    2nd… Whoop whoop

My main concern is my health. Since Monday, whenever i eat i vomit the food back. The only things my digestive system can take are soft drinks. (u can imagine how malnourished i am)

So i wanna hear from u guys before i drag myself to a Dr.
Am i having an eating disoder? Like bulimia or anorexia or any other?

    HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Thanks to her I am a certified cheerleader as Nkey would put it, I was an hour late to work this morning but I just dont give a damn.*Gringing from ear to ear*. What caught my eye in the news this week was the story of three kids whow were found dead in a freezer in Dundee, that broke my heart.

  21. lwandie on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:11 am

Aww @ flower hang in there, life can be hectic and it will probably get worse before it finally gets better,….try to break it all down to levels that you can deal with so that its not too overwhelming for you and if there is other family that can help out while you sort out your situation then try talking to them.

J.C baby shower for Ms Nonthle!!,wow you’ve done well to cope with school and pregnancy.

@ jaharah it can’t be an eating disorder because you are not inducing that vomiting yourself. Best just get yourself to your GP before us Google doctors kill you with a wrong diagnosis lol.

I’m undoing braids this morning not fun at all.My project this year is growing my natural hair lol going all organic and environmentally friendly …..

  22. Botshelo on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:12 am

  24. Lehakoe on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:14 am

Ok so I went to an interview last week. And there I was answering diligently and all-with a few laughs inbetween. Hahahahaaa’s. Me and the guy finish and he asks me to wait for him at the reception area. I wait and when he comes he walks me to the parking lot, once there he tells me that he intends to recommend me for the post, will put good word out for me when discussing with his seniors and then asks me for my numbers.

Ha! :surprised: Now I really didn’t know what to do, was confused so I give him my numbers. *don’t judge* He sends a msg later on that day saying that he’s been thinking about me since we “spoke”; thinks I’m intelligent and beautiful and would like to get to know me on a personal level.
I’ve been avoiding his calls and really don’t know what to do. My first instinct is to just tell him off because I really am not even in the slightest bit interested in him. My other side tells me to play along long enough till I get that call that says the job is mine, because my current situation ayijabulisi nix.

Everyone wants a better pay at a big corporate that looks good on your CV but I really dnt feel that its fair I am being put in a position where I have to compromise my values. I went in there with only my credentials to speak for me and end up feeling like a jezabel. Hay these men are so unfair.

  25. Mapakisha on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:14 am

Kim K’s engagement caught my attention this week. I hope they live happily ever after.
Jub Jub & KK going @ each other too.. just childish.
    Mrs A Sisulu’s passing on..
Plus the new Mandla Lamba (forgot his name), the guy who threw a 26th on a yatch & spent close to a milli. Lets hope his skeletons don’t have lefu la ho wa, just now they fall outta the closet.

  26. Kusihlwa on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:15 am

@Nthoentle you are my shero, studying and getting ready for baby at the same time that is amazing. *hands you a wonder women award* @Jahara, it could be ulcers,it happend to me before I was diagnosed by a DR that is if its not pregnancy. @Flower, wow I am sorry gal but the Lord does not give us more than we can handle, try this site wwww.jobrapido.co.za or http://www.bizcommunity.com and register your CV on http://www.quest.co.za they specialise in finance jobs and they call you as soon as you register your qualifications to set up interviews for you.

  27. sefula on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:18 am

I also agree with u guys saying @Softy deserves an award for commenter of the week. Tjo,i was so gobsmacked i couldnt even bring my fingers to do the typing, hence i refrained from commenting.

Ladies & gentlemen,it’s my pleasure to present the BLOGGER OF THE WEEK award…

This award honours the person who has the ability to keep bloggers coming for more, the person who embraces the concept of sharing knowledge
…& that person is none other than our very own fierce, fearless, funky, fabulous &sexy @Softnfree.

    Halala @Kusihlwa. Tap that!

