Idols Shocker: Tshidi is OUT!

Forget Shekhinah, Tshidi getting kicked out of the Top 4, leaving Melissa (are y’all serious?), Monde and Khaya to fight it out for the final 2 spots, now THAT’S shocking!!

So where did it go wrong? The standard answer, of course, is “people did not vote for her”, which begs the question, “why not?”

Was it because she seemed too confident? That she wasn’t as humble as the rest? Was it because of her comment “Please don’t jump on me!” which she said to pupils at her former school when she went to visit?

Whatever the reason, it is definitely not because her fellow contestants did better than her this week, neither is it because she is less talented. But the bottom line? She is gone and now it’s anyone’s game!

    I seriously think that this was planned from the beginning. They could have edited that part out but they didn’t because that’s how they wanted us to view her. She lost a lot of votes because of that statement and it’s not fair. Especially now that Melissa is the last woman standing (somebody shoot me now)! I’m sad that she left but I didn’t vote though. I never voted since the beginning of the show so I guess I have no right to rant about her exit but I just feel that it was a conspiracy against her.

    I could be wrong about the conspiracy theory but the person who edits the shows must be fired with immediate effect because tonight my sister was nagging my mom for a BlackBerry because Khaya is using one and guess where she saw it…on tonight’s Idols. I thought Idols is sponsored by Samsung?!? Well it seems like they are only promoting Samsung’s rivals because my mom is getting my sister a new BB Bold either 9790 or 9900 tomorrow just because she also likes Khaya (she never has airtime on Sundays and Mondays because of him). Oh how I wish he was holding a Galaxy S3 because I would be getting one tomorrow, sigh! Sorry for the blog within a blog, I just wanted to rant and rave and I love JC so that’s why I did it here. Askies. #TeamMonde but not voting, I just like him.

    Yip, Tshidi HUMILITY you shall learn the hard way my girl! She hadn’t even won just yet but she’s having Diva tendencies, she wasn’t “scared” like she claims, it was almost as though she was DISGUSTED by this young underprivileged youth! Besides her comment, Tshidi was starting to be tooooo predictable, sounding too flat, monotonous. Always on stage thinking she’s Jennifer Hudson or something. I for one am GLAD she’s gone! Vamoose nana, you’re not that special. Monde guys, Monde has stepped it up! People must actually listen to how well Monde sings. And stop being phased by Khaya and Tshidi. So far Khaya’s never been in the bottom. Melissa should go join Jamali on a serious note. Seems men keep voting for her thighs

    Tshidi shem has learnt da hard way about being humbled. People were praising her n it all got to her head. Nami I don’t understand y sum people keep saying it should have been edited. Tshidi shud have known better yena.     @Guys who are doing their Learners License please buy the K53 CD or is it DVD can’t really remember but it comes with the Software installation test, if you try and answer those questions I bet you will pass your learners.

    It has like 6 different papers. Yonke imbuzi ilapho and it helps if you are going to write that computerized paper.

    Tshidi is a diva I’m glad she’s gone. Melissa choses the “right” songs that help bring her presence on stage. Yes her voice is not great but I enjoy her choice of songs. I don’t know that Afrikaans song that Khaya perfomed! If continues with that, he aint getting my vote!

    I was a team Tshidi until two weeks ago when I thought to myself I should play the same game these Idols please are playing. Watch this space people, if we are not too careful Melissa is going to win this. I have been voting for Monde for two weeks now and thats all in the name of sending Melissa home.     I think the competition is between Monde and Melissa. Monde appeals to the much mature and older generation while Melissa’s fan base is mostly teenagers. I don’t know how the producesrs will explain Khaya’s loss coz he is very popular but he does not appeal to their target market.

    I never voted for Thsidi, thought she was always safe.

