…Eer now I have this “friend” lol

Been following the Jackson trial and I must say I have never seen such a lukewarm weak defence team tjo! Mr Murray needs good friends on the inside, cause that’s where he is heading.

While I do not condone his medical ethics I find it sad and hypocritical, how the Jackson family is suddenly conveniently forgetting the “minor” detail that they were never really there for their brother/son when he was alive and screaming out for help.

Tjo bathong I am not sure whether some of you watched the road to Miss SA on Sunday and saw one of the contestants blatantly lying through her teeth and embarassing herself on TV. This is what happened:

The search is in Durban and an East Coast FM DJ is on the judging panel. A very pretty blonde walks in and the DJ says to her: “Magnus Malan died a few weeks ago and his death made local and international news. What kind of legacy do you think Magnus Malan left South Africans?”

And the chick o starta go tlhatlhamologa, very confidently nogal, even smiling: “From what I read about her she was a very wonderful woman who did a lot for South Africa and she left a great legacy for SAns yada yada yada…”

Itjoo, as the girl was tlhatlhamologing about that and the judging panel was looking at her with disbelief, I wanted to run to the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooom…anywhere so that I don’t witness the moment that she will phoxad by the judging panel for blatantly lying with confidence.

After her rant was over and she looked over at the judges with a huge smile on her face thinking gore she had impressed them the DJ spoke. “Magnus Malan was a defence minister during the apartheid era and was a man”.

I am not sure what happened to the poor girl afterwards mara if I were her, I would have probably slit my wrist. Not only is she a habitual liar who makes stuff as she goes mara she has been exposed on TV…. talk about things that make you go hhhhmmmmm!!!

  19. GA on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 8:43 am

LOL @lwandie you rebel! Speaking of friends, mna I have three friends, with three issue…first friend…..LMLO…

Re: Jackson trial. I thought I had missed something in my years of following MJ, bcos I recall, the only person who was ever realy in his life was the Mom, I remember Janet Jackson saying in an interview that she last spoke to hin a year ago on the phone. Its just weird to see Jermaine and them mourning him perpertually when at some point I thought they were estranged from him. The recent concert in London that the kids attended. Sigh…the brothers didn’t go because of the trial?? Honestly! What Would Michael have done? I’m glad the kids went. I fully agree…the family, except for Catherine is very hypocritical about the the MJ saga. PS: I think Tito Jackson is real out of the brothers. Stand corrected.

I do not have the patience for the trial though. I try, but I just think I’d rather listen to MJ songs than go thru this. Maybe I will when its wrapped up *clears throat*…I honestly believ MJ would rather people enjoy his Legacy than suffer this. And PS: as much as I LOVE MJ, he was a recluse, he was troubled, I don’t think nobody forced anything down his system, he was a mega star, anybody would leap to get him anything nommater how illegal. .but yeah Good Luck to Murray.

Although, I do wanna listen to the recent recording of him were he is apparently ‘high’, talking about that ‘curtains call/this is it concert……actually I wanna see this so gruesome pics of him when he was dying. Ke nyaka go hloboga.

Having a horrible week, yesterday for the first time in my life, i think I may have failed an exam… I just sat there with a pen in my mouth, counting the seconds until the first hour so I could walk out. I take such pride in my academics but lately mymind refuses to co-operate, I’m all over the place… Are people’s academic records a matter of public record cause what happened yesterday was a crying shame… So ashamed of my self… Why can’t my mind co-operate lately… nakhona yi post graduate nton- nton endiyifuelantoni @ my age & stage.

When I had finished flunking, I got a message that a friend lost everything, each and every worldly possession in a fire, I just wept.

Then in bed with hubby I go closer for a cuddle cause I was upset , but brother man sees that as an invitation for sex… I was like NO…I JUST WANT A CUDDLE!!!!!GEEZ WTF???

Why can’t men get that, miss my girlfriend, I really need her warmth, will only see her after 1pm, cannot wait!

Blessings @ Booty and your lil one.

*waving at Ga* hehee your big sis is feeling a bit of a rebel, blame it on the early mornings.
Ya I found it really weird too when the jackson brothers especially Jermaine mourned for days for MJ and dragged it on and on…as well as the way Janet played dotting aunt at the funneral.

