It’s not so much that he needs to try his hand at fathering his own parents because even though he acts more mature than most guys his age, truth be told, young Lu still needs guidance of his own. But Luyanda Nkosi’s maturity level has him believing that he holds the answers to his parents’ constant bickering. See, his dream is to unite his parents once again, so that things can be as they once were… Although, those few good memories of hope that Lu still holds on to, never did outweigh the match made in hell which was his parents’ matrimonial union.

In the history of South Africa, the 2010 FIFA World Cup will be remembered as a time when SA, a nation still healing from a tumultuous past, mobilised and united to stage an event that captivated the globe.
The series will consist of a combination of in-depth interviews; case-studies relating to the various themes; summary overviews of particular issues packaged into understandable and objective features; and archive material; to create a series that really does cover a full spectrum of World Cup legacy related topics.
The six episodes will cover the social impact and nation building effect of 2010, the impact on the continent, soccer development in South Africa, the legacy of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the impact on tourism in South Africa, the global perception of South Africa, the World Cup economy, communicating the World Cup and much more.
Filmed across the country and beyond its borders, we will take into account the far-reaching impact of the World Cup; the series traverses the gap between the boardroom and the ordinary man on the street.
The show will be voice-over driven by a respected voice over artist, whose role will be to ensure that the continuity and congruency of thought is well communicated at all times.
The show takes place on location in the places most relevant to the various themed episodes and so is rich in the textures, cultures and languages of South Africa.
When The World Was Here is a documentary in its purest form! It will be engaging, relevant and compelling, critical and representative. The series will truly become the definitive guide to the legacy of 2010.
o So What? (Entertainment Reality Series) Thurs 08 Sept 2011 @ 22:00 – 22:30
Drama, luxury, fast cars, and controversy with South Africa’s new elite.

A high-end international (international??) reality television series that follows the multi-millionaire businessman and ex-conman, Kenny Kunene, on his travels to local and international locations, taking the viewers to red carpet events, yacht parties, sushi bars and boardrooms, as he enjoys the good life and chases new business.
The show further features the following characters that form part of the narrative content: Gayton McKenzie, Kieran Lindeque, Moloko McKenzie and Adriaan Jonker.
The series introduces Kenny Kunene’s high profiled friends, business acquaintances and entourage and follows the drama and high stakes moments that shape their lives. It also shows the hedonism, impulsiveness and last-minute decisions that only wealth and influence can allow.
So What highlights Kenny’s lavish lifestyle, whilst contextualizing his past. Kenny is a reformed conman who has turned his life around. The contrast between Kenny Kunene’s current position and that of his past makes the show more than just a catalogue of the fast cars and fine champagne – it makes a rags to riches story that generates a series of fascinating conflicts between economic classes, attitudes, cultures, and values.
Whether the audience applauds Kenny’s success or is appalled by his extravagance, whether they want to get in his world of wealth or are shocked by his hedonism, whether they see Keeny as an inspiration or a scandal, So What makes for compulsive and highly entertaining viewing.

Nonsense what changes, we still have Jika Majika and Generations on our screens.
dejane on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 12:46 pm
Jika Majika is gone or will be. So now Ansa and Thembi need to look for other jobs. Hai im not sure about locally produced sitcoms. They dont do it for me. Never have, City Ses’la wasnt bad but it got boring after a few seasons. They should call themselves ‘RECYCLING FOR SHO’ cause nje that’s all they do, recycle ish we’ve already seen or ancient/outdated material.
golden diva on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 12:57 pm
Why is RGB moved to a tuesday?? Its the one thing that kept saturday tv alive. Don’t get me started on that dinosaur sbu and that friends like these show, like what the hell!? Can it or move it to a 00:00 slot on a wednesday or something!!
Biskiti on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 1:29 pm
Best Move >> RGB to Tuesday at 7pm. I wish the move was effective from September, not October.
Kusho Thursdays umuntu angeke alale neh. Phuza Thursday indoors (Headlines > Soul Food > Kenny’s stupid show > Shreads & Dreams.
Biskiti on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 1:40 pm
Kimmo, i have a soccer-mad aunt that looooves soccer. Whenever i go to her house, i take my tv with cause that’s all we’ll be subjected to (gross exxageration). Anyway, we’ll be watching a game and she’ll be calling the players by name, and ask “kana whose that 08 player for Sundows?” and i look at her with a mouth full of teeth. Yeah, it’s embarrasing, but soccer is not for everybody.
Golden Diva, it’s called “weekend” for a reason>>get a life…lol
Vesa on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 1:41 pm

LOVING “Close up” on etv on Saturdays, the 1 on 1 with Simpiwe dana made me love her even MORE!
mamamia on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 2:55 pm
Hayi noooo.
The only thing intersting is the Kenny show.
Generations should have been moved to the 5pm slot so we could miss it – not on purpose.
Local sitcoms are a miss for me. they miss the mark too often.
When the world was here? what they talking about, the world never left all those foreigners are still here…give us a break!!lol
MsRooi on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 3:17 pm
I don’t watch welfare much but there are a lot of good shows that are underrated. They just need proper financing and backing and I’m sure they would be even better!
I agree with @biskiti, RGB needed to move from that timeline. It isn’t doing it justice! I was hoping to see Home Affairs somewhere in there. Oh well..
Lol imma watch Kenny’s show and see exactly what its about
MsRooi on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 3:20 pm
Bonginkosi, Brenda, Mom Lillian and Baby can act and I’m sure have the right chemistry. I just pray they had a great team behind them. I’m hoping My Perfect Family is a good show. Will give it a try
dejane on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 3:38 pm
Lol at Mamamia.. Is waar, Generations needs to be moved to a earlier slot, while people are stuck in traffic on their way home.
snapshot on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 5:03 pm

showville on Mon, 29th Aug 2011 10:33 pm
Human Target is a great show. I think it would do better on sabc 3 in an earlier time slot.
SABC1 has put me off some South African productions.
ladyfunk on Tue, 30th Aug 2011 8:21 am