    Tshidi was supposed to be on Top 2 with Khaya but I think a lot of people were really disgusted by her attitude.
    Those were children, her fans and they were happy to see her but all that she could do was sit in the car and tell them not to jump on her. Who said they would vele?
    Would it have hurt her to actually get out of the car and hug them? Khaya and Monde did that mos!!
    I see that people realised that they can’t make her the next idol because if she walks in the mall and they are excited at seeing her and go and ask for an autograph she will tell them to calm their asses down and not jump on her.

    I was #TeamKhaya and #Team Simphiwe from the day I saw their auditions. And then after the top 18 Khaya relaxed and I became #TeamSimphiwe and #TeamTshidi.. Well, I never voted for Tshidi coz it looked like she was safe at all time, so I voted for Simphiwe till he left. Then last week, in trying to get rid of Melissa, I voted for Monde so many times, he did a stellar job after all, but again I assumed that Tshidi had a lot of support..I was so shocked when she was sent home. Imma continue voting for Monde, #TeamTshidi will join us. I do see my self buying Monde’s CD instead of Khaya’s and Melissa’s.

    I see Khaya as a Gospel Idol as opposed to Pop Idols….he needs to loosen up and a little corruption if he is to make it as a pop idol….I mean just when I thought he was singing house music in DJ Sbu’s song Ingoma, I realised the song talk about praying and saving your soul …I gave up on him!!

    I’ve been saying though, said it a while ago that this years top two ke Khaya and Melissa. Melissa will probably take it and our hopes of having a black idol will remain a dream.

    Can’t they just give us a black winner, just this once? Even if its Monde, as long as the winner is black.

    I stopped voting when my Shekinah was voted out! But maybe they just wanted AR’s and couldn’t care less about our votes, they got a lot of black viewers this year, the least they could do is give the title to Monde or Khaya.

    I think it is important for Madam and Fatham to know the status for caussion (sp), i had a nanny who was positive and didnt tell us, she was always tired and sleepy and reading the Bible all the time. I sent her back home after a month and she got sick and was told after she paased on that she was positive, she had lost her child and husband due to the illness.

    Had i known maybe i could have assisted her by ensuring that she takes he meds.

    no Mathaz, the Madam takes the helper to the DR for tests, and when they come back positive they claim that the helper asked them if they can go back home. not sure what really happened after the results came back wether the =y were fired or resigned..so ths other lady who used to be a helper for ths other couple i know took them to court 2 times 2/3 months back saying they fired her after they took her to the DR for tests and now wants her job back and the case was “thrown out of court”. now she went back to the ccma and said they fired her cos of her hiv status.. and ths person told me gore her cousin also took her helper to the DR and now the helper left… I do not blame the helpers for leaving if they really did leave and were not fired.

    Kamza that’s a difficult situation, not for the maid but for the family involved. I knew a lady who had a helper to look after her kid, the problem with this helper was that she was partially deaf and couldn’t hear the child crying, neighbours had to come up and knock so hard but she couldn’t even hear them.. So the madam took her to the doc to get her ears checked out and they found out that she was positive and some glands in the ear were making her deaf and all… How would you treat such?

    LOL, I remember the lady had to drive back to work to fetch her spare keys cos she’s been knocking for an hour and she didn’t hear her..

    It’s funny how little trust madams have of their nannies, while bona they have not tested for like forever. It boggles my mind why they would say that an HIV+ nanny poses risk to the child while things that pose risk are mostly your appliances like your iron, kettle, utensils and leaving the child unattended especially in a bath or pool.

    The helper would leave coz the madam would start to be so hostile towards me in the bid to get them to leave *voluntarily*. This is exatly what Fanon is saying, the white master is being replace by the black master but the tendencies are the same.

    Yeses, finally! Anyway, I just wanted to say that I’m one of the 6 people that weren’t seemingly offended by Tshidi’s comment. I actually didn’t think too much of it until she apologised and then I realised ukuthi ngathi this is gonna be a big-ish isue, and by yday’s results, turns out it was.
