Vodacom bathong!
February 6, 2010 by Brown Shuga

Is Vodacom bored? What’s this about a R2 airtime voucher bathong? Really?
Maybe I’m missing the point, anyone who understands why they would have a R2 voucher? O founela mang ka R2? Or is it so you can send 6 off peak text messages?
Tjo! I don’t get it.

Kwakwakwakwa my service provider mara hayi bayahlanya grand. I mean how many calls one can make with a R2 airtime come on Vodacom even if you are attracting consumers hayi ngolohlobo lol. Ungathi ngoku this R5 one is a waste of time and money coz you end up buying airtime after every 30 minutes, hayikhona Vodacom ningazodlala ngathi bantu. Or maybe they are doing it for that night shift thing I’ve never done since it requires a person to at least have airtime to do it.

Voda is clearly targetting the young ones with this R2 thingy. Those kids can mixit for days on end with R2 so this is good news for them and i guess Voda saw that as easier and convenient for the kids to get R2 instead of R29 from umkhero wabo or from mom and when u add up al those R2 sales it equals great profit for them and this is what we cal looking at the bigger picture.

Ntonto you making sense.. totally get it now.

Kem Moc, I was also going to say the same thing. Vodacom is taking the business away from all public phones. Instead of going to the container, all vodacom subscribers will soma buy R2 airtime.
And dont forget the MXIT addicts “students”..
khafo on Mon, 8th Feb 2010 9:53 am

Music to my ears….this is convinient for mxit and facebook user like me. Some of us cannot afford to buy even the R5 airtime.

Two rand coins are disappearing in the house…
Monchooza on Tue, 9th Feb 2010 3:55 pm
I guess Voda had to take to R2 ngoba even though they have R5 airtime..i still get a million call backs in a week, maybe azohafuka manje….and maybe they must now consider charging for ama call backs too

R2 airtime, jeez, do people actually find that useful? I cant understand the reasoning behind such a small amount.
