Phelo Bala’s “Making The Band”

Phelo Bala, who is Loyiso and Zwai Bala’s younger brother (Bala Brothers) is releasing his self-titled album in June 2011 and he’s looking for band members!
PheloB (as he calls himself) is looking for young, determined musicians to be part of his new band and the successful musicians will get to perform with him at his album listening session and launch taking place in June.
The panel of judges include the Bala Brothers (Zwai, Loyiso and Phelo) and Musical Director Jaydine Barron. The band will consist of:
- 1 x Drummer
- 1 x Bassist
- 1 x Guitarist
- 1 x Keyboardist
- 2 x Backing Vocalists
A basic backline will be provided for the auditions but please bring your own guitar, bass guitar, snare drums and cymbals. Musicians are welcome to bring their own keyboard.
The auditions will take place on Tuesday 31 May 2011 from 9am till 5pm at the National School of the Arts in Braamfontein.
If you have what it takes to participate in the auditions, send your CV to Gerhard@BalaBrothers.co.za and you will receive a song that you will perform in front of the judges. You may also be requested to perform a solo piece of your choice. Only a limited number of candidates will be accepted to audition. Do not delay and send your CV today.

Who ever wrote the brief/press release deleted the part where it says the band members had to have strong jaw lines and chiselled bodies so the young one can ogle to his heart’s content. *hides at Drakensburg Boys High*

I cant wait coz from the songs I heard when he first working on the album, it was sounding too good. Its on some international standard. I hope he’ll receive the support that his brothers has.

Was on a flight with him from PE. I dont know if his skin is super flawless or if he uses good make up. He is so neat. Men like that scare. Kudos to him for having the look and the sound. I would kill for skin like that

Zida ka di subtle expose’…lol. But you are right, makeup has very little to do with his feminenity. He is definitely the best looking Bala Brother, and has a beautiful sound to him.
