In 2005 a 16 year old teenager by the name of Chris brown graced our screens and radios with his irresistible looks, princely face and charismatic vocals and I remember all the girls (and a few guys) were in awe of him. He was the new “it” guy (Justin Bieber who?) who had so much talent and star quality that often saw him being cited to Michael Jackson and The King on R&B Usher Raymond, yet in 2011 when you mention his name one thinks of  all his scandals and outrages  he’s been implicated in the past couple of years. So what went wrong?

The Rihanna incident

This is one episode of his life that the media, his fans and Rihtards *coughs* I mean Rihanna fans will never forget. It remains a controversial topic so I chose not to add my personal views of the matter yet I’ll say this “Mr. Brown made a huge mistake, paid for it, apologised to Rihanna and his fans so let’s move on!”

The Raz B Homophobic comments

“@RazB2K n*gga you want attention! Grow up n*gga!!! D*ck in the booty *ss little boy.:Tell me this @RazB2K!! Why when the money was coming in you weren’t complaining about getting butt-plugged! #homothug!!!”

These were some of the things that CB said to Razb on twitter yet again he apologized for it and said I paraphrase “I am not a homophobe he is impolite!”

Good Morning America Scene

Recently the star was involved in another embarrassing confrontation when the show’s host asked him about the Rihanna incident and his restraining order. CB threw DIVA tantrum that left the show’s producers thinking “who the hell is Naomi Campbell?! Chris clearly didn’t enjoy being interrogated about this especially since it’s about the millionth time so he threw an object that broke a window and left the studio shirtless. (Sighs)


So there are some who might despise Chris brown , can’t stand his music and style but they must ‘JBS’ and accept his mistakes  as one thing will always remain the same whether you like him or not-he is a gifted triple threat whose talent is unstoppable and with the release of his latest album F.A.M.E, this young man aint going nowhere!

    Chris Brown is not a troubled man,the media would like us to have that perception of him the same way,they are quick to go down the “they were being confrontational I felt threatened” ish,when a black person states their opinion in an assertive manner and refuses to go down the coconut route.

    I also watched that interview and that silly woman made the whole thing about that Rhiana incident…very distasteful interviewing skills by someone clearly desperate to get their 5 minutes of fame.

    I just think they are people who are now just happy seeing him stay at the bottom and so they keep flogging a dead horse

    Agg shame Chris, when will Popstars everlearn that everything about them is image & once that gets tainted your gone irrispective of how talented you are.

    Michael Jaksons sales were never the same after the alegations of him sleeping with kids. R-Kelly never survived the Sex Tape(which I watched a COUPLE of times) with an underage girl.

    Chris should just focus on singing hooks for other artist because his career is finished.

    Death by someone saying his music career is finished… The album is already going to sell 70% of the total number of albums he released in Dec 09 in the upcoming week! Now tell me who’s finished. Obviously sales will never be the same but the charts are definitely NOT saying his career is finished. People focus too much on the negative press and forget that despite all that’s happening, some people are actually able to see through the bias of the mass media.

    Sure, I know he has got serious anger management issues that he needs to tackle but the music prevails.

I think he could have even gone for the jagular if he wanted for the things that mad boy said about him and the implications of those things. A person can only take so much of being trampled on and i dont blame Chris for THAT particular tweet, he coulda done worse.

    And again, GMA and evryone overexagerated this recent outburst because 1. he was professional enough to endure those questions even when she could see he was uncomfortable she continued…nxa. Secondly, he went on to perform as he was supposed to even though he was disturbed. Thirdly, i feel for the poor* boy so much i understand why after all that time of holding up the anger and frastration since the interview he went on to hit something…he should have hit a wall le yena mara…i just hope that he immedietly went to talk to his therapist, no one should be that angry, but its how can one not get that angry when the whole world is ganging on him.

    heish mara, the fisrt pic (so owwwww cute!) compared to the last one (so scary)…haai shem, yaa, i hope this isnt a reflection of how he has degenerated inside.

    Maybe he should take time out and not release an album for a while,…when he returns, his fans will still appreciate his work, even if there wont be mass appeal he’d be doing it for the love of music and his fans. Something i appreciate about about the likes of Raphael Saadiq. After a long break since tony toni tone and lucey poearl, he came back …with good…great music, but he does it for love and for the few (on the world scale) people who appreciates it and he seems to sleep well at night….