  31. Botshelo on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:24 am

What caught my attention is how SnF is knowlesgeable in izinto zo cansi, and I want to believe that it is not on paper or our screens only but has expirience to back it all up

  32. samlicious on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:30 am

    Good morning you all.

Guys lets have a moment of silence for the Great mama Albertina Sisulu. May your soul rest in peace mama, you will be greatly missed by South Africa and the world beyond.

  33. Mabhebeza on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:32 am

@Flower, sorry girl but am sure God will provide you with a job very soon.

    RIP Mam’Albertina Sisulu.

I was so pissed off on Wednesday. A friend of mine was supposed to go to the “I want to sing gospel” auditions which were to be on 04 May (as adevertised) here in PE…but unbeknown, the auditions where held the previous day (03 May). Why the misinformation?? I was mad because my friend has loads of talent and she would have blown Lindelani away with that voice of hers – NXA!!

Ohhh I’m loving Muvhango lately! I’m so impressed with the improvement. That KK/Meme storyline, the love-triangle (or is it square or circle?) ya Azwindini-Susan-Pfuluwani-Sundani – TJO! Hay’ Generations could learn a thing or two from Muvhango shame.

    Happy Friday y’all!!! :)

  34. Mabhebeza on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:39 am

@Lehakoe, if I were you I would flirt around with this dude, make it seem as if I want him. As soon as I get the desired job, and that contract is signed, I’ll drop him like a hot potato and tell him to buzz off.

  35. softnfree on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:46 am

    #humbled face#
    :)
    Thank you guys..

  36. popeye on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:46 am

What caught my attention was the story of three kids who frozze to death.

  37. Vesa on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:47 am

Tjo Lehakoe, that’s a dilemma indeed! But what if brothers doesn’t even have influence over the decision…..on the other hand, he could have influence of the decision to hire. It’s really not fair on you….

  38. Zida on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:47 am

BS, I jumped up and down upon learning my baby, Mtungwa, is in the country. And then when he was Marawa’s guest on his show all I could do was stare at the screen while studying every part of his face. And that young English (as in England) accent of his made my uterus excited to the core. Oh my, I’m getting moist below just thinking about it.

Also, on Bob’s show, I saw Prince Boateng do one of the best MJ impressions I’ve ever seen. Boy has gone serious moves on him. I was utterly impressed.

Other story, a sad one needless to say, I heard whispers that Shift’s Bongani is on his death bed. Poor guy. Rap it up kids. #justsaying

  39. Zida on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:47 am

    *wrap* I mean.

  40. Mabhebeza on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:48 am

I was so pissed off on Wednesday. A friend of mine was supposed to go to the “I want to sing gospel” auditions which were to be on 01 June(as adevertised) here in PE…but unbeknown, the auditions where held the previous day (31 May). Why the misinformation?? I was mad because my friend has loads of talent and she would have blown Lindelani away with that voice of hers – NXA!!
    >>>> wrong dates on my previous post (#blondemoment)

  41. popeye on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:51 am

‘WOW’ Softy loving your gravator, It looks so magical

  42. Vesa on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:53 am

@mabhebeza, what if brothers will be a direct reporting line and will make her working life miserable after being dropped off like a hot potato?

Nobody is going to believe her story when she starts crying foul…people will even go as far as saying you got the job cause you sika’d likheke.

  43. Mabhebeza on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:55 am

Oh shame man, poor Bongani. I could see he was not well at all…hope he gets better soon.

  44. Siyamthanda on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:55 am

@Mapakisha its Jabulani Ngcobo or something like that (The young millionaire) and people who know him bathi he teaches people how to trade on the stock exchange and his courses go up to R5k per course and you also have to buy some software from him which also costs around that region R5k so no wonder hes rolling in it, mara bare leyena tax man emo salla morago! Kante when will these people ever learn if you flaunt your money like that you draw attention to yourself worse if o sa patale ledi tax tsa gago bloody idiots just like the Mpisane’s SARS WAG VIR JOU PAPA.

