The Idols Top 18

These are the faces that made it to the Idols Top 18 and it’s an exciting season!

Most seem to have concluded that Khaya Mthethwa is winning this thing, I hope they are concluding with their votes too. My favourites are Khaya, Melissa, Shekhina, Obakeng, Simphiwe and Tshidi. I also enjoyed Treasure’s performance so throw him in there too. The truth is that all these kids are good but sadly someone has to go home. I wouldn’t be surprised if none of the 3 white faces up there don’t make it to the Top 10, they are honestly boring and I can’t believe they are the best of the lot that auditioned. Sabotage le.

    My Top Ten, Obakeng, Khaya, Simphiwe, Treasure, Monde, Tshidi, Shikhinah, Meryika, Melissa and Nosipho. I’ve voted for all of them except Khaya, seems everyone was voting for him. Those white contestants how did they make it to top 18 vele? Hayi No, I wasn’t feeling them at all. Goodluck to all of them though.

    Oh i Love that Obakeng soul, His voice is soo good Its like the Mhhhhhhhh sound when done on you Nuts.

    I also like Monde and Tshidi.

    Are there whites in the Top 18? Oops My bad there are.

    Woooo i saw most of the people are #TeamKhaya and shame they dont do not consider the other Talent.

    Well Khaya or No Khaya, All those guys are just good.

    Love Khaya but I haved to admit Simpiwe was the best this week.I can imagine the pressure on Khaya,he wasn’t bad though I just wouldn’t cope.Candy is dissapointing,Maryke can sing but she annoys me I don’t feel her.I like Melissa,Shakinah(sp),treasure,like Randall would say is forgetable.Dominic was terrible this week,thabisa ddnt really do it.Tshidi did well.I’m team Khaya all the way.What a voice

    I love Monde too but he wasn’t that amazing this week but his audition was one of my favourites when he sang All Night Long

    I wonder where my other comments dissapeared to.Anyway I’m rooting for Khaya.Treasure is forgettable as Randall would say,Monde wasn’t that amazing this week.Love Mellissa,Shakinah,Mryke(sp)annoys me I just dnt feel her she can sing though,expected a lot from Candy,Liked Dominic but he was terrible this week.Simpiwe has a lovely voice as well.Tshidi aced that Jennifer Huson song.I’m team Khaya all the way

    Khaya sings beautifully but Simphiwe was on another level saturday!!! Randall’s girlfriend nalezingamla can go home now dankie! What’s with these plus size ladies wearing skimpies on stage and damn they like doing ama get down and open their legs, was feeling sorry for the judges and the audience who had 2 see the mine shafts *bbmcantwatch* Melissa is hot and sings lekka!

    My Top 5 favourites: Simphiwe, Khaya, Obakeng, Thsidi, Shekinah, (also Monde and Dumi). I’d like for Simphiwe to win this one though or at least make it to the Top 3. My votes went to him (Simphiwe) and Monde after the males performance! Happy Monday you’all.

    My Votes went to Simphiwe/Tshidi/Shekihnah/Maryke/Monde/Dominic Thabisa needs to go + she said she cant sing other people’s songs i don’t understand why coz she speaks proper english y cant she sing? Sihle was just ok last night. if you voted for your favorite then they’ll be in the top 10 if you didnt then dont complain if other people make it!

    Hi everybady!! Top ten is defiantly gonna be dominated by black peps. Its abt tym vele. I’m also teamkhaya but I feel so sorry for the poor guy. Da way ppl r puttin so much pressure on him by makin him da winner before even top ten!!! Lupi yena must just take a chill pill haai he is too much!! Da way I laughed wen he twitted he wants Khaya to open 4 Anthony Hamilton. Even tagged Anthony. Like really?? He acts like he is some big shot… #He nids to sit down n sip tea shem!!

    The way Nosipho was dangazaling in that short dress yakhe ay angiyithandanga. Simphiwe was better than Khaya on Saturday #MyOpinion…..

    i voted for Khaya, Shekinah & Simphiwe.

    I was really traumatised by Nosipho’s thighs I couldnt pay attention to how she sang (sad)

    Bwaaa ha haaa on the “mine shaft” comment! Shandu, that is true nana, Simphiwe brought the house down with his performance shem!

    My Top Ten: Khaya, Simphiwe, Dumi (for the popstar look that he has) and Dominic (well there has to be a token white voice and that’s him). Treasure has potential, but still needs to grow, so maka buye next year.

    As for Obakeng, i wonder ojele mang to be ko Top 18, haayi he can go home shem. I kwaaakwaaaed the whole night when i saw a clip of his group auditions, when him, Dumi, Monde and another guy were singing some rnb song, and they did hlokoloza and kept opening and closing their legs…that was too funny to watch, especially yena Obakeng with his long legs. And he always has this weird look when he sings…his facial expressions are just too hilarious, ngathi he just crapped himself and is worried kuthi kuzo ehla and run down his legs… abelungu ngama “aggg my hare is bietjie lastag” must go nabo!

    The ladies that make the rest of my top 10 are: Maryke, Tshidi, Shikanah, Nozipho, Candy and Sihle (for her looks as well). Loliwe/Thabisa can go naye, i also don’t know how she sneaked through to the Top 18.

    This year the competition is on point, and may the best black contestant win!

    Simphiwe shone so much on Saturday….and trully speaking, Khaya wasn’t all that! I still love him though. My top faves are Simphiwe, Obakeng & Candy! I have a soft spot for Candy since seeing her in Dreamgirls.

    LOL Nana…he did sing it well, mara haayi he doesn’t have the popstar voice and look…lol. Ohw mara he made me laugh shem, when they were hlokolozing at group stages.

    Even if Shekinah doesn’t win it manje, her voice is going to develop even more and she’ll be a force to be reckoned with in future. She has a Beautiful tone and good voice control.

    Khaya this,Khaya that,I can’t wait when your Khaya doesn’t win. He peaked too early and the good thing is you won’t blame racism this time around.

    A guy like Simphiwe has a voice,a good story,watch him steal this. Then you have a girl like Maryke,coloureds are known for voting more than us. She can sing and might just steal this.

    How can I forget the only cool white dude,Dominic. Lots of young white kids will be voting for him,watch out.

    Khaya is good but he is not pacing himself well. Every week you going to find yourself saying,he wasn that good but hey,I will still vote for him. He will also be getting under pressure to have a good song like that Micki Minaj song…
