The (Depressing) PSL Status Update

March 8, 2011 by

In case you were wondering what the latest is in PSL Standings… Here’s an update.

*sigh*

How depressing is this table!

At least my team is guaranteed a win when they come back… Supersport might as well just give us those 3 points. I won’t lie and say I’ll be watching them though, my eyes will be on the Pirates vs Ajax

And the reasons why the PSL games will only be played then is the Nedbank Cup. Here are the fixtures…

Will Bidvest Wits retain their title? We’ll see… but mina I just want this Nedbank Cup thingy to end so we can watch the PSL in peace… #deathby interruptions…

I doubt if chiefs will win that game, statistics tells us that we are more likely to play draw than winning.

Pirates just needs to win n draw, we cannot afford to lose any games. though the match against ajax is gonna be tough. bhakajuju mazishe

  11. kakapana on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 8:29 am

@ Zida there are six games left.

As much as I would love to see Ajax lifting the trophy come end of the season, but I have a feeling that it will end up in Chloorkop, the prodigal son is back and he means business.

  12. kakapana on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 8:33 am

Oh greeting to all the Arsenal (Kiki) fans….kwa kwa kwa to think that some of you actually thought that the gunners might cause an upset izolo….awu shame bandla.

there can only be one “surprise” team of the tournament and that’s Tottenham.

speaking of which can Harry Redknapp play umntungwa already!!

  13. kakapana on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 8:38 am

@ Miss Thang with slimcut being out for the rest of the season, its safe to say that we can forget about winning the league any time soon.

phela u Senzo is a joke and if its wasn’t for his defenders (especially Mahamutsa and Jele) then we could have easily lost most of the games that he’s been a goalie.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again Pirates needs to buy one good goalkeeper and a striker.

the Prodigal son really means business Kakapana as if he is tryin to prove a point..

I hope Ajax takes the trophy, given ma team is not serious enought to get 3 points.

I was so happy for Barca last night..

  15. Biskiti on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 8:59 am

Quick question, is Real Madrid FC (playing Amazulu today) the same team as that one from Europe?

  16. Mmaditaba on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 9:03 am

Amazinyo ayelo have a good chance of coming bk when they play against Supersport. While thina with this dead goalkeeper of ours need to ukucatha, pray and fast ukhuthi come Saturday idefence yethu ibe istr0ng otherwise sinyele yiAJAX…eish i fear with Mpela back, Sundowners chances of taking the cup are increasing!

  17. LeeM on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 9:21 am

Amazulu and Real Madrid FC in the Nedbank Cup – is this for real??? do we have another Real Madrid in SA? #ihavenever

I saw this fixture on Dstv and laughed it off as a mistake, enlighten me guys

  18. kakapana on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 9:50 am

@ Biskiti and LeeM no, it’s not the “real” Real Madrid lol..

Dont know why, but these smalanyana teams have a tendency of stealing international team names.

I’m sure if someone had to bring it to their (the real Real Madrid) attention, then they’d be hell to pay for the fake Real Madrid.

  19. kakapana on Wed, 9th Mar 2011 9:53 am

Yazi mina I dont care about Saturday’s game, vele nje i Sundowns will win, phela they cant lose three games against us in one season.

  25. Nalizo on Thu, 10th Mar 2011 9:22 am

Eish, these PSL standings are tight.
There are absolutely no guarantees when it comes to the Top 4.
Although Pirates has a small advantage, the other 3 teams can turn things around.

    May the best team win.

  26. kakapana on Thu, 10th Mar 2011 9:49 am
