Race Day With Idols And Ford

Just Curious got invited to a Race Day With Idols event organized by Ford. Innocent Ndlovu and I were there to mingle with the top 7 Idols (Pieter, L’loyd, Jess, Elvis, Boki, Sindi and Adeline)!
The day started with a group of us “journos” being transported to the Gerotek test facilities somewhere out of town. We got there and the Ford staff welcomed us with a nice breakfast. The Idols weren’t there yet so we had to wait… Doing the “fashionably late” late thing already?! SMH.
Once they arrived, we got to meet and chat with them. I was so shocked when I realised just how tiny Sindi looked!
At this point I could hardly wait to get my foot on the pedal!
We were broken into two groups (the blue team and the white team). I was in the white team with Sindi, Jess and Peter.
The days happenings started with Eugene (from Ford) teaching us the importance of “safe following” distance when driving.
Jess was the 1st on my team to drive the Figo. She was on time… For someone with just a learners’ licence. Sindi looked a bit bored at the beginning, maybe it’s cos she didn’t really have a licence at all.
Once done with that exercise, we went on to do the mini obstacle course with Sindi, Peter and myself in the car (without the instructor).
The blue team finally joined us and we got on with the competition.
We all got the chance to get behind the wheel. From the “idols boys” section of the competition, Pieter won with Lloyd taking 2nd place. The “idols girls” was taken by Adeline with Jess coming in second.
Denis won the journos section with Zama coming in second! I smell some bribery bizniz…LOL! Oh and Elvis took the king cone title for knocking down the most cones 
Instead of hanging myself in shame after losing the challenge, I chatted up the some of the idols.
This is what I found out:
*Jess’ favourite idol is Boki
*Sindi’s is Jess
*Sindi moves around to overcome the nerves.
*Sindi takes what Bonang (your girl B) has to say about fashion very seriously cos she was wearing a white tank top, jeans and 7inch heels to a driving event!
*Jess does bourne fires at the beach for fun
*Sindi has no clue of how ruthless twitter can be.
All in all, here’s what I thought of the top 7:
*Sindi lacks personality (she can’t win idols by talent alone)
*Jess has the full package (a lil teeth whitening wouldn’t hurt)
*Elvis is one sexy beats
*Boki is a breathe of fresh air ( the dodgy hair cut has got to go)
*Peter is a really nice guy!
*L’loyd is uhm…yes
*Adeline is an ok chick.
Oh, and we had lunch and went home!

Sindi is soo talented but i think ur right she lacks that VOOOMA!! she sumtyms lost and the hairdo haai SMH ..but damn can she sing…Boki turned into a cute boy over night when he 1st auditioned he was ur average kasi boy manje he is hot!!

I met Sindi b4 Idols and I complimented her on her guitar skills and she just looked at me. I didnt know if akangizwanga, or uyangiziba, or amahloni or ngamcika. but with that being said, girl got mean talent.
Sindi’s favourite is Jess???????????????? Why????
