Steven Pienaar has just launched his brand new website, www.steven-pienaar.com and I love it. It’s very easy to navigate, very clean and there is no clutter.

What do you do if you have a free football weekend?
Steven: “If there’s no game scheduled, I just relax at home and enjoy the days with my family and friends watching South African or Dutch movies”
How do you relax?
Steven: “Hanging out with my friends and play some Dominos, I have no special ritual to relax.”
Which book did you last read?
Steven: “The Holy Bible. It goes with me wherever I go. I read in my Bible every morning and evening.”
What is your favourite text in the Bible?
Steven: “It´s Psalm 23, `The Lord Is My Shepherd´“
Do you have any lucky accessories?
Steven: “Yes, but this is my secret”
What is your favourite football boot and model?
Steven: “I just got my new adidas F50 adizero for the World Cup read all about it under Waht´s new section. This boot is the best I´ve ever had, it´s soo light.“
What is your favourite drink?
Steven: “I normally drink a Coca Cola Zero or just Water”
What is your most highly prized non-material possession?
Steven: “The most valuable thing a person can have is primarily health. It goes without saying, a healthy body is particularly indispensible for professional athletes and of course the health of my two daughters!”
What kind of music do you prefer?
Steven: ” HipHop (Jay-Z is the Man), R&B House and of course Kwaito. Before my games I always listen to Gospel songs, it´s good for the mentality before my games.”
What is you favourite style of clothing and brand?
Steven: “I like to wear just normal stuff. I love my True Religion Jeans, my D&G and Dsquared T´s and my adidas sneakers.“
What is your favourite movie of all time and why?
Steven: ” The Godfather, cause he is the real gangster!”
What car do you prefer the most?
Steven: “I love my Mercedes G-Model“
Who is your room mate with Everton and Bafana Bafana?
Steven: ” We don’t share rooms with Everton. Normally, with Bafana Bafana I’m roommates with Elrio van Heerden or Bernard Parker, but in the latest camp it’s Siyabonga Nomvete.”
Are you often in Johannesburg, your hometown?
Steven: “Unfortunately, I can’t make it to Jozie that often any more. But I try to see my family and friends every time I come to South Africa for the national team. After the World Cup I hope to stay some time and see my whole family and my friends”
Do you have a favourite sport apart from football?
Steven: “I love watching Cricket and Rugby, especially if the Proteas and Springboks are playing.”

I love his website because it’s VERY up to date! Soon after he won Man Of The Match, in the SA vs Guatemala game, the news is on his site. Together with the comments he made after getting the R10 000 prize.
