Born Josep Guardiola i Sala born 18 January 1971 in Barcelona, Catalonia.
He is known as Pep Guardiola, a Spanish football manager and former player.
He played as a defensive midfielder and spent the majority of his playing career with FC Barcelona, whom he captained for four years and is the current manager of since 2008.
On 10 April 2010, he became the first manager in Barcelona’s history to beat Real Madrid four times in a row, in the derby
