Format: Jam Alley Crew vs Crew

Jam Alley Crew vs Crew will come complete with a brand new look, new set, new format, and new games for the contestants.
It is called Crew vs Crew because there are now 2 crews (teams) consisting of 5 friends going up against each other. The audience will also be split into 2 groups and assigned to cheer for a specific crew. The winning crew stands a chance to win a R10 000 cash prize.
The format of the new show is divided into 3 main segments; Guest Performance, Performance Challenges (karaoke, freestyle and dance style), and Buzzer Quiz. There will be prizes for members of the audience as well!
Jam Alley Crew vs Crew, hosted by Slikour starts on SABC1 Mzansi Fo Sho – this Friday 20 May 2011, at 18:30.

I stopped watching Jam Alley donkey years ago, but i will watch this Crew vs Crew for curiosity sake aswel.

Yes he did audition. T-bo Touch was the initial presenter, then there were two (a guy and a girl) then for some reason it was one. Touch pulled out cos of his commitment at Metro, ay kodwa usincedile he’s wack as a TV presenter. Pearl Moody has never been thepresenter – she had also auditioned though

Is it just me or the Kasi image has lost value, all the shows are going for the American/Coconut feel, LIVE with Sizwe, METRO with Touch, the whole of YFM, now Jam Alley with Sliour, is the AMA KIP KIP Generation realy that lucrative of a market? The Zola’s & the DJ Sbu’s of this world seam to have fallen from grace.
I just wished they renamed Jam Alley instead of ruining a good legacy…after all the Kwaito artists who were introduced by Jam Alley to us, it is just shameful to go Coconut.

NOW I get it coz the other time I just couldnt wrap my head around it. I dont normally watch Jam Alley unless someone reminds me about it or Im at my aunt’s place… I just love the karaoke part where they bhimba. That segment give me LIFE!! I love laughing at people who sing off-key coz nami I cant sing so nje we’re on the same boat he hre he.
