Joint Statement: Minnie And HUSH

PRESS RELEASE: MEETING BETWEEN LEBLERH ARTIST MANAGEMENT & HUSH MANAGEMENT

LeBlerh Artist Management along with the management of HUSH met in the presence of Stephane Cohen, Minnie Dlamini, Melanie Ramjee, Sjula Dlamini, Marvin Cohen and Blessing Cele; in order to discuss the events of Friday 12^th August 2011 where Minnie Dlamini was assaulted inside the club.

After much deliberation a resolution was reached. Both parties agree to the fact that Minnie was punched by a patron and the manager.

Regarding the manager, HUSH would like to apologise on his behalf and state that it was unintentional and that he was trying to defend Minnie.

At no point was Minnie assaulted by the bouncers at HUSH.

Both parties agree to the fact that the patron did in fact occupy a table that was reserved for Minnie and her friends.

After striking Minnie, the patron did disappear.

Minnie left the club immediately after the incident with her friends, Busisiwe Nkuna and Aurelia Nxumalo.

Both parties agree that there were no xenophobic undertones in Minnie Dlamini’s tweet directly after the incident as she was merely describing the patron that had fled the scene.

Hush and LeBlerh Artist Management have agreed to work together with the Rosebank Police in apprehending the patron and ensuring that he is brought to justice for striking Minnie Dlamini. Hush apologises to Minnie regarding the incident and ensures patrons that this was a rare incident that they will ensure never happens and that they, in no way, condone violence against women and their patrons in general.

The case for assault remains open at Rosebank Police station.

OMG, finally. This truly bothered me, I unfollowed alot of people on twitter because of this. I am happy the matter is resolved. I am even happier Minnie’s name is cleared. What a strong young woman. Mnxiiiiim! I’m glad the truth came out though… the 2 letters yesterday really got to me.

I hope Minnie gets over this somehow & that her faith will heal the emotional scars.

I stil hate this dumb nonsense trying to hush hush nonsense! So really it was not the bouncer but the manager & patron that punched her? Like that is supposed to make it better rather that worse.

Aye ye ye ‘MaBlerh’ . They should have done this all along. With my experience of working at a club, I don’t think a client who pays 10 000, just came with it in cash, he should have used his credit card to settle the bill or to reserve such a table, so I hope it will be easy to know his name. I am not expecting to hear hore he disappeared.

This is what PR should be about, going to the root of the problem before it gets out of hand. Morongwe Mokone was a fictional character created by Melanie Ramjee, nothing more nothing less. I reckon Hush needs a new publicist after Hypress’ mismanagement that resulted in this debacle.

I’m happy both camps met amicably and came to the above conclusion. However, i believe an apology is just not good enough after dragging Minnie’s name in the mud like that, exactly to the point of them insinuating that she was drunk & rude, and that only the manager got punched. Why did the manager change his tune all of a Monday? Hush need to come to the party, and no i’m not taking free invites here, monetary compensation. And Morongwe must khipha her kwere-kweric client, it should be easy to track naye loMorongwe, Oxford road doesn’t stretch that far.

It wasn’t the first time Minnie got assaulted at a club. Maybe she has an attitude/ego problem, unless anyone here knows her personally and has partied with her. Why attach the “angelic” connotation to her again?? Do we know her when she’s intoxicated?? No, we only see what she portrays on tv.

Any rational person would’ve approached the manager and asked for another table. She’s in the entertainment industry for pete sake- misunderstandings take place frequently. Ask event organisers!! She should’ve ensured that there was no miscommunication on management’s side. Perhaps the guy got ticked off by HOW she approached him?? It doesn’t make sense why adults couldn’t just make other arrangements instead of turning this entire thing into a circus!! But its gon now:) phew! MOLOKO LOKO lol