  45. softnfree on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:55 am

    Eish Lehakoe

I wish women could talk more and more about this dilemma more so the ones who have been through this experience, that way it would give us tricks/tips and hits of how to deal with corporate predators who take advantage of opportunity seekers vulnerability.

  46. samlicious on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 9:56 am

Iyho @Mabhebeza talk about Muvhango girl, its hot like itapile kwimbiza kapens. Jonbga I think Duma kaNdlovu hired new rwriters. Shame finally as I was giving up on welfare TV, uMuvhango took another turn. I bow to you Mr Ndlovu well done butiza.

@ Flower babes uThixo usivile isikhalo sakho, he is going to provide for you and your siblings. Have faith in him and his wonderful works and he will give everything you think you lost, and even more. Talking from experience, last year I was being retrenched and few weeks pregnant. My world was crumbling right infront of my eyes. But God provided and I got a job just before I could finish off my notice period on my other company. Moral of the story is, beka ithemba lakho kuye. This is not your struggle but his and he is going to provide.

Ta @ popoye, I’m sure that’s how Nthoentle looks by now.
    #warm hug to Nthoentle#

@Siya the trick of darkie getting super rich instantly will forever raise brows accompanied with envy

How I wish these newly wealthy folk (irrespective of how they acquired they moola) would follow suit in the living and enjoying your money through the likes of motsepes and the Ramaphosa’s

But hey to each of its own!

  50. Mabhebeza on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:04 am

    @Vesa, hay’ ku-tough!
@Lehakoe, follow your instincts (gut-feeling) girl. If you feel that flirting and/or sleeping with the guy would compromise your values, then don’t do it. If the guy is sincere enough and interested in you for reall, you will get the job due to your merits (and not because how great you are in bed). But, if yu wanna give “it” to him, then do so girl – many people have slept themselves to the top anyway – it’s a practice that has been in existence long before you were born.

    Good luck…

  51. samlicious on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:05 am

@ Manny iyho! scary staff babes. Am glad your friend is negative.

  53. samlicious on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:12 am

@ Flower, girl never something that is going demoralise you. Sleeping your way to the top is never an option, but an easy way out. In life nothing was meant to be easy. What kind of an example will you be to your siblings. Sana you are going to get a job and your life be back on track. In the name of the high and Mighty it will happen.

  58. Lehakoe on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:19 am

Mabhebheza i thought of that but its just so contrary to my personality, I just find him repulsive nje.
@Vesa, imagine nje seeing him everyday and him making life unbearable for me. If I entertain him, how much longer will I have to keep it up just so I’m always on his good books.
@Softy, I get even more pissed thinking about the personal questions he asked which were disguised as questions on my ‘interpersonal skills’. The lights should have gone on when he asked if I was in a relationship. To which I answered ‘No’. kanti inja has ulterior motives.

  59. manny on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:20 am

    @lady gaga ubuyaphi sis omuhle?

  60. Vesa on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:23 am

What also caught my attention is 16 year old Nyasha Matonhodze, whose parents are from Zimbabwe, who has been chosen as the new face Louis Vuitton !!!

  61. Vesa on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:26 am

The lights should have gone on when he asked if I was in a relationship. To which I answered ‘No’. kanti inja has ulterior motives.
@ Lehakoe, Haaibo…..he asked you this in an interview? So he was the only person interviewing you?

  62. softnfree on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:27 am

And Lehakoe I personally think that guy is a predator who uses his position or presence in the company to lure women into sleeping with him.

I think he has an inferior complex and has done this before countless times leading him to be swift, phony and smooth which might come across as sincere to those who are desperate enough not to see through his slimy skin

If indeed he thought u were this intelligent and deserving of the job and all the foetsie foetsie nonsense he fed u , WHY couldn’t he wait until u get the job then reminisce with u about he knew u were gonna get the job and how much he believed in u.

