From Nonhle’s Tweets we are convinced we know her. The hate she is getting for her tweets on the social networks and blogsites, is it justified? Jay Z, EVE, KANYE WEST can brag about money on songs/ interviews nobody bats an eyelid. What happened to the love we had for the pride of Africa?

I’ve asked her to EXCLUSIVELY answer your questions as honest as possible so that we can get to understand the real person behind the tweets.

Fire away. One question per person and we’ll have the answers up on Monday. Please let’s keep it clean.

I think Nonhle’s PR/Marketing team has in a way failed her. The notion that all publicity (good or bad) is good publicity is a fallacy in the SAn context. No, I’m not a marketing specialist but surely we can tell that all these rants have made her annoying and someone that the public- at large do not want to hear abt. My little sister is not on Twitter, yet she read somewhere abt Nonhle’s rants and has consequently developed a strong dislike for her- useyamcasula.

Now there’s no ways you can tell me that all this publicity has been positive or has helped ‘build’ her ‘brand’. In my, very humble opinion, it has depleted the perception that we had of this ‘sweet Christian girl’, we now see Nonhle as an egotistical, immature, annoying rich presenter.

Anyway, my one Q for Ms Thema is-

What was the objective behind the twitter rants?! (i.e What did she and her publicists hope to achieve through posting such controversial, conceited and downright annoying tweets) and have they achieved their objective?!

I honestly think her multiple personalities is what threw people off. She came across as this girl next door and suddenly she’s posessed like Marlina from Days of our lives. You cant be humble one week and some pre madona the next.

Even when she presents VUZU its like she’s got a vendetta. Everything is over emphasised etc. Pulling snide remarks on the side. Its sooo childish shem.

She’s blocked me on twitter cause I was honest to her. I was not rude but simply asked where all this was going?? was there some alter ego that would be revealed at the end? I dont understand her behaviour and simply dont give a relaxer kit about what she does from here on.

She should just exile into that new country South Sudan, start all over again. And endorse Easy Waves…….

Fezzy, yazi, I understand the frustrations and I know people are complaining that we don’t give them gossip anymore… I hear all of that, to an extent I agree with them and as far as possible I will try , the team will try, to give the readers what they want.

I just wish people would understand that I cannot INVENT gossip when there is none.

Right now Nonhle is the most talked about person in “gossip entertainment”… Yes, I don’t want to talk about it personally but there are people out there who want to and the fact that there are actually questions here posed for her, demonstrates that fact.

I visit blogs, websites etc and I only read what I am interested in. If there is nothing I find interesting, I exit. I don’t comment on each and every post to tell the writers how boring their topics are. That’s what I have a problem with, the tone in which the message is sent as well.

Amalanga akafani, there will be good days, there will be bad days… It’s very difficult to be creative every day of the week. Or maybe we must only open JC once a week so that we can have GOSSIP all the time?

I appreciate the feedback and we will work at it but if you dont’ like JC anymore it’s fine… we would’ve failed but it’s okay. Not every one will like us.

Early last year there was a time where the “whole” of twitter was on my case due to an article written by JI. I ended up having to delete my twitter account.
During that time, Nonhle was one of VERY FEW people who called to check on me to see if I was okay & encouraged me not to give up on JC etc. I don’t agree with her twitter rants, I was shocked and felt they were stupid but because of the support she gave me last time, i could not go on Twitter and add to the drama.
I haven’t spoken to her since her reality show aired on Vuzu. Hope this answers your question

@ BS… I hope I don’t come across as aggressive or what not I have a couple of things to say about this.

1.It worries me ever so slightly that you felt you could not address me personally , but chose instead to address u Fezzy, almost giving the poor girl a heart attack.

2. Not sure what it is about me that makes you think you were going to get no understanding from addressing me directly.

3. True , I am sick of uNonhle, in fact I’m fed up to the back teeth… I really do not wanna talk about her, but I’m not deluded enough to suppose that my being sick of uNonhle would result in the blog spot being removed.

7. Enye into I get what you say about not being able to “invent”gossip That wouldn’t be cool( that would invite litigation) & no one wants that.In my opinion the bloggers on JC are some of the most eloquent, artitulate people in Cyber space.

