Spotted: Brutal Fruit SweetDreams Party

Once again, Friday night was spent at Monte Casino where Dream Girls teamed up with Brutal Fruit for a pyjama party which was hosted by your girl “B”. The theme was “you wear your pyjamas not dibono out” (I’m sure the butt froze because it was a cold night) or bvd’s. Only irrelevant people didn’t stick to the theme so that was not really a biggie.

I actually thought the pyjamas were supposed to be worn after watching Dream Girls but a lot of people watched the show wearing their PJ’s, I guess I didn’t get the exact memo. Because of the competition Brutal Fruit ran, there were a lot of random people than celebs or perhaps it was not easy to spot them because it was too packed. Here are the few celebs I managed to spot.


Actor, Junior Singo was there and stuck to the theme in a white gown.


Babalwa Rasane and friend. So I’m guessing they didn’t get the memo or they don’t wear PJ’s at all.


Actress and presenter Zinzi Zungu


Vicky Visagie and his soon to be hubby Gert Johan Coetzee. Umm… nice pyjamas.


Rami Chuene looking good in a pink gown.


Bonang also looked so pretty in her pj’s.


Lebo Toko who played the role of C.C White in Dream Girls.


Kiki (Nomkikizelo) was also looking pretty. Ah I love my “mom”…

    Kwaaaa @ I love my mom. WOW! Kiki goes to bed looking so sexy, I like. I prefer that too. And maybe some days, especially when it’s hot, some pyjama shorts.

    Again, I think many celebrities had gone to Cape Town for the jazz festival, probably why there were not many.

    Speaking of the festival, what a blast I had. The hospitality villages are always nice, but this time around, it was even more buck. Totally loved it. Although sometimes it’s not that much fun hanging with the government types. Penny did great being a host at the Samsung Jazz Lounge at the Fire And Ice Hotel. Went there after the shows on Friday night.

    And as usual di groupies at the Pepper Club hotel where the artists were staying were in full force. And some shenanigans that took place at the jamming sessions khona at the hotel. WOW! Some people don’t respect themselves.
