The Touch Mogodu Drama

This must be one of the funniest stories we’ve read in celebvile. 

Sunday Sun this week ran with a story saying that Tbo Touch was fined $75 for cooking mogodu (tripe) at a New York city apartment this week. Touch says he was shocked by the fine because he had apologised to his neighbours for the smell. Lol I wonder what kinda mogodu he was cooking that got him fined this much.

Touch is in New York on business and hasn’t been doing his Metro FM show, with DJ Sbu standing in for him last week. Touch says he can still do the show from NY but Metro FM asked him to give other people a chance… *sigh*

    Ok what’s mogodi guys?.

    The way I’m feeling lately is beyond stress, don’t know why but I’m not ok and its starting to show. I eat a lot and I’ve gained 5KG overnight ¤eyes rolling¤ don’t know when did I put up this weight. I just hope I’m not going Bonnie Henna neh, le depression and nyols. :-(

    Back to the topic at hand, Mogodu is an african dish right? It smells terrible whilst being prepared for us africans, I can only imagine what the poor americans were experiencing, probably sick to their stomachs. I can picture Touch walking around in his apartment, chopping away and excited for his mogodu in just his boxers. Le yena Touch should’ve went to an African restaurant if he was craving his mogodu that badly.

    errrrrrrrr i love mogodu ne; i live in New York city; and if you drive downtown Brooklyn trust me there is lots of Nigerian restuarants selling Mogodu!

    ok so saturday morning!!! ngavuka ngi bitter kabi.. i think its coz i knew that the snake was arriving..

    i cooked food his fav food (but enough for myself) i washed the pots made sho uguthi the only thing available was the smell of the food.. he arrived n obv could smell that i cooked sumn.. he found me sitting on the couch and greeted me, i just stood up no eye contact or anytin, put the microwave on, and warmed my food.. he came in the kitchen n seemed happy that i cooked for him (if only he knew)! i took my food out of the micro wave took a fork and went to the livn room n started eating. so he noticed sumn was wrong

My friends are getting married and falling pregnant, but that does not bother me because I am not really ready for marriage and kids but all I want is a man that will love me like I love him, no complications. It’s hard finding a man nowadays. I am cultured ( norms and values) and I just don’t date any guy, especially ba di swagger or guys with many kids by different woman, so you could say I am a bit picky. In the meantime I have been enjoying myself, travelling, studying further, basically having fun and working hard. I recently met a guy who is interested in me, he seems like a nice guy and makes me feel great, romantic, caring and loving but he is a cop (police) … don’t get me wrong guys, I am not a gold digger or something, but do you think this relationship can work out?     talking of investments, i met this guy, shem i liked him a bit i totally forgot that he once did me wrong. So i drove to his nearby mall and the moment he got there he told me he has very upset cos he forgot his ATM pin, i knew there and there that trouble but did not take to heart, brother man then decided we should go see a movie, i had to drive another 35km for the cinema, we get there he looks me in the eyes, i knew he means pay, so i avoided embarrassment and paid, after paying he says “eish if only i could remember my card, i would buy MYSELF a drink i’m so thirsty” i laughed a bit and went to PnP and bought him coke, when it was time for the movie, wathi “are you not buying popcorns” i was fed up manje i just told him i don’t eat popcorns, we saw the movie, afterwards i had to drive him home and drive further 50km to my place, i was so pissed yaz, i vowed never to see him again, whilst with him i asked about his business cos i thought maybe i can invest here since i liked what he was doing, tjo umuntu told me about things, i said bhuti i want to know the things, he said its private tjo! i told him, shem i wanted to know if i can hook u up with finances somewhere but it seems your business is too private so thank u,,

    @kamza u eating more than u need (excess kilojoules), all the food will be stored in ur body piling up unless u exercise hard. so if u eat more u must exercise more, bt u dnt really need all that food(tennis biscuits n iscuits u bake,) to think you still gonna have dinner! according to some research a human body only need to eat once in 3 days, bt water daily is very essential. there is a 3yr diet to arrive at the 1meal/3day formula, frm there u only eat once in 3 days, all ths food our body doesnt relly need it. I stopped packing dinner as lunch for the following day, i have 4 fruits throughout the day n dinner as normal.

    @Bongi take it easy, u prob wont fall again, first week u only walk, get used to walking then jog, briefly increase the pace, then when u r used to using the treadmill, use the diff. programmes installed in the treadmill, like fatburn, cardio, strength,etc depending on ur needs. these programmes adjust the speed for u, wena u just select the programme u want, n it will make u walk, run, jog increasing/decreasing the speed at intervals, wena u just follow its instructions, its actually fun.

