Uyanda’s Cocktail Party!

Business woman, socialite and DFC owner Uyanda Mbuli hosted a cocktail party in her store in Rosebank as part of SA Fashion week. My word! The first thing that I did when i got there was to grab serope sa kgogo and then started taking pictures. There were all kinds of food and drinks; I didn’t know where to start. It was just too much.

I must admit Uyanda knows how to throw a good party and she is also a good host. She and her publicist, Simphiwe Majola managed to entertain everyone who was there by giving them attention.

BlackBerry also gave away two phones at the event and yes being greedy as I am, I entered; it’s a pity I didn’t win. Uyanda also acknowledged Fashion publicist and fashionista Felipe Mazibuko for producing a few DFC shows. “He has been part of my growth since the beginning” said Uyanda.

After what happened to Brown Shuga on RGB, I managed to behave whenever the camera looked my way!  Brenda Ngxoli was also there shooting for RGB, such a crazy chick, I love her and she sent a message to say she loves Lelo.

Before the party ended, they started playing old school music, from Lebo Mathosa, Tkzee, Brenda Fassie and everyone was just dancing. I didn’t know that Rami Chuene can actually sing, everyone was shocked because her voice is just amazing. Here are the famous faces that attended the event

Verona Pillay and Zubz also entertained the crowd, apparently Verona has an album coming out in November and I’d actually buy it. She has a powerful voice, keep your eyes opened and watch the space.


Felipe Mazibuko also came to support Uyanda.

And now the girls were performing, it was hilarious! No stuck up celebs were there. Everyone was free and happy.

    Thanks Felipe for not subjecting us to another hideous outfit. That looks normal and classic. I’d still run away from you though with that sprinkler of a mouth you have.

    Oh my word! Is that the Fentse guy who produces for TBose? I have seen that guy many times before but didn’t know his name. He way he speaks on radio is just so sexy to me. And the way he goes on and on, with that 46664 tshirt? And partying at ZAR and everything. Thought I’d only see him in top designer gear. He looks like Psypho’s older brother.

    Rami’s husband is HOT. Always thought so even before they were an item and eventually got married. He’s just joined Scandal, check out the hotness there.

    @Uthando, lol I’m not good with women’s shoes. But remember she twisted her ankle? She was wearing some comfortable heels, not hectic and they allowed her to walk properly.

    Guys there is this guy called NAYE LUPHONDWANA an SAFM presenter damn the way he speaks is fantadelipalatable yoh..everytime I listen to him I just melt