8. The intelligence of the bloggers means that they can, and do speak about any topic, not necessarily “celebrity gossip” this is demonstrated by how nice the “Funeral” topic was, cause all of us could relate, we’d all been to funerals.

9. In closing, yes I was sarcastic, one of my flaws I suppose, but that doues not mean ukuthi I don’t like the site , cause LAWD knows I do.!

10.Setting limits ukuthi ndenzeni , as in only ask questions, do not comment just made me furious, And I reacted negatively, I guess I’m yet to learn how to disagree wihout being disagreable.

Nonhle, I still appreciate your work and you are still one of the most beautiful women in this country. Mna i just want to find out if you have any regrets about the way you handled yourself on twitter.

Nonhle you’re a true example of the phrased “i’m not made to break”. Throughout the controversy and animosity you’ve managed to keep your head up. That’s an indication of strength. I genuinely admire that. My mom’s an excutive and often says “people will always judge cause they dont know the pressures one face, its easy for people to talk” Jay Z says “everyone will tell you how to get it but they aint never did it”

My question to you is: How does it feel to be so young and so successful? Do you often wake up having to pinch yourself just to ensure you’re not dreaming? I know i would, lol.

So proud of you and your work. Your mentorship programme and Angels foundation, the way you’re always giving back to the youth and mostly instilling hope. As an aspiring C.A that means alot to me to have celebrities or professionals who’re prepared to to give back and guide. More especially with the ruthless entertainment industry. I have to admit I was one of those people who really use to like Nonhle..I would like to give you an advice coz I honestly dont see how you will answer any of these questions without sounding like you are justifying your actions, so I would like to advise you ukuthi when you apologise dont use a BUT after the statement “I’m sorry”. I’ve read your interviews with drum magazine,move this week and I saw your interview with T-boze(top 10@10) kuwowonke lama interview eventhough you say you are sorry usacubeka about the same things you are apologising for..I seriously doubt that people will look at you the same way as they did before this whole crazyness, but there’s nothing wrong with admiting ukuthi you were wrong.

@BS blah blah blah….we come here for peoples comments which make our day since there is no more entertainment beyond the usual. Learn to take critism like a man. Its been established for a while that the contect here has crossed the line of boring and beyond. We now rely on people like Aunty Softy,Mmaditaba,WI,Lela,Fezzy,My sister,JG and more to entertain us so we come here for that and occasionally come here when and if there are new posts. There is so much gossip out there happening around but because JC has aligned itself with these celebrities personally it can not dish it out to us because of the consiquences. Before you start the arrogant statement odf why dont you start your own blog then thing, yawn, thats because I have a day job and I love the JC community and not the JC team.That is why I come here daily. Even the coverage of the July was not up to par, alot of things happened there and after but there were no juicy tidbits. Now we are supposed to reggugate the Nonhle saga,booooh. In my honest, humble opinion I think the JC team has let the ball down in the past few weeks. I mean MaBlerh’s coverage of the DBNJuly- it was lack-lustre, ukuba polite, we aren’t expecting you guys to pull a rabbit out of a hat, but certain social gatherings we expect mgosi & lots of pics for us to discuss & diss. I think people need to realise that we log into just curious every day because we love the site ( and are kinda addicted) but that doesnt mean that we arent dissatisfied. The last 2 weeks, the comments have been more interesting than the actual post and that is wrong and if it continues we will eventually stop logging on. We love you boss lady but your attitude really sucks sometimes…

Kusi tocuhed on something that I first thought when I read the “what happened to my Nonhle” was it “Bring back my Nonhle” when she first lost her marbles….
Firstly, let me saying thank you to BS and the JC crew for giving us a platform to let our hair down, vent and most important have a laugh.
That said, I have been dissapointed at the lack of “back bone” sorry to say. You are a gossip/entertainment column, however, your reporting has now for sometime lacked LANTO especially when it comes to local celebrities or events. Posting a bunch of pictuers and commenting with “I like her dress” or “no comment” surely is for facebook because there people don’t want to remain safe and not be “unfriended” should what they say be percieved nasty. It makes me wonder if this is the case of being worried of not getting invited to events again or being ignored by celebs? When I first discovered JC, I thought you guys were SA’s answer to fashion police….boy have I been dissapointed.
It is very clear from your other articles or when responding to bloggers that you do have it in you to just go for it, so why aren’t we getting that much of you?! We do not expect you to make up gossip etc but we do wish you’d report with some intergrity and remain true to what the vision of this site is/was when it started. so far, i feel like Mablerh is the only one that isn’t afraid to let it all out.
I know you are not a tabloid but i urge you to look at the The Sun newspaper UK, the bizzare section, it is fearless and unapologetic. No one is spared if they have been caught offside or otherwise. That said, I am not saying turn yourself into a “justcurios&nasty”, give compliments where they are due…but please let’s leave the abo “cute”, “nice” to abo mama base sontweni.
The thing is celebs need the media hence when something is said about them, they always run back to “set the record straight” so let’s go for it, Nonhle needs you more than she cares to admit!

