What is it with this trend of celebs posing nude during their pregnancies? Am I missing something here?
I am in no ways saying women shouldn’t try to keep up their sexiness during those long nine months, but in respect of the young life that’s growing inside you, can you please keep your damn clothes on.
The latest to join this club of females shedding off their clothes is my imaginary God-Mother Mariah Carey.
Lord knows I love this woman, but sometimes the things she does, just leave me going; “TJO!” *In BS’s voice*
Many have gone this route: I stand to be corrected, but I believe Demi Moore was the first female to pose nude whilst heavily pregnant, in the early 90s and ever since, the baby porn flood gates were opened.
From Britney Spears to Christina Aguilera and even our very own Dineo Ranaka.
Mariah has never been one fond of clothes, the minute she fled from her abusive ex-husband Tommy Mottola she shed all her off clothes and has never cared about being warm, even in the harshest of winters. We have learned to love and accept her like that but now that she’s 41 and pregnant, I had hoped that I would see some changes… But No! She goes even more naked than she has ever been. *SMH*
Does this woman realize that in some White trailer parks, dodgy townships and some coloured neighbourHOODS, she is actually old enough to be someone’s GRANDMOTHER!
(side-note – I did cover everyone right? Whites, Blacks and coloureds…I don’t want to be Kuli Roberted. All the other in-between races, should just chill. We’ll get to them soon). Oh Mariah! Mariah!
At least Britney was in her early twenties, so she can be excused.
and Christina does everything that Britney does, so no surprises there.
And Dineo, well… she’s never been one to stick conventions, so I will also excuse her.
And no people, she was not “powdering her nose” when she decided to do that shoot. I know how malicious you people can be.
But Mariah, No Excuses! No one wants to see a naked Sgogwana prancing around with a belly carrying twins. Gogo just needs to grow up!

What’s more disgusting is someone who does porn movies when they r preggo’s or those who work as strippers or prostitutes. I wouldn’t pose naked like that tho but I like these nude covers, I see nothin wrong

These pictures are for ur room dividers and headboards in the bedroom next to ur stretchmark cream! I think is a personal thing mara,to each is its own.
Personally I think Mariah is not a 100% all there! She doesn’t act or coversate her age,its like MJ. The whole missing their childhood issue. Poor Nick,soon she’ll be asking him to tsasa her arthitis cream n ish!

But Zamani, Mariah still looks good, so it’s not fair to give the others a pass because they are young. She looks better than many 2O-somethings I’ve seen. And like you said, we know Mimi is not your usual 40-something with her love for everything 12 years old. Well, except her love for the wine. Wait, maybe she likes the 12-year old wines too. Hmmm.
Anyway, I think if it’s done tastefully it’s ok. And shows some confidence for your body and your own skin.

Mariah is Hot! Finish and klaar. I think she looks the same age as Beyonce if not younger. I dont know why people would want to see someone pregnant’s bare stomach, it jst reminds me of umkhaba. Id even forgotten Britney has kids. Mariah has hot legs (even though they seem to be getting fatter). When looking at nude women u dnt focus on the stomach. These big stomachs are distractions.

This kinda reminds me of when Nestum was interviewed by a certain mag back in the day when she was still famous. She criticized the late TK Mhinga (RIP) who then had recently posed nude for some mag while pregnant. She said her grandma taught her well and there was no way she’d be caught dead doing what TK did bcoz it says a lot about how she was brought up. I must admit that it created beef btwn the two,what Nestum said didn’t go down well with TK.
