Damn, I hope it’s not true!
So the buzz on the internet is that Chris Brown attended Rihanna’s birthday party. Well, I’m not shocked about this, she has said numerous times that she’s forgiven him and that we (well, not me but all the holier than thou people) need to give him a break too. As for the fact that she arrived at the party with him and that he made people sign confidentiality documents, all I can say is TJO!
What is making me scared and nervous is the news, or rather, unconfirmed reports that Chris Brown will be featured in Rihanna’s remix of Birthday Cake. Not sure whether to call it a remix or the “complete”version because we only got a teaser on the album…
Anyway… I would be really shocked if this is the case. Just this week, the world and the self proclaimed gods of this world have been complaining about how Chris Brown could have been allowed to perform twice and even go on to win a Best RnB award (Two things that I was extremely happy about) at this year’s'Grammys. They felt that 3 years was not enough to punish him and that allowing him to perform on that stage (as if he’s the only one with a record to ever do so) sent out a message that what he did was okay.
I guess what made it worse was a tweet sent out by a Breezy fan that he could beat her anyday. NOT sure why Chris must be blamed for that! He apologised (funny how his haters don’t want to acknowledge this), he even took anger management classes and honestly, I just feel people who don’t like him or haven’t forgiven him should just ignore him but not force us to do the same.
With all this said… I would still be very shocked if he is indeed the person featured on Rihanna’s song. The producers of the song told MTV that the song was gonna shock the world and everyone assumed that it features Chris Brown and as much as I want to see them back together (sorry Karrueche), doing a song with him would just be too much. Forgiveness means not holding grudges, I know but please… I’m too scared to see what the reaction would be…

Well I hope Riri and Chris get back together nna I love them shame, Riri forgave him I think her fans shoudl forgive him too, its been years already gosh!! wether wambetha or not it was just torture to see them apart shame..i was once moered was in high school…my family wanted to kill him; he was the most wanted and hated man in our household..

I think its a bad, horrible, terrible, horrific idea for these two to consider getting back together. Yes people make mistakes and hopefully learn and move on from them but when it comes to the issue of domestic violence and abuse, the perpetrators hardly ever change their ways without A LOT of therapy and years of help and even then its a well established fact within the psychology world that its damn near impossible to change abusers.
Love me some C.Breezy and think he is incredibly talented but a few classes of anger management here and there will not change abusive behavioural patterns, especially given the fact that he comes from an abusive background himself.
Plus what will it do for their careers? What if he blows up again? What about all the back-lash?
I am all for love and second chances but this is too risky and way too much. Sometimes love alone isn’t enough!

I have to agree with @Julz..there is nothing wrong with Riri forgiving Chris but I don’t think its a good idea to get back together.let’s also not forget thy have young people idolising them,who maybe be in abusive relationships,maybe more serious nd extreme than wat chris did to rihanna,they may think its okay to keep forgiving thir bf’s.also Riri and chris tried gettng bk together after that incident if I’m not mistaken and it ddnt work they split up again.Would we still be rooting for them to ger bk together if they weren’t famous and “looked” good together?
