1. Foreigners not owning sensitive land or cultural or sea side
That’s all I can remember at the moment as my mind is on a strike

O and a wage subsidy plus a couple of boring stuff with big words
Smatsatsa on Thu, 28th Jun 2012 8:19 am
Well, Zuma was speaking about how the majority of Whites still control the economy, what stood out for me was when he said that the structure of the apartheid-era economy has remained largely intact..
And then there’s also a policy that’s been drafted that call on mining firms to pay more to the state to help finance welfare spending
Mathaz on Thu, 28th Jun 2012 8:58 am
I know that second transition is mostly about economic freedom, how it is still in the hands of the few. Policies and strategies need to be drafted so we all could benefit mara ke remember your BEE policies and the like? So i don’t know what they are talking about. It was drafted by Tony Yengeni and though it is discussed at the policy, it is not widely received because it is perceived that it is Zuma’s way of holding on to power.
The thing is with economic freedom neh, it is a tough situation because when we attained freedom, the white supremacy made sure that we only get political freedom and rob us of our spoils, the whole ANC knows about this, that’s where the whites were clever, they gave us the right to vote only. Our leaders became greedy and only enriched themselves and their families. Now things are out of control and unemployment rate is out of control, it’s only now they want to rectify this.
It is also talking about nationalisation and youth wage subsidy. I don’t know how this subsidy for unemployment youth will work out. Apparently all unemployed youth will get something while they are busy looking for work. Instead of the govt making sure there are opportunities for work, we come up with this??

Zuma is talking abt the 2nd Transition bt when did the 1st one happen or was it the ending of apartheid. So pissed @Angie and her department. Its mind bogling that the ANCYL hasnt said anything abt the non delivery of textbooks.
LadyMillion on Thu, 28th Jun 2012 10:57 am
But why were those textbooks not delivered? i just fail to understand, now theyr doing last minute deliveries during ungodly hours… why aren’t people doing what theyr getting paid to do

“Second Transition” is just double speak for “I want a second term”
He is saying there must be a second transition and he is the one to lead it.. hence saying that he wants a second term.
Mathaz on Thu, 28th Jun 2012 11:45 am
The YL would not say a word, remember this happened in Limpopo, Malema’s stronghold. They are only delivering now and the exams are due in October like what is the point? Tjo we have our priorities wrong. A country that does not care about education is a dead one. Angie should not be attending the conference and getting to the bottom of this textbook matter.
Richmond on Thu, 28th Jun 2012 6:55 pm
I get that we are all on Angie’s throat as minister but what about the district coordinator and the provincial MEC? They should be held accountable for provincial matters. Its like walking past the police station to lay a criminal charge at the police commissioners office. Senseless.

If the Youth League can run a successfull campaign to get rid of Jacob Zuma like they did with Pres Thabo Mbeki then this time they will get my full backing! this man MUST JUST GO! Sikhathele!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tizoz on Fri, 29th Jun 2012 9:39 am
In Fact that whole NEC must just F off they think they are gods! They need to wake up and smell the Moet, the honeymoon period for the ANC is way over and people want to be heard and we have seen that Jacob is NOT the one for the Job!
Malema I fully forgive you for ever campaigning for this man to be president!
Mathaz on Fri, 29th Jun 2012 9:45 am
I don’t see Zuma being defeated hey, we are still stuck with him for another term. What the YL did wrong was to use the same tactics used to topple Mbeki. They forgot that they were planning with Zuma so he beat them at their own game. Zuma was also tasked with the intelligence operatives back in the day so his experience and knowledge should not be taken lightly/
Tizoz on Fri, 29th Jun 2012 9:49 am
I hear you Mathaz and fully agree that the tactics were wrong. somehow someone needs to do something and this man must go back to Nkandla and shag his wives and live there and raise his kids.
