Very sad to learn that Khanyi Mbau has been admitted in hospital for depression. Her manager, Linda Moeketsi (pictured with her) tweeted the details:

Yho, for some reason, I am really scared and honestly seriously praying that she gets out of this fine. Poor gal (no pun) has been through a lot, what with the stories in the papers, the Drum interview with Theunis and his wife, it can’t have been easy for her. Yes, she (AND THEUNIS) put through Primrose a lot too but it’s never a laughing matter to see someone fighting for their life.
Khanyi’s a strong gal and I hope she’ll fight on. No man is worth losing your life for. Especially not this one.

I’m sorry but I don’t feel sorry for Khanyi! This is the real world, u reap what u sow! Maybe her muti is what landed up in hospital. It was all fun n games when she was “spitting in Mrs Crous’s face”, well ke lefaseng mo n God has the last say. You don’t intensionally hurt people n think u will get away with it! I really dont understand how people are or operate. If Khanyi was in hospital because of a car accident or cancer then I would feel sorry for her, but depression aowa, I’m sure poor Mandla (no pun intended) is still depressed wherever he is.

hai man SS..and you must hide from me,the self appointed representative ya SA Mental Wellness Institute bcos i trully empathise with Khanyi and anyone who is going thru depression…It is a serious condition, especially if one gets clinically depressed.
@syamthandaskota, im with samma…..playing the blame game is not helpfull at all. Between her and he therapist, she will have to acknoledge situiations that got her to the break down and start making changes…..hopefully without making noise in the media. Its about her health now, its not entertainment.

And if you dont see this as a chance to change your life around, then you need Jesus more than I thought. I dont know how you thought you could pubicly date a married man and humilate his wife and children and think you would end up having the last laugh. It was bound to end up in pain and suffering one way or the other.

I never believed it for one bit that Khanyi was in hospital. Then my suspicion was confirmed when she twitted yesterday morning that, “greeting all! much love to all my tweeps, no phones aloud here at the wineyard, but had to reach out te ya all.” This was when it was reported that she is ‘critical’.
My opinion is that Khanyi wants to stay relevant and the public’s sympathy now that izinto aren’t looking good for her. She has made her bed, now she must lie in it… The next on the line should be that Nkothovu yexhego engu Crous!
