Kelly’s Cosmo Cover

Kelly Rowland is covering the July issue of 2010 and she’s looking gorgeous as always.
That’s all I have to say about Kelly. I’m sure she’s a very sweet gal but she doesn’t excite me at all, so I’ll leave it at that.
Now, about the COVER itself. I think it’s about time we had a chat to COSMO about their recycled stories.
I swear if I went to hunt for my old cosmos I’ll see that “Sexual Fantasies” sealed section… didn’t we have this just the other day?
I am a huge Cosmo Fan and I always buy the mag, (except their June cover coz I don’t like that Grey’s Anatomy chick )… but sometimes I end up with the same feeling I get when I buy Drum magazine. That feeling of “eish, I’ve read this before” and end up feeling cheated.
Umm otherwise, ummm… the last issue was very different and unusual, in a good way, now you guys have gone back to the “common” way of doing things. Kelly looks stunning though and I guess it is a big deal that she was actually here for the shoot. Nice one.

I dont know when last did I buy a Cosmo. Once in a while I download the American one and read it, but I’m not a fan, same goes for Ms Rowland.

At least you guys buy it. I stopped buying True Love. I stopped buying Drum. Now, I plan to buy MOVE! Magazine, of course because I want to work for them.
As for the Cosmo, hayi, I have always felt that they give weak sex tips. It’s like they’re exagerate the concept of having sex or of meeting “Mr right”…
I wouldn’t mind working for them though. I would rock their world with fantasies… LOL’

I haven’t bought Cosmo in over a year. Their cover stories really are recycled, but I guess that works for their target market coz clearly peeps are buying it month after month. I stopped buying it when I turned 30 and realised that what they are selling to me is a fantasy lifestyle(an illussion), clothes & shoes I can’t afford, make up and accessories I don’t like and the idea that I will never be happy if I’m not thin, don’t have the right clothes, don’t have the Perfect man and earth shattering sex life.So Cosmo thanks for keeping me company in my 20′s, but you are not welcome in my 30′s.

I will complain after reading it and spotting some article from a while back otherwise outside of that I just buy all sorts of magazines for the sake of having the latest issue of whatever, I am just a sucker for girl magazines and thats where it ends, no more no less…

Ya nami the only thing I can say about Kelly is that she is gorgeous qha!! ….oh and that EVERY single interview I have listened to, read or watched,she always faithfully mentions her girls B and Michelle.

when i was a teen my sister bought cosmo and obviously i also read it. just after i started working i somehow felt cheated and didn’t buy it for years. started buying it again last yr for a coupla months and realised i may as well dig up my old mags instead of buying cos it’s all the same stuff.

Hayi, mina I’ve cured my addiction of mags! I onl buy if there’s something that catches my attention while checking the covers. Otherwise i’ll read them at the hair salon….seeing that they stockup and they are always current.

Cosmo is the same year after year! Glad i realised this years ago so stopped wasting my money on it.(tho i wouldnt mind working there too). I buy Elle for the fashion, Marie Claire for the articles and the rest dont cater for me! esp Glamour,never feel connected to that mag. As for Fairlady it misses its mark-wouldnt mind working there either!

Kelly is the only thing going with this cover, all that chocolate brown is making me crave….chocolate. I am an ex-collector of Cosmos (have issues dating back to year 2000). I stopped in 2006 bcos well, the recycled editorial got too much. Hope they are ‘listening’.
