Has a stranger ever walked up to you and told you exactly where you’re from and what you do? They are not Pastor Mboro or Sangoma’s, it’s not because they know you personally, it’s because what we put on says so much about who we are and where we are from.

9) Floral shirt tucked in Armani Jeans = ezase Durban.

10 ) Shirt, jeans, blazer and bow tie = older gay gentleman *hides in @…….. Closet*

11)Top worn as dress = a jezabel from Auckland Park, Westdene.

12) Little Black Dress and carvella = Meadowlands Mshoza.

13) Nike from head to toe = Meadowlands kleva.

14) Sunglasses in a night club =Douchebag from Fourways.

15) Shiny Suit = Gospel singer.

16) Denim skirt, pantyhose and converse all stars = dagga smoking cherrie from Yeoville.

18) Skinny jeans tucked into high tops or ankle boots with cardigan’s and shirts = Cape Town guys, gay and straight

19) Females in colorful mini dresses and questionable hairstyles and guys in scarves, t-shirts, panama hat and jeans = Generations extras.

20) Squeezed in one size small jeans, helmet like hairstyle, fake oversize eye lashes and ivory manicure = Traffic cop from Soweto.

21) Levis 5O1 in indigo blue or black, army green Levi’s muscle CC monogramed carvella = Northwest

    My aunt bought me Carvella for my 21st birthday -in red, nogal. They spent a month in the box occasionally coming out when I’d walk in the house with them trying to convince myself they weren’t that bad. When I finally realised I can’t dzeal, I took them back to the shop and exchanged them for a pair heels. i just couldn’t bring myself to like those shoes, shem. Never told my aunt though, it would have broke her heart.

    I just grew up not liking carvella and All Stars..they just look so not good to me….even the thing of being slave for designer labels..it’s not my thing..just love my clothes simple yet smart and fahionable.

    Apparently here in Limpopo Pedis are in majority when it comes to owning Carvella..this lady colleague of mine has four different types of carvellas.