Ya that “druggie” recording was uncomfortable to listen to tjo esp for the likes of me who grew up with posters of MJ plastered everywhere and praying every night for that famous red jacket.

Kodwa mara uMurray laye pumping all that medication that he did not even have the skill to handle was career suicide nje

  48. Noance on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:18 am

Askies @Lolo I know what those days feel like. I’ve done the same thing in an exam, its was like a non-alcoholoic black out! But I went back after I failed shame and I nailed it! We live and we lear but you cant crucify yourself for being human.

  51. lolo on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:22 am

About Jahara… eish I have a feeling people are giong to be all hypocritical & go on some Jahara we think what happened to you was not funny, infact we believe you told the truth #SIGH#

Really, look, I still think Jahara lied, look about the uncle who fixed a voice got disabled in the process, maybe not impossible , but unlikely…The friend who died, it happens , people get sick & die , so that is also likely, but the ‘my father shot & crippled two coloured bicycle thieves… In this race obsessed country if a black men shot & killed two coloured boys I think it would have made headlines, I read newspapers, I follow interesting, especially legal stories, but I do not remember Jahare’s story…

Jahara should come back nna I doubt I would have left… she should develop a thick hide like Freckles, that person akaswabi shem, ungamthuka umenzeni kodwa ukuswaba niks…

  52. Fezzy on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:23 am

All I need is a prayer guys. All those who can pray, please pray for me. I would do it myself but everytime I try I just end crying and I dont know if God can tell why Im crying.

  55. MaThandizinto on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:24 am

Its a pity Jahara decided 2 silentblog bcos of mean spirited people who 4got that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, not only dat we have many liars up in here but they aint outed.

I rememba a certain blogger telling us about her rich husband who put her thru varsity, did everything 4 her helped her find a job yada yada she was dependent on him, had moved frm kzn 2 jhb then when she found a job in cpt she wanted 2 leave him and be independent and was advised against it, they have a child 2geda.

Couple of months later the story changes, she was neva married 4getting what she had said earlier. Jahara must khumbulekhaya, at least her stories were consistant lol, she neva 4got what she had said.

  56. Mapakisha on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:24 am

Another sad story in the news: The 5year old boy from Alexandra who lost both his legs when some idiots chopped a humangous tree with proper inspection. Man, apparently the boy woke up & pleaded with his dad to go get his legs so they could go home.*sosad*

  57. Ms_B on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:25 am

For me the story that realy caught my attention is the child sex ring that ws uncovered in d western cape involving 3 policemen.
Among them ws a 12yr old girl who was held as a sex slave. I mean wat the frikadel, are we now supposed to lock our kids in the cage inorder to protect them from these monsters.

  58. sexybehind on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:25 am

  68. GA on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:44 am

Oh Lwandie…Jermaine is still mourning even now! it goes without saying I think…that he wanted to rescusitate the J5 or his career after this tragedy…I watched this Jacksons dynasty doci weeks ago and he was shooting some nmusic video in india…arg he is the most dramatic, small voice or not. Oh and Janet Playing good ol aunty during Paris’s fake tears (imo) at the memorial. I liked them better when they were real about the fact that they are not all that close. Anyway! This Murray guy, I haven’t been following the case much to know his ills/crimes…he always is pictured sombre and defeated. I feel, with lil facts ofcourse, that he is realy being made a scapegoat…there are probably many like him administering illegal dosages to many a tinsle towners out there…just that their ‘patients’ have not died and they haven’t been probed!
If I were the jacksons, I’d focus my attentions on the people that orchestrated the infamous dreadful conspiracy against MJ that destroyed him…Sony maybe? Murray was just helping to numb damages done by lots of people and systems..hhehehe..laughing at meself. Always wanted to go on and on about the ‘consipiracy theories’…*spits on martin barshir*…:D

Anyhow, hang in there with the early mornings sisi, more Blessings regarding that btw:)

  69. lolo on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 9:45 am

@Noance & DrDee thank you, just feeling out of sorts, will be fine I hope…

@Mathandizinto… if you go back to the Jahara story you will see that initially I was on some “yewena Thuli, no one is under oath here” so it does not matter if Jahara is indeed lying,

Infact in my mind, I did not even believe the first story she told, but ngathula ngoba in the greater scheme of things, it does not matter, its no skin off anyones nose…

What I really objected to was when folk started attacking @ Thuli for raising her doubts…as if uThuli is obligated to believe err’thang that come out of Jahara’s keyboard,

nawe grow some balls if you think someone is lying & it bothers you, stop beating about the bush name them, lobugwala buyabhora shem… this is not High School akekho umuntu ozoshaywa or aboshwe…Khuluma nje ukhululeke…like BS says

    SPEAK YOUR MIND!!!

