Just Curious and BM Records have teamed upto give away 5 copies of Jenerik Soulz album, Room Service, to 5 lucky Just Curious readers.

If you are wondering who Jenerik Soulz is and what they are about then here’s a bit of information about them…

Urban house group Jenerik Soulz have been around for years. Although their music only started hitting major radio stations in 2009. They were originally  established in 2003 by cousins Tebogo “T Beatz” Leshabane and Neo “De Jenero” Leshabane. They were later joined by songbird Dionne Song in 2008 who has since become the voice of the group and completed the final piece to the puzzle that led to the release of their debut album “Room Service” under the BM Records label owned by Beatmaker.

All members of the group have degrees and diploma’s in different fields, Neo De Jenero is a qualified Chartered Accountant, one of only eight in the National Treasury, T Beatz has a bachelor of arts degree that he obtained at Wits, works for SuperSport and Dionne who has a SAFTA nomination under her belt  for her role on MNet series The Coconuts as “Beyonce”, has completed her diploma in Musical Theatre  and is currently pursuing a degree in the same field. She also used to present a youth TV show on SABC 2 called “Hey SA” back in 2004.

While many debate which genre of music Jenerik Soulz falls under, one would say it’s urban house music with a bit of an up tempo. Not only can you dance to their music, you can also enjoy it on the road.  Part of the  musical influence comes from hip hop, soul and jazz. One of tracks they’ve done with Bantu Soulz titled “Again” is an epitomy of that jazz influence… With their music receiving a lot of airplay, Jenerik Soulz are fast becoming a house hold name to be reckoned with in the industry.