There comes a time in ones life whereby they start believing in their own hype
And when that times comes we must all try and understand how futile and human we really are…

It is an evident given that once person is loved, liked, embraced, acknowledged, appreciated, noted, recognized in which ever field on life, that person will NATURALY start developing a sense of their own presence awareness.

Hence we have acceptable phrases like ‘I am awesome’
‘I am great’
‘I am a leader’
‘I am a role model’
‘I am a force to reckon with’
‘I am blessed’
‘I am loved’
Etc

And the above mentioned few examples don’t even bridge or topple to the other side of confidence and self awareness, if said with lightness. Its only branded arrogance at the tone and they way its said..

How many times do we have to say
‘Its not what u say but how u say it that makes a HUGE difference’

When that particular person receives some deserving attention, unfortunately its upto their level of ‘self worth as an added value ‘ how they respond and reciprocate the deserving attention

And when a person fails, and starts becoming egotistical, arrogant, vile, over-the-top, ignorant, childlish, bully, empty persona and vain rendering them to losing all that ‘deserving attached greatness as an added value’ not only is it sad, mentally life threatening to those who used to dote on their presence, but it honestly requires a great deal of understanding human behavior and why we do the things we do, or why we say the things we say, if not why we act in an extreme manner as a reversal mechanism.

I do understand why all of you are frustrated with each other and everything attached to ur objectivity.

I go thru the same thing and I am not even a celebrity, wealthy or a super model (all the three things that apparently attributes to one being on a boarder line of humble and vain)

I am just an awesome soul, with great attributes, loved by many, loathed by the inferior complex suffers, praised by the heavens being, appreciated by life itself and every single day, every single hour, I have to remind my self be humble Softy, be humble. I have to do a reality check and spiritual cleansing as in as much as I am loved and appreciated, there are times when the human being in me threatens to dote and gloat on the ‘natural blessings’ and have an ego…

I do get tempted and sometimes I do loose my head a bit and act as big as I am perceived, all the while I am not that big, just simple with a bigger picture as compared to another who is also simple yet their picture frame is not big as mine.

It does not however at all mean that they don’t have a vision or purpose if not a better wall (way) to display their portrait, it just means that my picture happens to be larger than life, while theirs is life itself.

And everyday I pray I don’t loose the breath that the universe breathed into me for I love being loved and appreciated, no matter if its by masses, bloggers, facebookers, twitters, or just a simple being who just can’t get enough of my energy and aura..

To those who are loved, appreciated, doted-on, etc for your ‘known’ status as a celebrity, blogMaster, Groupie, etc lest you forget,,,, allow Aunty Softy Aka DR S to remind you ‘you are nothing without humility ‘

Zibambe, ke tshware, hold yourself, arrest yourself and allow your spirit to flourish without you thinking you are the SHIT!!!!

Let me have my 2cents worth nam about JC, I’m done ngo NonTLE for now.

As people we are different, we like and are satisfied by different things. The reason I still come to JC is that I like it, and I still get entertained. There may not be celebrity gossip anymore, but that’s not all there is to entertainment, FOR ME. Well there have been those days where I feel the articles are blerrr, e.g that article about tailored suits or something. I thought it would never go beyond 12 comments, but what do u know, the comments were so interesting… So u see, sometimes the entertainment will come from the community. My point: its not that we are misleading Lelo and ‘pretending’ that we are happy, its because some people here are genuinely happy to be on JC and they do get entertainment with the articles that get posted.

I don’t know about this ass-licking. If u’re disagreeing with BrownShuga, then surely u’re agreeing with someone else, so then are u kissing that someone’s ass?
