Oh Yes: Toilet Indeed!

Its about time I start using the word I have been avoiding to use all along which is “haters”, after checking out the websitewww.toilet.wen.ru, I then understood how the word haters came about! I was shocked, couldn’t believe what I was reading, had to rub my eyes, take a stretch, pinch my muscled thigh, only to find out I wasn’t dreaming, but I was actually online. Yeah I know curiosity killed the cat but I ended up reading anyway just to find out more about the site.

The website is full of people who are angry, hating and hungry for attention. Exposing all the dirty laundry about celebs, sharing nasty sex stories, criticizing TV & Radio shows in a not so constructive way and others leave their numbers in search for partners. Everyone is talking about this website even newspapers have written articles about how this site is ruining other people’s reputations, and the chances of breaking marriages are very high. People visit the site to spread rumors about others, they diss each other and expose all the trash about people they know. This makes me wonder, what has gotten into the youth of South Africa, are we that low? Blame it on class or devil?

Now I’m more than willing to see the owner of this website, first things first a shrink will be highly needed because I don’t think a person who’s right upstairs can create a site called ‘toilet’ like seriously?

I spent some time on the site just to check what exactly it’s the about, what I noticed it that:

- Black people are using the site, because 99% of the comments are in vernacular.
-University Students are the people who contribute a lot on the site and there are lot of university groups created.
-Sex stories, Vulgar Language and lack of class is what seems to be dominating on the site.

Seeing that the youth have made this filthy website to be popular as it is, I got worried about us future leaders, where are the future leaders if the only hope for South Africa is behaving like this? I’m also young and concerned about the youth, we need to empower ourselves instead of degrading each other.

I think we are at a point where we can say that it’s actually true that even education cannot make one classy, class is earned. One can expect a lot from a University student; class, decency, maturity and pride, but the toilet website has made people forget about their self-worth. Once you start taking your phone and write bullsh!t about other people it shows that you’re a coward who needs to grow up.

The toilet website is killing the purpose and the aim of social networking sites, something good could have been created instead of that site.

I also went Tjo!! when i saw there’s even a church room in there………people are seriously bored like really what are you gaining by dissing and dishing dirt on other people?? I’m also very worried&concerned about us the future leaders…… I would say this results from lack of education,decency and maturity but if even university students participate in such activities am really lost for words.God have mercy!

You know you are very old when you hear about such when they make mainstream news.

Anyhow…someone posted a link and curiosity got the better of me….and i landed on that hideous website. Aesthetically its just offputing….The Church chat room jumped at me, so i went to the AOG church group coz thats my churcho…and i dont remember what i saw there realy…but i found it weird that a church group can find a place on such a website, besides the fact that its called toilte. I find it hard to believe gore bazalwane ba baleng mo that website dont ever find themselves perusing through the other “ungodly” chatrooms.
Anyways i dont really care.

Then i went to the varsity chatrooms…glad to see my varsity isnt on the list, good on ya kudus!
But i went to the university of limpopo group or whatever….coz limpopo is home and shame i found nonsonso fela. Nonsonso…

Am i mad about it, was i shocked?….No. Not because i have ever participated in such juvinile sick habbits of trashing people even when i was young. But because i know it happens outside anyway..ko strateng, in the schools, ka taxing, this is nothing new..its just a reflection of what is prevalent in society and if we have an outrage we must start there.

I dunno how many times i told my niece to be carefull on mxit and we had a chat as often as i could squiiz it in untill she outgrew it.

Debbie – I only just heard about The Toilet today – I am deeply shocked at the vulgarity of the whole concept. First suicide, and judging by the untamed and viscious accusations and threatening commentary with no-one held accountable, next it will lead to violence. Come on people, this is not what we fought for in SA. All we want is peace and a good life. I agree with Mothuke – ban the website.

I really dont blame these future leaders in doing stuff like this, growing up in a country where dissing people makes you famous, i bet they are also trying their luck by reaching where no one expected.
For instance: we buy Sunday paper where Shwashwi call normal or ppl who have’nt made it yet ‘groupies or wannabe’s’ and she will diss ppl she doesnt like and we love it. Kuli writes about men as if he is writting in her own diary, but she is popular we support & love her andistho?

Even in here and other sites people are not sensitive enough to feel for big girls like ‘Dance your butt whatever presenter”, do you really think you are being positive in attacking someone nge-weight yabo? which they have been struggling with all their lives. if we so called ‘classy and adult’ people call ppl names and want them to do what we think is right with their lives, of course we will have kids of this nature ‘toilet kids’.isiXhosa sithi ”imfuzo iyagqithisa”

i love JC it has grown so much, first i use to just read and leave but lately i if find myself debating, laughing, advising, with ‘present human beings who love themselves to ignore other ppl’s weakness or black spots, many of you JC bloggers have a way of critising with out being brutal, critisicing constructively & shame we have those who are uncontrollable who dish like those toilet kids, you’d swear they are from the toilet…
i certainly choose where to reply, which posts are interesting for me and not demeaning to human beings.
