Tropika Island of Treasure 3 Launched

Looks like Rosebank is the place to be when it comes to events where the cool kids attend. I was supposed to go with my Brown Shuga but she decided to ditch me, I started crying but it didn’t help because she wasn’t coming anyway. Last year’s Tropika media launch was also great; I met interesting people and the same happened this year. Seems like there’s a slide change with the Tropika competition, according to the press release “In the previous competitions on the islands of Mauritius and Zanzibar, it was about contestants pairing with celebrities and sharing the R1-million rand. This year, all of the 14 contestants have an equal chance of walking away with the R1 million”.
This year’s line up of celebrities includes a mixture of musicians, comedians, TV and radio personalities from hip hop star, JR; Radio/TV host, Bonang; SA’s beauty queen, Tatum; the comedian and crazy guy, Loyiso Gola; drama queen and diva extraordinaire, Khanyi Mbau;, Dionne, The TV presenter and actress who portrayed Beyonce in the sitcom, The Coconuts; and lastly Snotkop previously known as Lekgowa.
Just after getting my name tag I bumped into Kuli Roberts, oh she’s really crazy hey, she was about to leave and accompanied by Stoan. I love Kuli #thatsall.
Bonang, Tatum and Dionne, I know I’ve said it once and I’m saying it again, Bonang is hot and sexy and she knows how to dress.
JR performing on stage and everyone couldn’t stop dancing to his tunes.
Janine Jellars, one of the hottest media mogul in the making. The theme was ‘put’ something blue and that’s what she did.
Shashi Naidoo was one of the participants last year and she also made her presence to support the new team.
Snotkop also performed, mmmm yeah neh? That’s all I will say.
Khanyi Mbau and Loyiso Gola were not at the launch, apparently Mbau was suppose to come at 5pm and I wanted to wait for her to ask why she blocked me on Twitter lol but then they said she will no longer be able to make it. It was also an open bar and you could drink until you got sloshed.
As usual Mika was late and i wanted to run from him so that he doesn’t kiss my cheeks but lol i was late because he was coming straight to me. Shem yena he’s very interesting, you never get bored around him.

I like Bonang and i compliment her when she is dressed nice. Its just that my fashion knowledge is lower grade, hence i dont know wtf she was wearing here. she is hot and sexy though, the attire, not my cuppa tea.
