About The Awards:
* The very best of South Africa’s on-air and behind the scenes radio talent is recognised in the MTN Radio Awards (South Africa) that started in 2010
* The inclusion of community stations this year ensures that radio talent in all areas receives its due recognition, and that talented producers and presenters at commercial stations can rightfully take their place beside their award-winning commercial counterparts
* The MTN Radio Awards wants to ensure that commercial stations are fulfilling their mandates in making a contribution to, and having a positive effect on the lives of their listeners
* In the long term, Future Group plans to take the event to other major African markets
* The MTN Radio Awards will be held in conjunction with The Journal – South Africa’s leading specialist marketing title edited by well-known television anchor Jeremy Maggs, a respected former radio broadcaster
* These Awards have the full support of the country’s major commercial and public service radio players, including the SABC, Primedia Broadcasting, Kagiso Broadcasting, African Media Entertainment(AME), and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).

Congrats to all the winners. Good to see some diversity in the winners’ list. Extra happy for Tbose and Fresh.
That Zandile, I think she’s the one fined or to be fined R60k for letting Linda promote his personal business interests on Ukhozi.

t’hihhihiii @Apeezii…tltltllll….gosh im so ticklish today!!
@Alikho, i heard Udo saying that “the intries this year had doubled”, perhaps some radio stations are still to catch the wave of this wards coz they are farely new?
Otherwise…im very very happy for Primedia…they do a great great job, i trully appreciate their work, the radio and outside of radio work. 702, Highveld….time spent outside of joburg are hard coz i miss them.
Hopefully next year Capricon Fm will feature…

Yay to Simon Ramafalo of Thobela FM and Super Fantastic Breakfast of Radio 2000…………the boring part about awards is that if they get biased to one organization or individual…you will see that name appearing all over the list of winners..but congrats to all winners.
