Wednesday night THE BANK in Rosebank was the place to be. Phila was launching his album and boy oh boy. Three words to describe Phila Mazibuko: Entertainer, Performer & Musician.

Anyway I will go back to that later…lets talk about who was there.

My sweet humble boy Akhumzi and the other Yo TV presenters came to support Phila…. eish those kids are LOUD! Can’t really blame them coz they get paid for screaming.

After searching and searching for ‘celebs’ finally I saw someone who was worth chatting to and that was Theo of Mafikizolo, looking smart as usual. What a sweet guy, he even insisted on taking a picture with me.When I said Theo ‘let me take a pic of you’ he goes “no lets find someone to take a picture of us coz i wanna take a pic with you”…lol

I spotted Zuzumuzi, I cant remember his real name. I wanted a picture of him but before I could blink he was nowhere to be seen. I am sure you remember him, I think its the same gentleman who gave Rebecca Malope a clap. (correct me if i am wrong ) Familiar TV faces like the cute Fistos came through..he is also one of those whose names I always forget it.

The YFM twins also graced The Bank. I can’t tell them apart. I have really tried bandla but kuyala shem. I know there is Ntando & Hlelo,very bubbly and energetic.Which one of the two is/was Bozza’s woman again?

The ‘IN’ couple Andile & Rozzy arrived together looking very hot.Took a few pics of them but the biggest mistake i made was to ask Rozzy to take a picture of me and Andile… yey,she kept on clicking and not even givin me a minute to at least pose with her man.Out of about 4 pictures that she took not even one is worth putting up here. I should have asked one of the waiters instead. It seemed as if she did not like the idea. Relax Rozzy he is yours, all I wanted was just a picture qha.

Then a lil birdie told me DJ Cleo was somewhere around. Tjo i went all over from VIP to backstage, bar and even bathrooms but lutho no Cleo. After a wide search I decided to tweet him but as I was about to post the Tweet I looked up and well well well there he was. You got to love Cleo,i-charm ne ego yakhe ingshaya ngaphakathi. I cant remember how many pics I took of him but he never got tired or complained, he maintained that signature smile of his and at some point yours truly was tempted to touch his studio..lol. Cleo plz follow me on twitter we have unfinished business bhuti. LOL

Heheheh just when the night was getting interesting, yo boy walked into the building looking a bit dehydrated and arrogant as always. He didnt even want to pose for pics. Uyabona ke wena Touch if you had been humble kancinci I was gonna polish this picture of you and at least make you look hotinyana but hayi ke kwehlule. He kept on shouting ‘I am going to the VIP section’ as if some of us were not part of that VIP section. SMH

Then the perfomances started.Nkanyiso was the MC, I laughed a bit at his jokes but I think he needs to watch his weight because this looks too dangerous.

Do yall remember Kedibone Mkhabela and her sisters or friends? Their group is called Tyte if I am not mistaken. They can dance, I am not too sure about the vocals though. When they took to the stage most of the guys couldn’t even close their mouths. Simphiwe the stylist, even said the person who is dressing Tyte & Phumeza in those stockings needs to get shot. Jah ne!

Well the man himself then took to the stage. Yay yay yay, Phila Mazibuko??? Hayi the boy is talented. The choreography was perfect, he was moving, shaking and doing a bit of samba and at some point I couldn’t believe it was that same cute lil boy from LIVE. My highlight of the evening was when he and his dancers perfomed in those black numbers…

Brilliant perfomance from Phila,you are talented maaaan. I for one wish you all the best in this journey that you have chosen.

All in all it was a wonderful night thank you to Aldecia and her team for organizing this event. The goodie bag had CDs of Phila & Phumeza, love it, we had a great time. Next time please try and cater for us non alcoholics as well, I had to pay for all my grapetizers…lol