    Well ladies the beyonce diet works I have been doing it on and off since I had a baby, I went from weight 103 to 70killos in 4 months and I don’t do it for long, I have done it for a maximum of 3 days at a time, and mostly I would lose between 3 to 4 killos..and u don’t gain the weight back at all, well I do gym twice a week….I don’t think I can ever last for more than 4 days on it.

    This 13 day diet isn’t bad. Mara my biggest problem is that I won’t be snacking on fruits, I eat at least 4 a day and that is how I manage to not need to eat dinner.

    DAY 1:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar
    Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs + 400 g spinach + 1 tomato
    Dinner: 200 g roast beef + 1 lettuce with oil and lemon juice

    DAY 2:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar
    Lunch: 250 g ham + 1 can of natural yogurt
    Dinner: 200 g roast beef + 1 lettuce with oil and lemon juice

    DAY 3:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar + 1 slice of toast
    Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs + 1 slice of ham + 1 lettuce
    Dinner: boiled celery + 1 tomato+ 1 fresh fruit (apple, pear, orange)

    DAY 4:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar + 1 slice of toast
    Lunch: 200 ml orange juice + 1 can of natural yogurt
    Dinner: 1 hard-boiled egg + 1 rubbed out carrot + 250 g cow cheese

    DAY 5:
    Breakfast: 1 big rubbed out carrot
    Lunch: 200 g steamed code with lemon juice + 1 spoon with butter
    Dinner: 200 g roast beef + 1 rubbed out celery

    DAY 6:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar + 1 slice of toast
    Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs + 1 big rubbed out carrot
    Dinner: 1/2 chicken + 1 lettuce with oil and lemon juice

    DAY 7:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of unsweetened tea
    Lunch: nothing (drink lot of water, it helps!)
    Dinner: 200 g lamb steak + 1 apple

    DAY 8:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar
    Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs + 400 g spinach + 1 tomato
    Dinner: 200 g roast beef + 1 lettuce with oil and lemon juice

    DAY 9:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar
    Lunch: 250 g ham + 1 can of natural yogurt
    Dinner: 250 g roast beef + 1 salad with oil and lemon juice

    DAY 10:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar + 1 slice of toast
    Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs+ 1 slice of ham + 1 lettuce
    Dinner: 1 boiled celery + 1 tomato + 1 fresh fruit (apple, pear, orange)

    DAY 11:
    Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar + 1 slice of toast
    Lunch: 200 ml orange juice + 1 can of natural yogurt
    Dinner: 1 hard-boiled egg + 1 rubbed out carrot+ 250 g cow cheese

    DAY 12:
    Breakfast: 1 big carrot
    Lunch: 200 g steamed code with lemon juice + 1 spoon with butter
    Dinner: 250 g roast beef + 1 rubbed out celery

    DAY 13:
    Breakfast: cup of coffee + 1 cube of sugar + 1 slice of toast
    Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs+ 1 big rubbed out carrot
    Dinner: 250 g chicken + 1 lettuce with oil and lemon juice

    Snapshot you remind me of this guy I met in Pta East. We met at Woolies and he said he also stays around. I took the numbers and refused to give him mine. I called after 3 weeks, he was so excited. He called the following day but we were cut short by something that happened on his side. The other day he says “You know I was involved in a car accident and the car I was driving that day is finished…but I was not hurt. Now I am without transport stuck at my mom’s place in Mamelodi.” I believed him. The other day I am Woolies with a friend and I called him thinking he is around, he says yes I am around and I say meet me at Woolies, he changes no “phela I am in Mams bla bla…” FF I go to Mams, heeee he stays kwi backroom,tjo!He told me that the tow people took his stuff including wallet so he cant buy me something to drink.Within 10 minutes ngifikile his friends were there. I was so scared, my car was parked emgwaqeni, I thought ngizophuma ingasekho. I never went there again,I politely requested him never to call me again

    Hayi mna i get tired of telling people quick fix diets don’t work. I lost 20 kilos baby fat over two years n im now happy with ma weight n have kept it off cause i did it via healthy eating n small portions. Bengidlela kwi side plate manje my tummy can’t take more than that cause it’s used to side plate portion. U start with ur groceries n go for healthy option n live a healthy lifstyle. This way u are able to keep the weight off cause u get used to eating healthy n ur small portions. Andazi noba ingxaki yenu kunyoluka na,nifuna udla yonke into kodwa nifuna noba slender, akwenzeki shem. Nice thing abt it is when u want to indulge on junk u do cause it’s not an everyday thing. I still have my chocolate,ice cream,cake when i want to. Im now dealing with mkhaba with that painful vili n wanna start excercise,thinkin of getting Zumba or joining a dance class cz i hate gym it feels like school n i hate school.

    @bumbum, I do not watch All you need is love now but i did back then and it really made very little sense to me as to why people would want to be seen by the whole country that they are in love/they messed up and are sorry/that they are getting back together…….ay maybe there’s something wrong with us.
