Mamadou: My AFCON Highlight!
January 29, 2010 by Brown Shuga
Tjo, finally the African Cup of Nations is coming to an end. I’m sad that I didn’t get to watch most of the games. I did manage to catch a few radio chats about the tournament and I have to say, my highlight of this 2010 AFCON was definitely Mamadou Gaye, the Soccer Analyst

Mamadou is the only thing I will miss about this tournament shem. His outrageous comments, his bias, his excuses, you can’t help but love this guy. He was talking about how Ivory Coast (his home buddies) would win the tournament but the minute they got kicked out, he started complaining about the tournament being CAF’s money making scheme and that the players are tired and shouldn’t be required to do AFCON every two years. LOL.
Here is what BBK had to say about him:
“Make of him what you will, but he has positioned himself as the stirrer of the African soccer pot. He provokes extreme emotions of love and hate in equal measure. Some sensitive people have threatened to rearrange his physical appearance in some form of human panel-beating should they bump into him.” Read more HERE.
Just wanted to say I LOVE YOU MAMADOU, you’re my MAN OF THE MOMENT!
Oh, and good luck to Ghana on the final against Egypt. Frankly, I’m sick and tired of Egypt and their AFCON dominance. Phansi nge Egypt, phansi!

I find it rather funny that Egypt participate in the AFCON but the Egyptians in general regard themselves as Middle Easterns…#justsaying

@BS>
I think you put in the wrong link
I absolutely love Mamadou. He is not afraid to speak his mind and not afraid to speak the truth….

I love Egypt….they have been consistent throughout this Afcon. I pray Ghana wins though
The most boring thing about this year’s Afcon is that the big guns like Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Nigeria dissappointed badly and that is why Egypt is dominating.
Ghana is not convincing as well.

I have already made my predictions on supersport website…..Ghana 1 and Egypt 3.
As for Mamadou I just love this guy, he speaks his minds and 9ja’s don’t like him. I enjoy his analysis and always makes me laugh.
