“Get out More”!
Get Out More is an initiative that the Bassline has introduced to provide a platform to showcase the wealth of live talent in South Africa. With this, they hope to encourage and revive a culture of audiences getting out, supporting and enjoying live acts .
This initiative is about really good homegrown artistic talent, without all the hype and bling that is so prevalent at most shows. Well, I can attest to Max’s talent. I had the pleasure of attending his pre-birthday party celebration on the 24th December in Welkom and he blew us away with his talent!
Accompanying Max-Hoba that night will be duo Sy and Ribatone and acclaimed poet Flo. On the decks will be veteran DJ Bob and one of my favourite DJ’s Chix Soulful!
If you would like to attend, doors open at 8pm and tickets will be sold for R60. You can also pre-order tickets from www.bassline.co.za.
Okay, I really didn’t have to tell you all this but I think Max is one talented guy and this song alone has earned him my support! Check out this video of Mnto’Mkhulu
