U2′s 360 Degrees Preview

U2 (The Edge; Larry Mullen, Jr. , Bono, and Adam Clayton) is an Irish band formed in 1976.They are considered the biggest band in the world, their latest album No Line On The Horizon was released in February 2009 to astounding success and critical reception. To promote the album they decided to go on a world tour, they called it 360 degree tour. The show commenced on the 30th of June 2009 and will end 30th July 2011 totaling 110 shows, all held in full capacity stadiums. It was the highest grossing tour in 2009 and 2010 according to billboard.
The show is called 360 degree because the stage set up literally gives 360 degree view. The show is sponsored by RIM (Blackberry) taking over from Apple. South Africa will experience what is considered the biggest show in the history of LIVE shows in Johannesburg on the 13th February (FNB stadium) and Cape Town on the 18th of February.