    @booty,
    your apologies are firmly rejected.
Halala on your bundle of joy!!
May your boy bring you joy now and always.May he light up your dark moments and i pray he grows in wisdom and stature.
He will not be a victim to the horror stories that seem to abound in our country about young children.

@Fezzy,may the help and grace of God attend to the aches of your heart.May your dawn come.

I refuse to dignify this govt and its agencies with a post.I am past caring. The light we tend to see at the end of the tunnel is nothing but an oncoming train. With these clowns in power, we are doomed.
I hear the SABC sponsors outsiders for courses in the UK?I would not mind one of those sponsorships,i promise not to spend the money on ‘pay as you go’ pleasures like their recent recepient. No wonder we have crap programs on welfare tv!!
Is Zuma still applying his mind to the Madonsela’s report on Shiceka? How long does it take to do that?or he is looking for where to deploy the thieving comrade to?
I promised not to dignify this clowns…..

@flower, talking of those who are missing from the JC family. My thots and prayers are with you.May you finish strong.Whatever battle you may have lost or are losing, you will win the war.

@kusi, i am rooting for you and your hubby.

  107. lolo on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 10:33 am

@Bikiti… Don’t even talk about the book, I really deeply regret talking about the book here yazi, I am having so many differences with the editor, I thought editors fixed only grammar & language, but I feel the person wants to re-write my book, we are fighting about every single little thing, she wants me to narrate the book differently… I explain everything that happens in the first chapter then slowly explain why it came to pass, she wants to sell the book as a thriller, kinda like revelation in the end,

I hate having signed with the first publisher… I regret err’thang & now I’m legally obligated to stay with them…Otherwise I’m in breach of contract, I have been working on this book on and off since I was 23(okay, mostly off)

but I feel my voice is being too coached, the originality is disappering, I feel so bitter, & the thing is my family & everyone are so bloody excited, while I feel like my finger prints are being wiped off the final product….The bitch even wants me to change the name of the protagonist, I always thought of the book as the book of Tholakele, now that her name needs to be changed to one with less syllables, to appeal to the “white reader” I feel like spitting!

As they say , be careful what you wish for….

Okay, the thing is ne, I’ve watched the memorial over and over again, and I just don’t believe her tears, I ddint even see them, she was squeezing her eyes so they can come down and nada, and then when the tears ddnt come come out inspite of her effort she quickly turned to her aunty Janet…who embraced her like she was inconsolable, and maybe she was just the tears failed her. nkare she was told to cry.
Dna of nie, black or white, I believe those kids are MJs. BUT I believe the only real recluse, the only one who MJ successfully shielded from public influence ke Blanket. I don’t know, I do not like being told how to write, I will feel like such a fraud when I get credit for something that is not entirely my brain child…Part of me wishes I lived in two parallel universes, so that we publish my unchanged version, and her edited version , so we can see which sells the most copies… but @ the end of the day whether I like it or not I will do as told,

I just wont make it easy on the editor. On her last email she says that every new writer has fantasies of killing her editor so I guess this is par for the course…

Oh Gosh!! can we please stop with the fighting hle.. rather can everyone come join me here (_________) & we can puff on some peace pipe..

Living in South Africa is sooo depressing at the moment, there’s just soo many things going wrong, I think we are cursed as country maybe our ancestors are angry at us. Maybe we need to hlabela amadlozi and the whole country must have a day of prayer to remove the curse. I’ve stopped reading the newspapers cos my High blood just shoots up with all the things I read there.
The rate at which horrible things are done to kids in South Africa calls for a state of emergency.
All of our leaders have been possessed by some Lesilo evil spirits and they do things which are unthinkable.

Congrats Booty on ur bundle of joy, may Qamata protect u & ur lil one and give him good health.

I really think we do need a national day of prayer, everyone nje is depressed with this or that, i think ooMama bomthandazo have been taking a break from praying for our country.

