Mo Flava: Yay or Nay?

So we all (well, some of us) heard Mo Flava’s first showas a Breakfast host yesterday, ummm….so what did you think?

Do you miss DJ Sbu already on YFM breakfast or are you happy with the new host?

Hayi mina I tuned out halfway through it and promised myself that I’ll listen properly next week.

I don’t like forming an opinion when they’re just starting and are on that “we are not apologetic for doing this, if you have problem with us doing this” tip (which he was on yesterday) so I will listen next week when he’s just concentrating on doing the show and not other things.

I’ve always been a fair of his voice and his interviews but as for whether he will make me ditch old man John Robbie?  We’ll find out soon…

    Sweet Ash udume ngobayi Dj ku YFM kwaye uyi presenter pha kula Harambe udlala ku SABC1 ngoLwesine ngo 19:00pm. Mna I liked uThomas on 5FM with that gal uDudu even though I could feel that they’re not used to each now but I feel like that show is going to be a nice show to listen to and I like the sports guy too, Darren. Dudu sounds like a perfect match with Thomas (no pun intended). I wanted to comment too y’know, since I can’t tune into Y. :-)

    Pity, am no longer target market 4 Y…to think i used to listen to Y so religiously not so long ago. That was until DJ Sbu started to make the breakfast show 2 b about him and TS Records..and too pompous 4 ma liking .. I like mo flava’s voice am sho he’s gonna do justice to the breakfast slot, esp wif his producer Tseko or suthing.

    I stopped listening to Yfm the day Rudeboy hung up the mic so its a NAY frm me and will remain that until he moves to 5fm or 94.7 where i can listen without any embarrassment..Y is a complete waste of resorces.

    yo Mo…im listening to him now they are praying for Jub Jub.(it a joke for them)..the thing about Mo is that o buwa feela…wa phasoloha(all sotho’s will know what that means) Gosh they gonna fire him and much hatred is coming his way…I hear i fear for his sake…he must call himself in order…serious ….else…mmmm

    Mo o a bora PERIOD. He is arrogant and the only thing keeping him on Y is his ‘voice’ which is nothing to call home about. I tried listening this morning and just tuned out after 5 minutes…

    i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MO…. pitty i didnt even know he is moving to breakfast… yes he is arrogant but wasnt sbu just as arrogant?? i love him Sbu’s voice irritated me i felt like i needed a cloth to wipe mathe a hae off my face…. GOOD RIDDENS SBU, i wont complain if i dont hear from him again!!!

    I actually liked today’s show, especially the ‘letter to the judge by jubie’ However I dont think he handle the situation with that lady who was against the entire prayer thing properly, he got waay too emotional. But its a YAY for me, I like them arrogant, le sbu o arrogant nje..

    Lets give him 2 or 3 weeks to see which direction the show is taking then we can vote yay or nay coz at the moment basaqhosha about getting the bfast slot …… Thomas is gonna kick serious ass on 5fm …. why is Lupi on bfast is Thato gone? ….

    Mo is the future, he is good. Guys this is a breakfast show we need confidence in the morning, i dont want a person with no balls in the morning as for that lady who called against the prayer and the letter, she must get a life. Mo is the man. I like the traffic man. I am not sure if we were stuck in traffic or he is also stuck in traffic.

    Mo is dealing with sencetive issue in a fun way. keep it up

    love Mo! I haven’t listened to an entire Yfm breakfast show since Fresh and Thato left but i’ve listened to Mo’s show since Tuesday so it’s a Yay for me!

    I love Mo! He is a talented young guy and will do well on breakfast. Im suprised at how some ppl say he is arrogant, what young talented person wudnt be?even a little? he is a good choice and aside from mom daddy, there isnt much to pick from from the yfm pool. Sbu was good….at first and the show lacked the bite and excitement a long time ago. Lets give ppl a chance and be open to new things. My question is? HOW IS IT THAT THOSE DAM TWINS ARE STILL ON RADIO??? Talk abt nauseating!!

    I’m stil not sure if it’s a yay or nay but I like him& liked his urban express show. I dont think he’s arrogant.

    Given the fact that it’s his first week, I rathr give him a chance when he settles next week. On the real though, i think MacG has done breakfast to a great level whenever he stood in for S’bu and a well mannered him can get Jozi going in the morning.

    I hope Mo can wake us up proper next week…best of luck to him

    i like mo tsiki mara nahhh he is not doing it for me..he comes across as very arogant and that nje just puts me off..so his show is a no no for me..when i wake up i want to listen to a bubbly and cheerful voice…mo flava in my books would be great for those Late night/love kinda shows where its all about love and lovers/love jams

    I once lstened to Mo on that evening show of his….Damn the dude went on and on and even invited callers to advice him whether he should eat his burger or not as if that wasn’t stupid enough a topic, the listners actually called in and…well they discussed Mo’s burger….so yeah if that’s your type of information or entertainment(seriously I don’t know how to classify it),then switch on.

    I love Mo flava, he is certainly a breath of fresh air in da morning because Sbu was really starting to irritate me. Mo is certainly da future, keep on rocking.

    People who dont(or ever bothered) to listen to Yfm complain about Mo’s arrogance? Strange indeed? I wonder whether people have ever listened to people like John Robbie?(who have HUGE listnerships by the way) Anyway, I liked Mo’s show a lot and I can safely say that I have finally found a breakfast show that I can listen to. That woman blew that whole Jub-jub prayer thing WAY out of proportion! I mean it was just a joke(a funny one, I might add) Hated the traffic guy though, wasn’t sure if he was practicing on air or something.