Predators like him makes me so sick its actually saddening.

  63. manny on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:29 am

@Lehakoe nika u ntanga i khekhe and get the Job and them tell him the deal is off or you will get him fired for sexual harrasment….
if i was a chick i would have the best Job in town i tell you ..that thing is talent use it to your advantage

@Flower- God will open a door gal, dont u worry

  66. Fezzy on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:34 am

@Manny…I am so happy for ur friend…atleast akamsulelanga.

  67. Lehakoe on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:34 am

@lwandie and toni. I can tell you that going natural was the best decision ever. I shaved it all off Feb last year and now have 15cm ‘fro(yes, I measure it). What I notice was that most of these hair products aimed at black hair are really kak. I use Tresemme Naturals to wash my hair. I use the Say yes to Cucumbers leave-in conditioner and natural oils(coconut, olive, avocado) to moisturise.

@Toni ,i’ve eliminated products with mineral oil, parabens, silicone. And dnt use shampoo with sulphates.

  68. popeye on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:42 am

Tjo manny, you sure not the first guy I heard saying that, not all girls have their cakes on their foreheads. Wena Lehakoe stay away from that fool cause before you even pull your panties up the whole office would know

  69. Lehakoe on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:48 am

Lol Manny. Best job in town…. Hahahaha
Vesa, it was just me and him, weird because it’s usually a panel…*shrugs*. Softy you are right. Looking at him you so wouldn’t think he’s that type. He’s soft spoken and seems really sincere. I’ve thought about why he even had to mention his intention to recommend me for the job. It’s almost as if o re I’m giving you this, so you owe me.

  70. Lady gaga on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:49 am

  73. kakapana on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:55 am

what also caught my eye was news that the crucial Bafana (can we still call them that??)game might not be broadcast on SABC…surprise surprise

Really SAFA should just give all the football rights to Supersport.

  74. mbulela on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 10:55 am

@flower, said a prayer for you.
@softnfree, what exactly is this award off your for?i must be missing something.
@Lehakoe,you’ve already said it is against your values,so don’t do it.once you cross that line it is difficult to get back.you have a job presently,so it is not like your world will cave in if you don’t get this job.
The guy has no genuine interest in you.if he did he would have detached his influence on the job from his liking you.
you might hate yourself if you sleep with him and not get the job.
you could say no to him and still get the job.
if he is like me and you were good at the interview it would be hard for him not to recommend you.

    Respect to mama Sisulu.
You were and even in death still are a heroine.

@Nkey, you seem to have a thing for Carribeans.Well done.

    What caught my attention:
That Anty Oprah is coming to South Africa soon, She will be visiting the University of Freestate because she is impressed by the transformation in that University. O_o….
Now…the Reits four case aside…The University of Free State?…Transformed?… Realy?….News to my ears, past my ears straight to Oprah’s ears in Chicaco.
Or is it realy transformed unbeknown to some of us?

Second thing thats been working my brain up is the confussion i have regarding these three JC characters whose comments i mostly enjoy. I confuse them so i dont have a profile for each, they are like 3 in one profile: Mamamia, Mmaditaba le Mapakisha. I dunno how im gonna solve this one…

@ LAdyM if we let is slide when then are we going to acknowledge and celebrate it??

It’s not like Pirates or any other team for that matter will win a treble next season.

This is not only a celebration for Pirates and their fans but for the PSL and all soccer loving people out there seeing that this is a first since the inception of the PSL

I was just noting how JC has been very hush hush about the whole thing.

I’m sure you were shortlisted because they saw a potential in you just by looking at your cv. Yes the guy may have an influence in the decision making, especially since he was the only 1 involved. However, if he really likes you, he will still recommend you.

