Diva’s Inc Turns 1

10th August 2011 an Online Magazine called DivasInc was born. On the 10th of August 2012 we were at Envy Lounge in Sandton, where the
magazine celebrated its 1st birthday.

The founder and Editor Josephine Kanengoni gave us the low down from humble beginnings that made the magazine what it is today. I was touched by her speech. Even though it was full of life it was an emotional one for everyone who is in business or those that would like
to start one. She told us that Mpho Maboi was their first cover girl and they would like to thank her for believing in them. When they contacted her they did not know what to expect but she welcomed them with both arms, which is something very rare in this entertainment
industry. So I also say big up to Mpho for that.

DivasInc has had a lot of famous people on their cover. I remember most, if not all of them very well; Hulisani Ravele, Katlego Danke,
Weza Solange, Dineo Moeketsi, Dineo Ranaka, Minnie Dlamini, Boity Thulo, Khaya Dlanga, LuloCafe & Lunga Shabalala. I loved going through the pics, especially Katlego Danke’s pictures. That set up was out of this world.

Here are the famous faces that I spotted at the party.

Yizo Yizo 1 is back on our screens and we are seeing Charmaine Mtinta back in the day as Nomsa ka Javas. Looking at her then & now?? #Growth

Aldecia Molaudzi was also there.

Rhythm City’s Amo Chidi

Yfm and TransAfrica’s Eda Rose.

Back to iNkaba cast, Kope & Richard also showed face. There is just something about Richard’s accent. When he opens his mouth nje it
screams ” listen to me “

The Dj for the night was Ms Cosmo. Dynamite comes in very small packages.

Another Rhythm Citizen, Nolo Phiri.

And we make another U Turn to iNkaba. I spotted Nompilo Gwaya. I remember from the iNkaba launch she said it was her first acting job.
Those that watch it, how is she doing?

The forever oh-so-debonair, Tango Ncetezo.

Still on the yummy ones: A moment of silent for Thapelo Mokoena. Heheheh I still remember how I pushed Nthati Moshesh to the corner
during our interview until she revealed that her crush was Thapelo. Lol
