Can I hear a loud ‘welcome back’ as I grace the Just Curious buildings again. Well last time I did an article on what’s in and what’s out, was in June, so things have changed, what was OUT in June may be IN now in October..who knows??…. Well I have compiled my list once again, all you need to do is sit back and start taking notes of what you need to do and what you mos def need to stop doing. The sun is too hot to go around the streets doing what’s ‘out’ and turning into a joke..

INs

* Jezabel is in, whether its a song or the way you carry yourself. Well it seems like there’s more to this song, than the confusion about having babies between Khaphela & Khethiwe.

* Being a DJ is in, everyone wants to be a DJ, whatever happened to creativity people?? Imma let you finish but we have plenty of DJs already, if Black Coffee can play for 60 hours it shows that we don’t need more.

* Same stories, same faces, different weeks is what’s in when it comes to Sunday Newspapers. Yes we all know there’s a small amount of celebrities in SA to feed an infant, but we are tired of reading about one and the same people.

Journos must visit JC for a steaming scoop.

* Putting celebs into their place is what’s in on Twitter…LOL you dare mess with Twitter people and a trending topic will follow you, some celebs need to chill, yes you make money and all, but us ‘ordinary’ people won’t bow down to you on Twitter, maybe on stage or TV.

* Is it me or Blonde hair or weave is hitting a come back? Well as a South African citizen with rights I can stomach blond but I can’t deal with Red..Thanks Rihanna for misleading our Mzansi ladies.

* Resurrection is what’s in on our local soaps, David Genaro and Tau are back like seriously? The dead people come back, that’s so Days of our lives, but we support because we love our local soaps.

* Spotting on Twitter is in, whether you’re in a Mall or certain event, people will tweet all the celebs they spotted. Someone was brave enough to tweet that spotting is for journos because they are the ones who are there at events to spot celebs anyway, but everyone is spotting of late.

* Silence is Golden is what’s in when it comes to politics, Dear politicians we used to play that game on the school shuttle during my high school days, its a total bore, we need drama, there is nothing funny about silence. Where’s Julius Malema?

* Is it safe to say Willow Smith is a blessing after Justin Bieber?, well shoot me but I think this young girl is in and she’s going places, have you heard her hit song “Whip My Hair”, must Rihanna get nervous or Nicky Minaj for that matter? I say they must sit and watch this young girl winning the world.

* Celebs are slowly but surely learning how to handle criticism. Have you seen DJ Cleo’s favorite tweets? Did you see how Loyiso Gola handled the responses he received about his first show on etv? Have you seen how DJ Sbu retweets those negative tweets? Unlike some celebs who throw tantrums when they are criticized, they must overdose on chill pills and learn from these people.

OUTs

* Skinny Jeans on very Chubby people are so out, they are called Skinny for a reason people. A friendly reminder to chubby chicks “Donna Claire is there for a very good reason”.

* Ladies its summer, we want to see those thighs, please get rid of those pantyhose you were with shorts. What’s the use of wearing a mini skirt or short if you gonna hide your legs.

* Whoever came up with ‘dzies, dzead, dzeal and bazthong’ on Twitter needs to be shot. No ways that’s so out!

* Dumi Gwebu (Stylist) says utility bags are out at funerals. Ladies must invest in clutch bags, why on earth do ladies carry uber big bags to funerals, because last time I check only GOGOs carried those bags to throw in a piece of meat/dumpling that is served.

* Vodacom is out, I’m not using Vodacom but an injury to one is an injury to all. Whatever happened to most well known network, its seems like a day cannot end without complains about this network.

Please try and fix your problems ASAP and while you at it, what’s up with “DADDY COOL”??? SMH!!!

* Is it me or Sabc 1 really needs new shows now? If you disagree then how do you explain that ancient comedy show after generations on Friday? Well that show is so out, it is as exciting as watching those not so funny Dial Direct ads or Scorpion ads for that matter and there are other programs that I won’t mention.

* Stealing someone’s work and use it for your TV show or website without crediting the person or site is extremely out. Plagiarism is not allowed and you can be jailed for that.

* Looking bad on TV its out because we end up focusing on your looks then what you have to offer, Sharon (Generations) please look for a new hairdresser, Sarah (Generation) please sort out your beef with your make up artist because from where I’m standing it seems like you are beefing, if not, how do you explain your looks? and Muvhango please fire your stylist and look for another one.

* Crying over your EX or stalking him/her is out. Bless the person who came up with the word EX, because this person is called an EX for a reason, why do you rum after someone who’s cuddling with his/her new lover? Catch a wake up now!

* We knows its spring and people want to look good for summer, people are gullible and peer pressure galore, but paying at Virgin Active meanwhile you know you’re lazy is out. Last time you stepped your foot at Virgin Active it was when you went to pay for your joining fee, It didn’t work last year, what makes you think it will work this summer….lol gym is no child’s play *hides*…

* Same presenters, different shows? That’s so out…seeing that Top Billing is also looking for a presenter it would be great if they consider those who are new, there are talented people out there we see them every Thursday. To those who want to present every show ‘Phumelaynini’…there’s this song that goes like: “dedela abanye”

Just send him n sms or something, asking people to follow you on twitter…pls don’t do that…

    @Lue i think LIVE is not IN, but only looks that way because all the other shows look like homevideos on SABC 1(lack of competition). Any show will look good competing with the worst on SABC 1 (and yes those shows on SABC 1 are shocking) but compare Live to Club 808& its an OUT!

    @Menperc great article :) ! and i agree that having the Same presenters, on different shows? is so out… We’ve had 3 presenter searches and with all the finalists(cant speak for topbilling yet) it was evident that they were goodlooking (the females look much better than existing presenters)& cud present. SOOOOOO “dedela abanye”. People like Penny, Sizwe D, Bonang, Phila, the Twinz etc. Get an education or stop being greedy& give others a chance.

    Live shame give it up people its not working, Andile was the show not let it go I don’t think I can watch Bonang again without being on some headache medication. Sizwe just walk away before you lose some credibility Live needs to go.
