Mmmh… so who sent copies of text messages on Aaron’s phone to the Sunday World? People are mean…

It all started last year when we read about Aaron’s wedding to his long-time girlfriend Jwalane, mother to their then 5 year old child. A couple of weeks after that, another headline came up ” Mbazo scores a brace – A wife in SA, a Lover in UK”. It was said that even though he had just married Jwalane, he still lived with a Ghanaian woman, Adelaide Vanderpuye. Apparently Adelaide took Mbazo to court on hearing of his marriage and the Sunday World reported that his assets had been frozen as a results. In the same article there was a quote from Aaron’s wife which said…

“It is his problem if he chooses to live a double life. I have known about the relationship since 2003 and that they have a child together. Even when Aaron went to Belgium before England, that woman followed him. I know about her and she knows about me, but I thought things would change after we got married. I do visit Aaron in England when it is necessary, but I am happy with my life. Yes it is true that the three of them (Aaron, Adelaide & their child) came to the country to perform some rituals. I wasn’t happy, but there was nothing I could do about it.”

Well, this week, the former Bafana captain is back in the news, firstly because of a press conference he called on Friday to address the media about being dropped by Pitso Mosimane as Bafana Bafana captain. In the press conference, Aaron talked about his pain at being left out of the SA squad to face Egypt and how disappointed he was that Pitso had not even called him to tell him he was dropped, especially because he’s captain. Come Sunday and Mbazo is now in the tabloids because he slept with a girl , Thabang, who is said to be his Bafana teammate Kagisho Dikgacoi’s girlfriend. Here’s the exchange…

Me (Aaron): thnx baby, but the part I liked the most was the love making afterwards. U good, u very good. But next time we should get CD’s ok. I hate taking the risk we took.
Thabang: yebo Gogo, I heard you loud and clear. Will never get us into trouble. So relax.
Me: I can only relax if and when you tell me u got the pill.
Thabang: okay okay okay, I dnt want a brat either. I’m gonna go get them now.

The “me” part of Aaron’s messages proves that the messages were sent to the paper came from Aaron’s phone and I wonder who it could’ve been…

Shame… almost sounds like the John Terry situation neh? I kinda feel sorry for him… On the one hand he is trying to get the nation’s sympathy for having been dropped from the squad and at the same time, his reputation gets tainted via a tabloid. Was it just a con-incidence? Asazi.

I would be very sad if indeed this Thabang girl is Kagisho’s girlfriend… but ke knowing these boys.. maybe she wasn’t the only one naye. Intersexions in the Bafana camp… I wonder who else has slept with someone whos’s slept with someone… HERE’S TO HOPING THAT THEY ARE ALL HEALTHY.

Zuma must just BAN sex in this country.

    I really have to LOL at those that are dismissing this story as lies although it is very obvious that Aaron does not want to comment on it. If you knew that a tabloid is planning to run a particularly damaging story about you would you not get try to set the record straight and tell readers that those are just lies?
    Did he not have even five minutes after the conference to respond to the question of the journalist? He knew what the story was about because a journalist will always tell you why they are calling you and then ask for a response. If you don’t have time, you either email, sms or even get someone to speak on your behalf.
    And how about the woman’s response, does it reek like it comes from someone who is innocent?
    And to all those that question where the smses come from I only have to say one thing to you: Become a journalist and you will understand just how things work. Is that not the core of this industry? Getting stuff that would be difficult for other people to attain.
    I have to admit that I never read the SW these days but that story yesterday shook me to the core, we darkies are going to die of Aids, strus bob.
    I can’t judge Aaron’s wife for being in that kind of marriage where she is cleary being disrespected and even knows mara this is too much bathong. She must give up all the perks of being a WaG and develop some dignity then leave that unhealthy marriage and get a job if she does not have one.     Hey Jc readers and Bloggers,
    When I read about Aaron marrying a woman here whilst living with another in the UK, I wasn’ so surprised.
    I met Aaron in the UK in 04 and because I had been so out of touch with SA affairs, had no clue who he was but he wasted no time in bringing me up to speed. He is no oil painting so I must admit being a premier league player and bafana captain “got him in”. He was absolutely nice and very new money like so I always got everything I wanted…frequent flights to Manchester (I lived in LDN) and general pocket money. Lights started coming on when on my 3rd visit he still didn’t take me to his house but a hotel. He always made the excuse that he lived far from town so it be a schlep for us to stay hit the town at night plus they always camped wherever they playing bladi blah….
    I chose to believe him, after all,he never hid me. We went to every parties and clubs together…he even paid for me to join him for a couple of bafana camps, afcon qualifier and a Mandela cup. This time (with the help of one of the teams’ officials) I was hidden–because they are not allowed to have women in camp ofcos. I’d then show face after the game. After SA games, we always had an entourage…(give the girl some bells I hear you say…lol)
    Well, the bells started ringing loud and clear when everytime he went to the Vaal, he wouldn’t answer the phone at night or he would and play the “I can’t hear you”. next time I’d try calling, the phone would off. And the I saw a picture f a new born baby as his screen saver and when i asked whose baby it was, he said it was his sister’s baby….was first time i heard about this sister! A couple of months later i called him in manchester and i heard a baby cry, asked whose baby it was….told me i was hearing things!
    Anyhow, since i knew i am not one to just “hear things”, the nex time i saw him, i helped myself to his phone hoping to find out the deal about this baby. Well, well….I think I stopped reading the texts at girl no 20. texts from “you used me….” to explcits such as one exhibit here (Thabang). My tummy turned but amazing I wasn’t even surprised. I didn’t even confront him…I mean where do you start?! I did what I knew i had to and gave the “deauces sign” before he gave me “juices”.
    Now that I’ve grown up and have had more life experiences, I know the guy is not to blame, he is just eating what is dished to him. We throw ourselves at these guys and hope to be “the one”. I know if he was a banker, i wouldn’t hae dated him. I was at university at the time but still, we were on completely didfferent levels, intellectually, I had to step down the ladder a few notches so he could look into my eyes!
    So all in all, I am glad I ultimately made the right decision. I have a 9-5, can afford to fly myslef almost anywhere in the world and most important I have a partner who fits me like a glove.