Not that I’m defending these crooks that are posing as our leaders but I find it hard to believe that renovating an existing house would cost R400m. I mean the most expensive house in SA is just a little over R100m. So who would pay so much just for a fresh coat of paint and a few new curtains? I don’t buy it

Does anyone here work for City of Tshwane?

  144. Leungo on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 11:20 am

I would like to address all the people who like Khumbulikhaya.

The program is doing well in terms of ratings and also in bringing families together but there are some things about them that I find disturbing. The Khumbula people are in some cases hell bent on uprooting people from their homes without actually offering support afterwards. There seem to be no psychologists who help these people settle with their families or social workers who guide them how to relate to strangers that they are now forced to live with. Regardless of the fact that some of them gave birth to those kids, if they were raised by someone for 16 years and you had no contact with them, they are still strangers.

I remember the story of a Shangaan girl whom a Zulu guy took to KZN and marry when she was still young. When she was finally reuinted with her family, she could not speak Shangaan anymore. It was sad seeing her sitting by herself while the mother and her siblings where going on about their daily duties. They had nothing in common, not even language anymore. I somehow believe that she must have gone back to KZN now bocs there was no way she could stay there.

Another one was two weeks ago. This woman from Pretoria last saw her daughter when she was three months old before the dad took him to the EC. Now she is 20 and made it clear on TV she does not want to live with her ma as she does not know her. However, she finally gives up and left with her.

Many people were probably happy about that but did they ever think of the psychological and emotional implications of that? What if the kid at some point refuses to be dictated to by the mother who never raised her and then becomes rebellious. The mother then kicks her out of the house as she can’t take that and the kid is far away from EC then turns to the streets?

There should be professionals who advise these people on how to go about getting to know each other. Uprotting people is not fine, visting each other and getting to know each other gradually is the best option.

In closing imagine this: You are 18 and about to write your matric exams. A stranger comes to your home and claims to be your mom. You are then requstes to pack your bags to go live with her bcos she gave birth to you. Would you go, leave your friends, culture, language, the only family you have ever known and travel 100s of km to a place you have never been to just bcos the woman gave birth to you?
Kante what is family? Should bilogy really matter in some cases or the well being of a child?

We all know how tabloids in Hollywood would conjure up stories that hardly make any sense. What would she gain from faking a pregnancy? Maybe its the dress she was wearing that made the baby bump appear to have shifted.

  178. Leungo on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 11:50 am

Counselling is needed just before they are to live with the new family members. The two scenarios I have just explained were so abrupt and disturbing. You can’t dump someone in a place and get counselling for them later.

I wish you had seen the Shangaan girl clip, that was one of the most disturbing moments on Khumbulekhaya. Even Andile i her commentary said something along these lines: Nhensani has been gone for such a long time that she does not know how to relate to her family anymore”. That was when they were showing a picture of her sitting alone on a chair while the rest of her family going on about their duties. You could tell that the other siblings had nothing to say, even the mother, after asking her why she had left and battling to understand what ndi ganiwe (sp) (I am married) meant, she had nothing further to say to her and just went on her daily chores while Nkhensani sat by herself outside the house.

@LustaGP: Ohhh no I’m just trying to increase your options in life. A few years back as a teen I met a brother in his 30s. I showed him a few trix and the brother man hasn’t looked back, he still thanx me now. He still loves his women but now he also appreciates a warm innocent touch from a fine brother. That’s all I wanna teach you, growing your options not converting. Life is all about allowing your options to work for you and being versatile enough to enjoy every moment as it comes or should I say as you come(pun intended).

@Kewlgal: I feel for you and your cousin. I’d also be devastated if I found out that I’ll never have offsprings of my own. But not go to the extreme of killing myself. But I guess we different and fear, disappointment, and despair gets to us in ways that we can’t fathom. I sincerely feel for you. *hugs*

Is Botshelo and Fabulicios one person bathong?

Anyway Botshelicious, here is my take: Khumbulikhaya in most cases is not bringing families together, just ripping apart some.

All they can do is to get those people into contact with and get them help so they sort the issue out without people being uprooted from the only families they know.

  227. Nomaha on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 12:44 pm

    Has anyone ever encountered this?

Its not a friend this time its me.