@Lehakoe, dont do it.Once while attending a music festival I needed to interview this American singer and he didnt pitch for the press conference because of some Safari trip but my editors wanted that story for my column. Then this guy who was organising the conference offered to get me backstage and I was elated. He asked for my number and I get it to him. He found out which hotel I was staying in for the event as his company was teh one taht booked teh venue for us journalists and buzzed himself up.He knocked at the hotel and when I opende the door he lrt himself. In panic mode I stood by the door ready to exit while he made himself comfortable on my bed. When I told him that I am not comfortable with this he appologised and I led him out of the room. while we were going down teh lift he put his hand around my body from behind and I knocked him with my elbow and acted like it was a mistake. Safe to say that I never got back stage or the story but I still haev my dignity. *sorry for the blog within a blog*

U partnisha wami showed me these babies and almost attacked them saying its his responsibility ukubathethisa and I stopped him. I feel guilty now because he told me the reason the world is the way it is is because we turn our backs at such things eish not sure should i have let him phuthuma those girls?

I also often get tempted to say something to the youngsters of today when I see them getting up to no good, but-then ngendlela aba rude and abaphoxana ngayo it’s sometimes best not to say anything.

@Lehakoe, thanx for bringing this up, yho u’l never understand how men abuse power in the workplace.
Girl u’re ryt, strippin down to ur panties for this loser is NOT worth it. For the sake of ur dignity nje.
If i were u instead of ignoring his calls i’d pick up n let him know exactly what i think of him- in a not so rude way. Everyone who says u shud get the job on merit not by opening ur thighs is ryt shem. Clearly this guy has bedded many n maybe sum didn even get to c the entrance of the company. Yes Yes Yes to sofnfree’s award…,you killed that intersexions blog and complimented Mablerh’s valuable advice very well.

@ Toni,..I’m still a novice with natural hair and have gone through a lot of trial and errors with products,I think our black hair is as unique as our skin and somehow it takes a lot to eventually find what works for you, here’s what Ive settled for so far and it seems to work especially in terms of making my hair texture more managable.

When I have protective hair styles like braids and weaves,I use sulphur medicated spray(doesn’t smell that great though),I just find it grows my hair and stops that irritating white noting that I used to get where the braid joins the hair.

If I’m not braiding or weaving then I use Moroccan oil hair products..including their shampoo and conditioner. They feel lighter on my hair and the oil is actually absorbed into the scalp rather than some I have tried in the past that just left my head looking like its full of dewdrops.

I also stick to shampooing and conditioning once a week and deep conditioning once a fortnight.

..He probably used that line through out the day on many other intelligent well spoken ladies like yourself…and as tempting as it may be especially when the job market is so competative, I say don’t even contemplate it because stories like that hardly have happy endings.

Another thing that caught ma attention and sort of bothers me is that i’m celebrating a milestone in my life by spoiling myself and i notice that the only people cheering for me with this achievement is my bf and family.

Friends for some strange reason are quiet. A little part says maybe my friends do not want the best for me (i’m avoiding the word jealous), or they comparing themselves to me, but it’s not about them it’s about celebrating my achievements.
It is rather dissapointing because mina i support them and cheer them on and even encourage them because i want the best for them without thinking about myself.

But i tell myself it’s cool, God made it possible for me to achieve this milestone and i owe him the gratitude.

Cheers to the people who always want what is best for you and are happy when you achieve it!!

    hayi bo;

‘A trial date is expected to be set on Thursday for 12 people arrested in connection with setting a pastor alight after accusing him of using a magic penis to sleep with women. The nine men and three women, aged between 28 and 50 will appear in the Boschfontein periodical court in Mpumalanga on charges murder and arson. The villagers, among them a community induna (headman), were arrested on February 24 after Albert Malwane, a pastor of the Izwi Zion Christian Church, was burnt to death a day before. Mpumalanga police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi said that Malwane had been dragged from his one-roomed house in the Etitandini informal settlement near Jeppes Reef south of Malalane and taken to a hill, where he was set alight.

