Snapped At The “I Am Woman” Experience

We went to check out Thought24′s I Am Woman Extravaganza this past weekend. You must have seen the gig advertised in magazines like Move, True Love etc. Well, it was well supported, there were lots of women there and I was surprised when I met 3 girls who had come all the way from Welkom just to attend the event.
The hosts for the day were Penny Lebyane and Trevor Noah and Trevor was his usual charming self. Penny looked great in a black Thula Sindi dress… ooh, I died when I saw that… perfect fit. (pic: twitter)
W also enjoyed performances from Howza, Malaika, Rhythmic Elements (yawn) , the Idols Top 6 and Sechaba. Gosh, this man rocked!!! I totally enjoyed his performance , it was a really moving experience. After his performance, Trevor asked an interesting question. Why do we dance differently to Gospel Music? LOL I’d love to know too.
I’m waiting for pictures from the PR guys and I’ll tell you more about the event later but for now, here are pictures of the celebs we spotted at the event!

Ladies, as he reminded me on the day, Bongani is not married anymore. Heheheh. Cool guy.
Wow! I will not tell you just how long we had to wait just to take this pic. He had all those girls pushing and shoving just to get snapped with him. Wow! He was just standing there, smiling and letting them have their pics. What a sweet guy…
Siya Ngwekazi was also there… and I was just asking how he’s doing. He had just been eating seafood so the breath wasn’t that fresh lol. I told him though hehe.
There was a stand for the Thought 24 Book Division too.
And I was so so chuffed when I found out that Mam’ Dorah Sitole knew of Just Curious. I think sometimes we do things nje, not knowing how far they reach… It was great chatting to her, and I’ll bring you guys more info on how you can get your book published via their romance division if keen, as well as guidelines etc.

Lovely! It was just lovely. I did mention in the “weekend that was” that I saw 3 of the hottest men in Jozi. Trevor Noah, Tshepo Mosese and Bongani. And yes, I zoomed in on his impressive package. BS, please don’t lie and say your eye didn’t wander for a second. Kwaaaaa.
Eugene, he’s so adorable with those dimples…I feel like pinching them and speaking to him in baby language. Lol.
Thuli looks nice. She’s a beautiful girl shame and I feel her void when I watch City Ses’la.
Oupa and Nthathi bayafanelala. Kwaaaa.
WOW! Mam Dorah Sithole…gotta give it to her, she’s moved up the magazine ladder.
Kwaaaa @ Siya’s breath smelling of seasfood…maybe it was a different type of fish, if you know what I mean. LOL. Just goofing.

I think the reason Bongani dirvoced is because ke stabane.The dude looks stabanish and he married to cover up but unfortunately the heat was way three much for him.
