I Love Kuli’s Headline!

I’ve seen two episodes of Mzansi Magic’s entertainment show, Headline and I am very impressed!  Look, nothing is perfect and there is always more than could be done to make stuff better but I am sold on this show. I have heard people comparing it to SABC 1′s RGB and one funny comment that I got was that “Real Goboza by any other name is still Real Goboza.” Well, maybe it is Real Goboza but if it is then I’ll say it’s Real Goboza Done Right.

Kuli Roberts does not hold back. She is raw, very spontaneous, asks the most random, hilarious questions and she is having fun with the show! If what we’ve seen so far is a taste of what’s to come ahead in the show then we’re in for a treat. I would enjoy it a lot more if the voice over guy would go or speak without trying to be funny. His voice is a distraction… there must be some normal sounding people out there and if they want me to refer them to people, they can try the gal who does the entertainment news on Mo Flava’s breakfast show. I don’t know her name but she’s good.

As for the Mel Gibson news, please let us save that for V-Entertainment. If I can watch Headline, it means I have DSTV and I have access to the international celebrity stuff on E! News, so there is no need to repeat what I’ve already seen on E! Entertainment. If they gotta show international celebrity news, then let it be very interesting news, news that we “probably have not heard/read of”.

Other than, awesome work Bitch Films! I love the show!

    No BS, this isn’t true. I’m on compact and therefore don’t have access to E!Entertainment.

    Anyway, i agree with you! i love Kuli and her most random questions- love her even more when she dismisses the person she’s interviewing. Cracked up when that woman kept repeating Barbie after her. Phew, i watch it ngiphinde ngibukele the repeat!

    yay! Yaaaaaay! Lol @ the free gravaters, siyanibongela. Gosh, i missed this place! Anyway….i love Kuli’s show, I was 1 of those ppl who thought it wud be another RGB but was proven so wrong. Kuli is so energetic and humorous in the show. With RGB she was always in studio. Here she goes out and u can she her interacting with the schlebs in a way only she can. She’s genuine, keeps it real and i love that.

    But I so against her weaves, eish usisi needs to consult with some JC peeps on how to get it right…it just looks too synthetic.

    I watched for the first time, this past week and I just think the show is ALL OVER the place. She jumps from one topic to another.
    Secondly that voice over dude’s voice is annoying he almost sounds like that voice over guy from friends like these.
    And then my Gawd, Khuli hair. For someone who is always dissing people, she shouldnt leave room to be dissed. That weave looks like its been drenched in Canola Oil!