‘Malwane’s house was also burnt and his wife and daughter went into hiding. Community members had accused him of talking to animals and using an invisible penis to sleep with women in the informal settlement. They also accused his wife of turning into a snail and terrorising the community’

  163. kakapana on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 5:21 pm

Before I go I just want to say life doesnt always make sense and when we are faced with trials and tribulations we often question God or doubt him.

I recently had a few challanges in my life. A month ago, while I was on leave I found out that I had a lump in my breast.

You can only imagine how I was frecking out because the first thing that came into my mind was breast cancer and that doctors are going to chop my breast off.

After several tests, a few sleepless nights and hours of crying I was told that it was just a lump but it still had to be removed.

I had my operation and I thought all was well.

Two weeks later when I returned to work someone broke into my flat and made off with a few things.

As I was getting over the burglary, my wallet was stolen from my baag and I had just withdrawn R4 000 for my rent.

My boss made fun of me saying I should perform some ritual or something, but I thought the worst was over as all things happen in threes..right? wrong.

As I was driving around in town trying to replace all my stolen cards (which were in my wallet) I was involved in a car accident.

Some man on his bicycle decided to ride through a red robot right into my car.

I was shattered. I wanted to die. I asked God why he was punishing me and why all these things were happenign to me.

What could I have pissibly done to make him this angry with me, I windered.

I thought hey, I’m a reletively good girl, I dont drink, I dont smoke, I go to church and the list went on…..so why are all these things happening to me.

But as I was listining all the “bad” things that had happened to me I stopped and thought about all the wonderful countless things he had done for me and my family.

How he had blessed me and here I was counting the four “bad things” and doubting him.

Before I bore whoever is reading this long blog, I just want to quote a verse Romans 8 verse 28: “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

emphasises on the word EVERYTHING meaning the good and the bad but God causes them to work together for the good of those who love him.

So whatever iish that you might be going through God knows where he’s taking you and one day when HE’s plan for your life is revealed all the hard times that you went through will actually make sense.

He was actually preparing you for something great.

My humble apologies for the loooong story but something in me just said that I had to share this.

  164. kakapana on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 5:26 pm

eish sorry for the spelling errors. I hope to whoever decides to read this it actually makes sense.

@ MissAN I think the helpful advice you gave on your earlier post was actually meant for Lehakoe….so true though those SMSes will back her up in case this guy turns the tables against her.

@Toni sorry I’m not in South Africa and I normally just get the moroccan oil from my local hair shop,If you cant locate it locally,I’m sure a universal site like Amazon might help.

@ Sefula I use Sulphur 8 medicated braid spray.

A lot of West Africans swear by shear butter(the virgin one without any addatives) and their hair is amazing.I have tried relentlessly to find the authentic stuff and given up..if anyone has used it before,I’d love to hear their experience.

@ Kakapana wow, those are some experiences.Glad you came through them with your hope still in tact.

  190. Jahara on Fri, 3rd Jun 2011 11:42 pm

@Tshisa that’s a trick question. Either way u answer him he might interpret it in a bad way…depends on his views on sexuality.

Lets say u tell him uv slept with only 3 guys. He might get turned off thinkin u r inexperienced between the sheets,u wont give him the va-va-voom…

Then lets say u tell him uv slept with about 17 guys. He might still get turned off thinkin that u walk around displaying your nookie on your forehead…

@Mbulela & @Manny…my sentiments exactly. Consider productivity alone. So many co’s would lose a lot of money coz of lack of productivity.

Then consider human nature. Some might just take it to the next level & before u know it the workplace would turn into the wankplace.

    Granted,i also wouldnt do it.

@Kusihlwa I’m an UNKNOWN entertainer becos I refuse to give up my nookie. I know exactly wht u talkin abt in the entertainment industry, I’ve been in a similar situation. Its quite sad and worse if ur a woman. But I’m very content I know God gave me a talent and I will never spit on His face by sellin myself short to these soulless vultures.
