Tiger’s Wife Speaks. Maturely.

When I read this interview that Elin Nordegren (why didn’t she change to Woods anyway?) with People Magazine, I couldn’t help but think of Carol Mdladla’s interview with both Drum and now Move. Months after news of Tiger’s MANY affairs broke and now that the divorce has been finalised, Elin and her people approached People Magazine so that she could clear her name about the allegations that she beat her man with a golf club. Elin tells the magazine about how heartbroken and embarrassed she was about the whole thing. I guess with all the media frenzy around Tiger’s cheating and the subsequent divorce, it was only fair that she gives us her version but I liked the mature tone in her voice. (I’m sure she was trained though).

Elin didn’t confirm how much she got from their divorce settlement but it’s “rumoured” to be around $100 Million. What I would do with that money! Mmh.

2009 November 27
:: Reports emerge that Woods has been injured in a car accident near his Florida home after colliding with a fire hydrant and a tree.
:: Florida Highway Patrol issues a statement which says no alcohol was involved but charges may be pending.
:: US gossip websites begin speculating that the incident may be connected to reports earlier that week in the National Enquirer alleging an affair with New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel.
November 29
:: Woods releases a statement on his website admitting full blame for the incident. He said: “I’m human and I’m not perfect.”
November 30
:: The golfer confirms he will miss his own tournament, the Chevron World Challenge.
December 1
:: Woods is issued with a traffic citation for careless driving and a $164 fine. Police say there will be no criminal charges.
December 2::
US Weekly, a magazine, publishes an interview with cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, who claims a two-and-a-half-year affair.
:: In a statement Woods says: “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behaviour my family deserves.”
December 3
:: Rachel Uchitel, who previously denied reports of an affair, cancels a planned press conference due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
December 4-11
:: A flurry of claims are made by other women alleging to have had a flings. They include a porn star and a pancake house waitress.
December 8
:: Woods’ mother-in-law Barbro Holmberg is rushed to hospital from his Florida home. She is later released.
:: Sports drink firm Gatorade becomes the first sponsor to drop its endorsement of Woods.
December 9
:: It emerges Woods has not been seen in any prime-time US television adverts since November 29 as sponsors desert him.
December 10
:: Rachel Uchitel uses a magazine interview to deny she is a “home-wrecker” or “tramp”.
December 11
:: Jamie Jungers, 26, who claims an 18-month affair with Woods, says she has been left with a “broken heart.”
:: Woods says he is taking an “indefinite break” from golf and apologises for his “infidelity”.
December 12
:: Gillette distances itself from Woods saying it is “limiting his role” in marketing to “support his desire for privacy”. His main sponsor, Nike, stands by him.
December 13
:: Global management consultancy Accenture says it will not continue its sponsorship agreement with the golfer because “he is no longer the right representative” for its advertising.
2010
February 3
:: Eight-time major winner Tom Watson calls on Woods to “show some humility” as a player and apologise for his off-course behaviour before returning to golf.
February 19
:: Woods calls a press conference and says: “I’m deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behaviour.” He says he has undergone 45 days of therapy for his “issues”.
April 8
:: Woods returns to golf at The Masters. He finishes fourth.
August 15
:: Following a dismal run of form he fails to earn an automatic spot on America’s Ryder Cup team.
August 23
:: Woods and Elin Nordegren release a joint statement through lawyers announcing their divorce.

Yah nhe!! This morning Tiger says he feels more sadness than relief at the collapse of his marriage. With all that money, I don’t think I’d e ven have a reason to cry or mop around. I would leave the kids with my mom and go galavanting for a good year, but she’s probably used to galavanting world wide. Tjo the problems of the rich!!!

and dont forget the mistress Rachel Uchitel also got 10 million dollars rom exclusive interviews and is getting more , this week i saw her on an ad in TMZ she was milking a tiger(FEEDING A TIGER A BOTTLE) lol.
I just think these loaded celebs must think twice before unzipping their pants, Mbau must move to the states SA has no money. Just imagine departing with a cool 100 million and surely you will get support for the kids aside.

Argh some women bayaxoka apha and bagezela uCarol. One thing u guys must know is u can never compare an african woman to american woman. An african is tought at an early age about values, traditions, cultures ,respect their man etc. Most african women they get into relationships, with good intentions : loving, caring for a man and maybe get married.
