Gordon Igesund is my hero, with his selection he’s shown that merit earns you a spot in the national team not a big name *highfive* Gee. I’m so looking forward to a fresh start of Bafana and trust we as the nation will be patient with the coach and the team this time.

Hai nami I’m confused about Josephs 360 U turn.
Buhlebonga on Fri, 31st Aug 2012 8:16 am
Surprised to not see Andile Jali. And Josephs? I thought he quit? What’s with the 360? not that I’m complaining. Happy about Chabangu and Nomvete.
I think it’s solid squad. Let’s wait until the game to judge how well they play

Very balance squad. I’m happy with the overall squad but with a few exceptions. Doesn’t Kgosi Ntlhe play in the 3rd division of the English Championship. Even if English foorball is better than ours 3RD DIVISION!!! I think Tshepo Masilela who’s played at the highest level would be a better choice. Not sure about Gabuza as our striker, Manqele would’ve been better I think. Not sure about Dino Ndlovu too.
When it comes to midfielders I’m happy. Its about time Mokotjo got a call up to see what he can do.

Well, with the Moneeb saga. Gordon said he spoke to MJ to find out why he “retired” from the squad. Gordon emphasised that he didn’t ask or beg MJ to come back to the squad because according to him there are a lot of goalkeepers who can do the job in S.A and malso let Moneeb know that he’ll have to compete for a place in the squad if he wants to play. MJ sent a letter to SAFA to let them know he’s no longer in “retirement” from the squad.
Katlego Mphela and Morgan Gould are out on long tern injuries that’s why they weren’t considered for the squad.