When I was 10 my sister was pregnant and started eating soil. My sister being my idoll I followed the trend, difference is 16 years Im still at it. I crave it like someone who craves a cigarette.

When I was pregnant I did the tests and they showed my heamoglobin(sp) is low. Its 5.2 instead of 12 so my Physician thinks thats the main proplem. Basically I’m Iron defficient.

So I’ve been on Iron tablets for the last 2 years but my craving for soil grows stronger like I eat it everyday. I buy it. Its R5.00 from The Nigerian ladies at Cape Town Station, I dont know where they but I’m grateful they have it. If its finished I go crazy, when I’m heart broken I have to have soil otherwise I go mad. When I’m studying I sit with my soil and everything I study gets plastered on my brain. After eating food I have to eat my soil.

Back in the days I used to eat chalk. At Waltons they sold this 100 pieces box of Rolfes dust free chalk and I would buy it every 4th day until the cashier asked me what I did with it and stupidly enough I told her I ate it. Boom when I went again they have conviniently stopped the supply from Rolfes.

At Tech being in my professional I worked mainly with soils and the Technicians knew me, they would give me keys to go get the soil from the lab. At some point I ate lime, the white alkaline powder and not just nje small amounts like the amounts you’d not imagine.

I also have a craving for the exhaust fumes from cars especially trucks and busses. Like the dark smoke, I’d follow any car ekhupha the very dark one just to inhale.

If any of you has had a similar problem please help. Im scheduled to go have an oral intake of Iron what-what because the pills are not helping but I seriously think that will not help. My mouth is full of saliva as I type because of the cravings.

  228. DexterSUPERIOR on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 12:45 pm

Leungo stop exaggerating. Its the people who approach Khumbulekhaya not the other way round. If all the show does is tear families apart, why do people still write tons and tons of letters to them? Would you rather people not find their lost loved ones? Ay stop being a party pooper wena. Millions of people swear by that show. You’re the ONLY one in SA who has issues with it. Cut it out

  229. Mapakisha on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 12:46 pm

We will go have our hair done and I’ll buy you your favourite desert… you see all I needed was to not feel like I was the architect of my own misery…Husbands can be too practical…& too horny!!!

Who writes to Khumbulekhaya? The uprooted ones or the long lost parents/families?

Lest you forget, most of those kids have no choice in the decisions that the parent looking for them makes.

The questions is” Is it if fair for the wanted ones to be uprooted just because the long lost mother/father now wants them?

And whenever I’m pressured I always procrastinate by doing ish that will not benefitt me one iota…I’ve turned self sabotage into an art form, as we speak I have two more exams.. Do you suppose I’m studying HELL NO,

@Lolo.. I honestly have never thought about what it is… the urge comes and goes, so I am not constantly with someone else…

I have also never been caught.. which is why I say that thing about men being too busy with their own shenanigans to notice..

  256. lolo on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 1:35 pm

@Sushi I hear you… this is one of the few times I’m hearing a woman take responsibility for her actions, most of the time people are always on some I cheat cause he started it, which is the logic of a four -year -old, it is rare to find people who own the behaviour, who are on some I cheat, not because I’m paying back my partner, not to prove a point ,Not because my partner is somehow deficient… but because I beneffit in one form or the other from cheating, it feels good to have more that one person like you in that way…

It is very odd in modern society that we all think there is nothing wrong with having more that one parent, most of us have a mother and a father and uncles and aunts & all these parental figures, no one makes us choose just one parental figure… No one thinks that having a father will make you love your mother less… or become a bad daughter..

In friends aswell we have all these different numerous friends and it is perfectly OKAY, no one question it, no one thinks HAYI if you have four friends it means that you don’t appreciate all of them or that having more that one means you find them deficient…

Same as with kids or siblings it is ery possible to love more that one child well, as well more than one sibling…

But when it comes to erotic love, if you dare love more than one person in a sexual way then society questions your devotion to your primary partner, its like if I love my girlfriend then it must mean I don’t love my hubby enough… Strange neh????

@ Ga, I guess tears come from such a personal place that we can’t quite understand , I must admit I was one of those who just did not get that perfomance Paris gave with aunt Janet on tow.I didnt doubt the kids grief as some rightly said, it was their father after all,but that moment just felt so contrived and rather odd, then again I suppose there is no standard way of expressing grief….another one I silently wished would sit down was Brooke Shields drumming on about nothing and some BFF she had with MJ
…the broken MJ I remember was very much alone except for a few constant friends like Liz Taylor who supported him through those allegations.

