Finally the Metro FM Music Awards are on TV!

We’ve told you about the show, now that you’ve seen it with your own eyes, what are your thoughts?

The award ceremony was nice, I like the dancing during the Song of the Year Nominees announcement. It was really nice, I wish SABC can stop with the cutting tendencies. All in all, great entertaining perfomances, tha artists really took it seriously and the acceptance speeches sweet and straight to the point. Lulo Cafe looking si nice and well suited. Dissappointments for me were Mafikizolo not pitching for the Song of the Decade award, would have also loved to see BlackCoffee perform.

the audience man, they should have put more of an effort. I saw one wearing a cap and a soccer jersey, another one in a vest i’m sure he’s been sweating in all day! bring the metro’s to jozi, wear the people will dress up like they have money even though they don’t. at least look proper. or take them to sun city, but a stadium?

Judith Sephuma gave an outstanding perfomance, I luved the live band n im definitely buying that album.

Dj cleo is a serial rocker!

Im just loyal to all kalawa artist, except winnie. the show was moving so fast, y vele?

@ Coke… mina I was wondering why Sbu had his legs together in an unnatural sort of way…

I like this Dj trend,its like it is on par with bo Dr so and so,Prof so and so when a person has to select their title…

@ Buhle…Nkosi,shiny suit galore,they look terrible!!! reminds me of those cheap China City Muvhango suits…mara Tira looked sauve with his white suit & Mampintsha as well,that old look

@ All…Zonke is hot and talented,mara underated…

Come to think of it, there’s a lot of dudes who need to decided where they stand exactly. Watched RGB on saturday and they interviewed Theo Kgosinkwe. Eish… yah neh??? Did anybody check out Phat joe’s reaction after that???…lol… I clapped my hands for Joe for having the balls to say what was on a lot of people’s minds…

This actually got me thinking. There’s NO WAYS Theo’s wife doesn’t know that her man is gay. It’s very clear to everyone else. Assuming that my ass-u-m(e)-ption is right about him. If u were his wife ladies, what would make u stay in such a relationship? Money perhaps? Hope that maybe you’re wrong about him and that he’s just different?

re Sbu. What about his cougar, the 1 he called live on air Sat, or was it a sketch just 2 silence people abathi he’s gay? Trevor also called his cougar. I wonder zikhiphani. As much asI always say uSbu uyandidika with his childish tendencies, I always find myself listening 2 his show, don’t know why. What a disaster….Tjo mara Metro how dare the make us watch such…they should take out the word awards and out in graduation or I dont know some other word coz when I think awards I think glam, killer performances,stunning decor the works..the people there looked like they were sitting in some unfinished church ko Limpompo….NO Metro..NO!
