    I really don’t see any use, why would I want to celebrate someone I don’t even know or don’t relate to his belief (Saint Valentine) there’s anniversaries(as partners), birthdays etc… ‘Valentines day’ doesn’t make sense to me.

    Valentines day :) … Every day should be like valentines day :) , you shouldn’t have to wait till feb 14 to do something special?

    So I don’t want any teddy bears and that includes stuffed cats, dogs, dolls, plastic flowers, corny cups and vouchers to candy land are not welcome :)

    Sparklies, watches and weekend’s away and gift vouchers to bedtimeheaven are much welcome if not then a person can keep em to themselves this year .

    Yazi people who don’t have partners always hate Valentines, and even those who do but are not romantic are also against it.. I too would hate it if I was single, but bcos I made sure ukuthi I have some1 b4 the date then he has no choice but to do something just for the fun of it, I will celebrate some1 I don’t even know as long as a get a gift, and yes it must sparkle*** Hee hee

    mhh this is one day i dont like simply becuase i have to give in to my forever demanding wife…

    i will have to be at home as early as possible for a suprise dinner for two or who knows she has made some dinner reservations somewhere, where i am expected to bring a present if not am dead.
    on the light side: I will buy presents for her and my second wife to be, but that does’nt mean i like this day (it’s such a waste of money shit day) am also #team NO to valentines#..yeer!

    Its not the concept that i hate but the fact that having to do something special for your loved one is all brought down to one day.

    I believe you should show affection and spoil your loved one every moment that you get.

    Funny things do happen on VD sometimes.I remember I was in grade 7.Got a suprice from this guy who use to claim that He was so much in love with me.A TV bar & a rose.Ngathatha ke put im school bag.When I got home ngenza sure ukuthi I hide the rose right underneath in my clothes.Only to find that my brother followed me saw when I hide the rose.Find out the next day that the girl he then had a crush on staying same street with us got the rose the same day.My heart was broken coz I could’nt confront my brthr He was going to report and I’d be in trouble to where I got the rose from.