Its amazing how this seemingly invincible dictators suddenly seem so alone in their moments of dire need,do they not have a safety net of fellow dictators to fall back on.

Hepppppiiiiiiiiii Bootylicious!!! Congrats to u and ur family. may your boy be blessed and bring joy to those who se and meet him.

@Nomaha, my dear u sound Anaemic. Iron deficiency is quite common among African women. I had it in varsity. my weakness was fridge frost and ice. Yoh! i used to drool i when i saw ppl’s freezers with all that frost, take a cup and scrape the roof of the freezer and eat it with a teaspoon. that went on for years, til sumtym when i started hearing my pulse in my hear(thort i was paranoid, it must be normal); was getting dizzy (thort i was standing up to fast); ran out of breath after one flight of stairs(thort i was unfit). only realised i was when i started getting 2 periods a month and went to the doc(i hate one, now 2!!!). they did the hb and told me the common symptoms are cravings of ice, soil, chalk and paper.and all the other stuff i was experiencing that i never linked together. went to webb and savoy in mowbray and got some ferrous supplement that i considered expensive and it worked. cravings stopped. my diet also changed a bit. am no longer on the supplements and my diet sucks again but i’m stil feeling fine.

try get other supplements, they have different potency levels and keep the liver, greens and fish diet going.

*waving to MissAN* been a while I know you are still hanging in there strong.

Actually Leungo was right,BBCs confirmation was based on reports from Lybian Television…but then again why would Lybian Television,so they are being slightly cautious in confirming it ,but to be honest its seeming pretty obvious

  293. Biskiti on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 2:28 pm

Nomaha…Tjo sisi get help hle. My brothe used to eat soil when he was a kid (4-5yers-old), and it got so bad that he started crapping worms, then puking them…and they would be stuck on his throaght (suffocating him)…my mother would have to grab and pull them out…that was FREAKKY i tell you. He took some medication and was healed. Thank God the experience freaked him out and he stopped eating soil##NO JAHARA MOMENT!!

  294. MissAN on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 2:29 pm

@ Monei…I had a thing for ice tubes *kasi pronounciation* as well but not that hectic…

Now that we talking about strange things that people eat, does anyone on JC or has a ‘friend’ smokes snuff? Taxi,Ntsu…Messy habit and so untidy… Tjerrr and their snot drips out…My granny used to smoke that stuff and would occasionally give me some…

  295. Monei on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 2:29 pm

  298. Nomaha on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 2:32 pm

@Monei naleyo ke ye ice I’ve had it but its not as bad as le yomhlaba. Generally i like ice, I crush it with my teeth and I have the heaviest periods ever. Like I use a whole pack of pads in just one day. I’m always tired and hungry. I’ve recently taken worm tabled to de-worm coz sometimes bathi worms use a lot of Iron in our bodies kodwa cha kusenjalo. Hya the supplements are not working zona tu. Now I must just book myself in hospital for idrip and hopefully after that I’ll be fine.

  302. MissAN on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 2:39 pm

@ Nomaha…do you periods last long, like 2 weeks…Gosh, how do I phrase this w/out being appearing dodgy…My friend’s sister also eats rocks, those square and clay looking ones, but she does not swallow them spits in a 2l bottle, naye she also gets heavy periods and goes through pads like a stabbed woman..and I think she is also aneamic…I wonder if there is any correaltion between people that eat rocks, etc and heavy periods…

on some other serious stuff, i have a personal request to BS & JC stuff and to ya’ll in the house..

Can we get someone who is an expect or knows about finances to write an article that advises us on how to budget, what & where to go when one wants to do these investment things. the whole shebang that involves finances.

I believe JC is a good platform for us young, sexy, success driven beautiful thangs and its where we spend most of our time, so i think we might as well learn about everything involving us progressing in life.

Some of us did not study these finance related subjects and we finish school, get good jobs & earn these big monies & we get excited in the proccess end up misusing our money cos we are not well equiped on how to handle finances.
I’m talking for myself now, I earn good money but everytime around these dates i’m flat broke I even borrow transport money from my complex securities, its very embarassing & annoying.

