Bonang & Euphonik Matter Finally Laid To Bed?

The paper reported this past Sunday that B and her former IronMan Superman met to resolve the matter privately

 

“The parties asked for the case to be postponed by agreement in order to allow their clients enough time to meet and formulate a settlement agreement. Sunday World understands that Matheba, Nkosi and their legal representatives held meetings at an unidentified location in Joburg over the past few days, at which they formulated their settlement agreement.”

Given all the mystery surrounding this incident… this move is not surprising but is it the right thing?  I don’t know.

    First, you opened a case, allowed the police to investigate, phone calls, time, energy, petrol etc was dedicated to your case, Second, you allowed the matter to be set down for hearing, postponed a number of times and suddenly there’s an out of court settlement.     Sisi B or Ms Mathebe, you wasted state resources, all the measured invested to try investigate and finalised your case would have been used somewhere else.

    If settling out of court was the best option for the parties then bayekeni. Going to court can be exhausting and expensive unless if they were shooting a reality show it was gonna make their show famous but unfortunately its their real lives. I say good for them

    If you were familier with the law or kne the Domestic Violence Act you would understand B’s choice. Number 1 Bongang was advised by her lawyer to take this decision, lawyers know better when it comes to legal matters. One thing I know for sure is that Euphonik was not going to go to jail and he was not going to be charged more than R5000.00 IF FOUND GUILTY. Now you want to tell me that you can risk your private life being on the papers every week for some to pay 5 stina??? Because everytime they went to court Euphonik was gonna reveal more ugly things about B. We all have things that we do in private with our loved ones and dont wish they could be known by the world, let be utelize her right to privacy.

    Settling out of court does not mean the applicant automatically gets money. It could include an agreement that the parties never talk about their relationship to anyone specifcally the media for the next 20 years…thats why you have never heard people like Heidi Klum and Seal say anything about their marriage except saying “we remain friends…” If you want peace of mind and still want to grow in your career, you will make a wise choice.

    When B went to SAPS to open a case she did not want the world to know that someone with same names and date of birth as her had an arbotion at a clinic in Rosebank, but thats what resulted. Do you blame her for stopping before its too late???
