Kwesta In With A Special Rekwest

Born Senzo Vilakazi on 11 August 1988, Kwesta launched his debut album “Special Rekwest” in Melville last week. The do was not attended by the usual suspects… but then it was just a media launch so we didn’t really expect glammed up celebs… It was quite chilled, s Slikour and Shugasmakx were good hosts, thanks guys for the hospitality.
Kwesta is Buttabing Entertainment’s newest signing. He first burst on to the scene (at least that’s when I first noticed him) with his single “Shap Fede“, which received quite a lot of airplay .. He’s now keeping it COOL with Special Rekwest, a hip hop album, which they promise does not conform to what we’ve heard recently. From the little that I heard at the launch, Kwesta knows his stuff and don’t be fooled by that tiny frame, he’s got a big voice shem… I was actually surprised. In a good way.
I loved how creative they got with Kwesta’s entrance, it was very MTV Awards… As we watched a video of his journey, we saw him drive from his house to the venue and watched him walk out of the car, up the stairs and into the Melroom Lounge! It was very creative guys, well done!

Comedian Chris Mapane was the MC for the night. I’m wondering why he approached Kiki to tell her that JC is going places coz I was right there… or maybe I’m not approachable? or Kiki has been telling people she’s madam JC? LOL. When Shugasmakx quizzed him about visiting JC, Chris replied “Of course,who doesn’t?” Well… thank you Chris for the love, we appreciate it.

Slikour’s baby mama was there to support the family business… Slikour says the baby’s overdue and the baby will be called “Noah or Kylie” and Silindokuhle…
JR looked very happy to be photographed for JC this time. He and blogger Kiki managed to sort out their differences. He apologised for his diva tendencies at the RGB launch and said it’s coz he was having a bad day…
*sigh* Zolisa Xaluva looks good bantu. Very manly… let’s just say the guy who plays Senzo is very lucky. Anyway, he’s photographed here with Thandy… you know her from Tshisa..
All I know is that he’s part of TearGas… not sure what his name is…
Nota and Yanga, from the Ventilation family… They’re gonna break hearts one day.
Because he loves JC, I won’t say much about Chris and the not-so-nice job he did as MC. I hope he wasn’t paid for the gig coz I don’t know what he was going on about. I just felt like I was watching a wannabe David Kau on the stage and it was really a far cry from the funny Chris I’ve watched on Blacks Only. Chris, please remain YOU, there’s only one David Kau.

Lol Soul Sista uBS is confusing me. The other time Dee & myself were interviewed by Selimathunzi and we didn’t mention JC,she freaked. Now we advertise JC she complains again athi siyaclaima ukuba ziBoss..heheheh.

I loooooove me some Jason/Zolisa, he is such a man. I also love the way he looks at Senzo on Generations, you would swear that he love him ngempela, brilliant actor. I hope I never get to meet him coz my groupie/stalker tendencies would be unleashed.

I think the new kid needs a stylist, if he’s gonna be in the public eye then he must look the part. He shouldn’t compare himself to Slikour, as he is rightfully saving for nappies.