    I thank you in advance

@nomaha, yeah, i never sucked the ice cubes. i used to chew them.

@missAn, i believe there is a connection between iron and our reproductive system. coz the effect of low haemoglobin(sic)tends to be related to womanly stuff and in the extreme case may require hysterectomy. Extreme case.

what all these things( soil, rocks, chalk, etc) do is fool the body into thinking it got its iron fix. then we it realises that that isnt really it, ur craving comes back

@Fezzy, will kp u in my prayers. I continue to pray for Kusi and sexylin’s marriages, Jahara’s fam.

@Botshelo, askies dear. the yr will come to an end. will also add ur mom to my prayer list-may she recover well and be healed.

LMLO MissAN, I have to laugh at ‘your friend’s sister’…re mathateng mann.

I soo wanted to sit this anemia issue out like many, but I’m compelled to confess. Maybe ill feel better. Eish, I hope Liefie is reading this so she can be my accountability person.

It all started with my big sister, she says started eating soap coz she loves smoothies, so when she was outa smoothies, she bite a bit of sunlight. She still does, when she is visiting, I see her tooth marks on the sunlight bar. Sigh…BUT it doesn’t end with her, soon after I realised and asked her, I wanted to taste what she liked about the sunlight bar, I have also been hooked since, I was in high school, but I never swallow. I like chew the peace I bit, and spit it out, I do it in the morning before I brush my teeth. To try to solve the problem, I don’t keep sunlight bar at my place. I’ll have sunlight bar once or twice in a year, and ofcourse in that time, I look forward to chewing a bit of it in the morning, spit it out, and brush my teeth. Thankfully bcos of germophobia, I do not chew sunlight from no one else’s place but my place when I have. Yaaa….and I sullivate sometimes when I see it…the sunlight bar that is.

This is like one of my 3 deep dark secrets…

*drops the phone on the floor and cries*…..

    maJCer,
just to check my level of ignorance. so my early childhood yr were in Bots (like til 11yrs) and there we called coloureds makhalade or makutwane and indians makula. it was never brought to my attention as it being derogatory. now Juju is being chastised for yusing the word makula. only heard the word coolie when i came to SA. do they really mean the same thing? if so, do maburu also get offended if they are called that? what are alternative non-derog african terms for them?

I mean ma GP re hardcore we would have partied in hailstorm if needed be. You don’t shut down a whole gig because of a 15 minute light shower!!

Tried again with soul session the next day, you would think the organisers would learn. Open stage, 2 tents for a large crowd ebile they would not refund us for the tickets bought for the main show. Talk about DAYLIGHT robbery!!
I mean how do you damage control from the front seat of an IVECO taxi. mxm. Bang borile shem…but Nelspruit remains one of the nicest most hospitable cities in SA.

  357. lorrelai on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 5:10 pm

@Nomaha, I have the same addiction but you are worse. It’s very bad yhazi. Once the cravings start, u just have to have that soil. I can even distinguish between the edible and the inedible types of soil. In April I went to Venda and they have this red, clayish type. Goodness, the way I packed it in a plastic bag and brought it home. I’ve never tasted such goodness in my entire-soil-eating-life. The constipation though!!!! & if and when you do manage to dump, you’ll flush it a million times, it just won’t go, lol.

  358. mamamia on Thu, 20th Oct 2011 5:13 pm

@Nomaha, you have an eating disorder called Pica – google for more information. I have the same disorder but different craving – and i won’t disclose for fear of being run out of JC permanently.lol.

People with this disorder like to eat susbstances (not, never food) of ZERO nutritional value and thrive with low tolerance to harmful side effects. some eat glass, soil, paper etc you get the idea.

I’d be careful on the soil cause i’ve heard it causes appendicities – google for verification. Otherwise we are what God made us to eat even if it’s strange he forgives us the things we put in our mouths. It can be cure, I’m semi cured cos my cravings for this non-food susbtance has diminished significantly and i might be well on the road to normalcy.

YOu are not along @Nomaha. funny enough i’m also chronically aneamic, the blood bank wouldn’t even take my blood because of my iron deficiency.

