Hennessy Artistry 2012 Launched in SA

The 2012 version of the Hennessy Artistry  has launched and in true Hennessy style, yet again promises bring fans an unforgettable experience as it blends music, culture and mixability in a national tour. Hosted exclusively by Hennessy Cognac, five South African musicians, who epitomise the ‘Art of Blending’, have been brought together to collaborate with music legend, Caiphus Semenya.

Zakwe, Bucie, AKA and The Arrows will work together with one of South Africa’s foremost musical directors and composers, Caiphus Semenya, to remix one of his hit songs.  Producer, DJ Kent, will lend his expertise to ensure the final composition is an impressive audio experience for fans.

This year, Hennessy will transform Hush in Rosebank into the ultimate stage platform for the prestigious Halo concert on the 31^st of August. Fans will be in for an unforgettable night of blending in action as together for the first time, the collaborating artists will perform the 2012 track.

In build up to the Halo concert, Hennessy Artistry events will be on the bill for major cities around the country, including a first for Pietermaritzburg. The tour will kick off in Port Elizabeth at the beginning of August and make its way around the country, showcasing the brand’s finest signature cocktails and musical talents at each regional event.
