyer that she did not try to fight back.
“I just wanted it to stop. I was not interested in hurting him back,” she saidIt seems the past rumors about the text message are true. After Rihanna and Chris got into his car after the Grammy party, Rihanna discovered a text message from another woman. When she asked Chris about it, he denied doing anything wrong. Rihanna pressed the issue and the argument escalated into a physical confrontation. Rihanna said, “It was ugly.”
Chris Brown hit her so hard that Rihanna had blood in her mouth. She told Diane Sawyer that she thought to herself, “When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop?” Of the assault, Rihanna said, “There was no person when I looked at him. I was battered, I was bleeding, I was swollen in my face.”
Rihanna also said that Chris threatened to kill her for phoning her assistant. She said she knew he wouldn’t but he was trying to keep her quiet.Rihanna gave details of the assault saying:“I fended him off with my feet from one … side of the car, but … it was not like, it was not like a fight with each other. I just … I really just wanted it to stop…I was bleeding. I was swollen in my face. So there was no way of me getting home, except for, my next option was to get out of the car and walk. Start walking in a gown, in a bloody face. So I really don’t know what my plan was. I didn’t have a plan. That whole night was not part of my plan.”
AND ..call me ubanana or a wimp but just because you have a tantrum throwing bitchy screaming girlfriend who’s ready to pounce on you DOES NOT give you the rite to HIT her..just take a walk, or just go away..and if THAT is what pushed him well he could have just SAID IT OUT LOUD during HIS interview instead of mumbling incoherently…
BY THE WAY I’M NOT A RIHANNA FAN..IN FACT I’M LIKING CHRIS’S NEW SONGS RITE NOW..i THINK IT WILL BE SAD IF PEOPLE ONT BUY HIS CD COZ IT MITE ACTUALLY BE BETTA THAN THE CRAP SHE RELEASED RECENTLY…

Hey Sponono! I did watch Rihanna’s Dianne Sawyer interview. I even posted it here.
http://www.justcurious.co.za/2009/11/transcript-of-rihannas-abc-interview/
About what Chris should have said in his interview, if you watch/read/listen to his previous interviews, he didn’t go into details about what he did to Riri nor what she did to him.
After the Riri’s interview he expressed his disappointment at her having spoken about the details of that night coz he said it should have been a private matter. Which brings me to my next question….
If he thought she was wrong for talking about it, why is he now doing a “Tell All” interview responding to that “private” matter??? Arrrggg, these kids are playing us!
kwa kwa kwa kwa @ Bongza not keeping the Christmas present! lol I’m not buying it either! But I absolutely love her style, she rocks!
100% agree with you GA, spot on!
Lwandie, the other thing Chris should stop, is tweeting! lol
Vesa on Fri, 27th Nov 2009 9:36 am
Not condoning anything Chris did, but there are gaps in Rhihanna’s story! Remember that these people were in the car and Chris driving when this whole thing started. And for some reason, Rhihanna just chose to skip some parts as to how it all escalated and decided to fast forward to the actual fight.
Moving along, I hear her cd sales are doing badly…..even after the price slash.
sponono on Fri, 27th Nov 2009 10:58 am
well no matta what she did…he shouldnt have hit her like THAT..neeways..apparently Chris will be doing ANATHOR tell all interview about the incident…(apparently she threw him under the bus at some point.and he’s gonna talk about THAT..LOL…uyi-Bruino langempela uRihanna
Vesa..considering the other releases that co-incided with hers (susan boyle, adam lambert, john meyer, gaga..those are IT artists rite now even Beyonce would not have made it) so its no wonder her cd wont do as well as it could have..she’s expected to debut at number 3 if not four..and that is NOT bad these days..in fact its a feat….but the CD is CRAPPY
I will be buying CHRIS “Beat them up” Brown…I’m loving that CRAWL song
other cd’s y’all betta look out for in teh near months..(SADE, Toni Braxton, Alicia Mkhize)

Brown sugar..now this brings out the LOLs…you see mina being a muntu I read it somewhere and didnt get it coz my bantu Englrish left me …she didnt throw him practically…they meant Rihanna threw him under the bus as in she made him a sacrificial lamb-she betrayed him- to loog good during interviews,..ROTFLOL…sengize ngambiza ngekhaladi ngoba ngithi wamfaka phansi kwebhasi kwangempela…..LOL

Lol, I knew this story would eventually end up here. Nami I’m just tired of these two now… The timing of all these interviews have been nothing but strategic, especially on RiRi’s part. Don’t get me wrong, X was dead-wrong for doing what he did but he got punished for it and apologised. I’m 100% sure that these people who are calling a full X boycott have fraudsters, murderers, rapists, bank-robbers etc in their families and have forgiven them for all their wrongs but when it comes to X everything must be to the extreme?? Please, I’m too damn tired of these hypocrites.
What makes me laughs even harder is what RiRi’s camp did. I mean, cutting an ALBUM, not a single, an album to 0.99c is beyond ridiculous. I guess they saw that the ‘sympathy card’ wasn’t being drawn in their favour. (Oh, I know it was Thanks Giving week and they have CRAZY sales but still, that’s pathetic).
I will not lie, I have been a fan of RiRi since she came out (but I didn’t think she’d last) and have all her albums… I actually love this one. I tried to block out everything that has happened and just listen to the music. Creatively, I will not lie, homegirl has grown… Too bad she is flopping in all the major markets -sigh-. Can’t wait to hear Chris’ album… Thnx for bringing this up, lol

theres a song i bumped into on u-tube By CB its called “changed man”..if a man beat me up and dedicated me that song..id forgive him..LOL..and Ri-ri has somthing like “slower to heal”..these 2 are just conversating on our time and money when we but their music to hear who is saying what to who!!nna ba a ntena!!Straight!!!i wana move on..
