Africa Fashion Week is Back!
April 22, 2010 by Brown Shuga
If you love Fashion then diarise 30 June – 03 July 2010! 4 days, 19 runway shows by 33 of Africa’s hottest designers!
This is the 2nd annual Africa Fashion Week and it sounds like it’s going to be hott because they are also launching the African Fashion International Boutique, which means that the collections we see on the runway will also be available for purchase on site. The boutique will be launched online, as a shop where you can buy African Fashion from across the globe. I’m not a fashionista but this sounds like great news.
I’m looking forward to the AFI African Fashion Awards that will be held on 5 July 2010 and I hope there will be another international artist perfoming (not Kelly Rowland or John Legend please, sebeyangibora). I missed last year’s awards coz I chose to go to Bafana vs Spain in Bloemfontein (Confed cup) instead… well, I am NOT missing this one and there are NO World Cup games playing on the day (talk about great planning) and considering that Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe is behind this, I’m sure there’ll be lots of super important people there and of course a slight chance of bumping into HIM.
I don’t speak Fashion that well so check out . www.africanfashioninternational.com for more information.

It really is gonna be hot. We’re trying to grow it from what we presented last year. Tickets are only R150 per show and trust me, they’ll be the most coveted.
Brown Shuga on Sat, 24th Apr 2010 2:48 pm
Are you guys going to invite Victoria Beckham & Alex Gerard? Seeing they’ll be in the country…
Keketso on Sun, 25th Apr 2010 4:39 am

soul sista on Sun, 25th Apr 2010 9:07 am
Bathong since you are the one who has observed this why do you want other people to tell her? Do the right thing and tell her yourself, you sound so concerned.