His son as well, gruesomely killed.
Such savagery, in my eyes is unjustifiable. Peacefull uprisings are possible, it happened in Egypt. Or was this a question of fighting a dictator who would kill to defend his regime the best way possible,..by killing him. The west aside, this is crazy…or is it that we can’t separate the west from this savagery?

I am more worried by their taste in clothes.
    Very poor taste.
maybe it is the pics or something, the clothes look fake.
On a more serious note, the dysfunctionality of the family system in our country is at the root of most of our problems.
I feel certain that a survey of the family structure of these kids will reveal single parenthood, susbstance abuse and similar sorts.
The problem is that the kids are no worse than their elders.men and women belching on the gravy train of our collective commonwealth, leaders who choose to give no account for their lavish lifestyles and crooks who are celebrated as role models.
What do you expect of the kids?
Until this is addressed, we remain doomed.

Hey JC family, i just want to share with you what happend to my sister on Monday, R2000 was paid into her account from Wonga loan company, which she never applied for. So still on Monday she gets a call from some guy telling him that they processed money into the wrong account and that she should pay it back into some Nedbank account, which got her suspecious coz the money was initially transfared from ABSA bank. So she called the Wonga co to enquire only to find out that it was fraud they applied online using her details and therefore the monies were paid into her account. Now she had to go to the police station to get a statement and sort it out with Wonga. So please guys be careful and i hope Wonga try to establish some security on their loan application online. and the guys who did this sounded like foreigners.

The reason why i wanted to share with you is becoz i see them advertising on the JC site,

  457. Nthoentle on Fri, 21st Oct 2011 1:19 pm

Aowa guys, why jump to STI’s? Le sele shem
@Fresh-you might have candida (a viganal yeast infection). Go to a doctor and get med’s, also go to the chemist and buy Probiflora Probiotics (they r in a blue box) and buy lots of cranberry juice. U will fine in no time. But see the doctor 1st though to confirm that its a yeast infection.

  458. MissAN on Fri, 21st Oct 2011 1:23 pm

@ Nthoenhle we public clinic nurses…I also suspect it is just a yeast infection or UTI but she should not take any chances in case it might be something serious like ans STI…

  459. Nthoentle on Fri, 21st Oct 2011 1:35 pm

    I agree @MissAN, she must see a doctor 1st.

  467. mamamia on Fri, 21st Oct 2011 4:05 pm

@MissAn next time i will take an official absence of leave before dissapearing. I’ve missed so much

Mara Gadaffi’s death is nothing to be celebrated yazi, I mean the AU sold a fellow brother and dictator in arms to the west. How unfortunate, all this because Libya is oil rich!
How quick Zuma was to turn a blind eye to a fallen comrade just so he can appease the slave owners.

Yes Gaddafi was no saint and he was defiant like a mule to the end, mara still having a despot murdered in full public view on the mother soil is nothing to celebrate. How long will we watch in silence as Africa is pillaged and raped all in the name of our God-given natural resources.

Now Kenya is warring with Somalis on the guise that they are threatening their economy…really. How many foreigners contribute to the GDP of Kenya, who’s funding their assault and loading their ammos. How much more african blood must be shed on our beautiful continent…all in the name of freedom. Freedom from who?

So it begs the question which oil rich country on the world map is up next!!
I mean the imperialist have acted with total impunity so far, what or whose to stop them now.
They don’t love us, never did and never will. Democracy is a farce designed by the west to keep us in mental slavery under the illusion that we are responsible for our freedoms.

I know people don’t want God and politics to mix for the sake of their clear conscience. But the time is definitely coming when the world will feel a heavenly wrath for all the injustices that the innocent have suffered and paid for with their lives.

God have mercy on us all.

Ma JC comrade I now leave you to enjoy your friday and weekend in peace. Be responsible and always vigilant. You don’t want to be caught with your pants down, or hiding in the drain like a sewer rat when the day of reckoning comes.

Fresh sana that’s called vaginal thrush and its normal to women don’t feel embarrassed abt it.it means ur growing up as thina ama grown ups are getting it 2 to 3 times a year. Your body is just building up a lot of acids and most women don’t talk abt it as they associate it with STI as they have similar symptoms. The natural way of getting rid of it is plain yogurt, mara I wud advice u go to the doctor to get ama antibiotics as they keep it away for a longer period. Ur safe with yo doctor and keep it up with using condoms
