Things That Make Me Go TJO!

October 21, 2012 by

You know, a lot has been said and debated about Jub Jub… and honestly, if his fans are wondering why everyone else can’t see things from their point view, it’s simple: Jub Jub’s arrogance.

His arrogance and the fact that he honestly believes he is the victim in all of this, and not the 4 dead kids.

Back to what made me go TJO: The interview he did with Move Magazine where he says (or at least that’s what they say he said) “Jail or not, I’m innocent.”

and this explains why he says what he says in his new song… If he had gone to court and said, I’m sorry about what happened, I didn’t mean for it, it was an accident etc instead of arguing about how it was not his car that hit the kids or whatever it is he tried to argue, there’d be different debates now. I feel for him… and my heart dropped when the judgment was announced but his utterances make it harder to fully be on his side.

As for his words about Kelly in the media… I’m really surprised at everyone who’s complaining about him badmouthing Kelly Khumalo. We’ve been hearing Kelly’s side of the story for a year now… Jub Jub kept quiet so whether or not we agree with what he did to Kelly, we still have to allow him the opportunity to defend himself, if he wants to.

Through it all…  we should just remember nje that these two aren’t the most honest people out there. Jub Jub says he and Kelly broke up in June 2011, in an extract in Move from her book, Kelly talks about an incident that happened in October 2011, while they were still together.

Remember when during Kelly’s pregnancy, Jub Jub went on national tv to say he’s never had unprotected sex in his life? Remember THIS?

Even in this Move interview, he still denies ever having taken drugs… *rolling my eyes*

Jub Jub’s arrogance or ka setswana “nkane” ya ga ge is his downfall. O nkane ngwana o, I’m not judging, because le nna ke na le nkane nyana, (I’m working on it). I’ve seen in my own life how being nkane (stubborn) can be a stumbling block. In life you have to humble yourself, learnt this from the Bible, and it works. Jubs needs to humble himself, especially with all the gospel tracks he releases. No one is going to take the good messages in his music seriously without humility. Ask God for humility Jubs.

Sadly I was one of the people that felt sorry for jub jub. And ai it seems like my sympathy has been misdirected all this time. Clearly this guy needs nothing less than 100 years in prison to do some self introspection. Such arrogance should be illegal yhu. they should actually add one more charge for being obnoxious futhi!

Even that song of his is all about him….no mention of the lives he took and those he brain damaged, even if it was just a one line nyana….niks! The whole song is all about him

  26. Zabe on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 9:50 am

And to think that i actually felt sorry for him, mxm. He must just get sentenced, cut his hair and stock up on vaseline so he can shut up n leave us alone, sizwile ngalo jubjub no kelly wacke. As for 30thou damages, thats too steep, when a friend of mine got pregars at 17, bf was charged 3thousand rand so mamakakelly is taking chances.

    @Raquel..R30 000.00 damages + lobola….no ways

  30. Sweet soul on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 10:05 am

LOL@ 30 000 for damages, maybe I’m too old fashion but if people pay that much for damages now dayz, then how much do they pay for lobola?

  31. BlindFold on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 10:09 am

    @Sweet soul..R60 000.00 for Lobola

  32. Raquel on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 10:16 am

Lol, @Blindfold akere it depends on how educated the lady is, is she a virgin, what type of job she does, the kind of person she is,her reputation, the home she comes from (is it a home or just a house) etc…I thought that’s what they take into consideration when negotiating Lobola. Either way 30K is too much for damages only??? way too much. Haaai khona.

  35. Mathaz on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 11:01 am

I understand there is a documentary about his life post the accident and during the trial. No channel has snapped it as yet mara ke i feel sorry for him, just as much as i feel sorry for the families of those boys.

We are where we are coz of the decisions and choices we made and still make. The devil is a liar people.

Oh and ja….in prison if you have money, you are guaranteed all the protection so he might not be sodomised.

  36. Hunt on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 11:04 am

Jub Jub is mentally disturbed. I don’t think it’s arrogance.

As for damages…lolington kwaaa mentioned a very good point when people were talking about lobola and paying damages on some post that we were talking about lobola… real MEN don’t go around discussing such.

These things differ from family to family. Some demand a portion of lobola when you’re paying damages. So this voet-voet of saying someone is educated or not is not relevant. Family values cannot be changed by an outsider. Until you know everything about negotiations and reasoning behind the price, STOP. Stop saying it’s too much or it’s too less. Abeg.

  37. Azande on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 11:05 am

Damages fron 10k to 15k not more dan dat it can be between that

  38. Soccerbabe on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 11:17 am

Wow @ Azande but why so much when a guy is still expected to pay maintanance? Sex was between adults who knew the consequences just because a guy wants to do the right thing and be a father to his child sekumele bamrobhe kanje? this is daylight robbery

  39. Azande on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 11:26 am

@soccer angazi nami but kunjalo nje angithi he pay for inkomo kamamah of which ama price enkomo arange ko8k vele, dan enye inkomo angazi eyani dan imbuzi yeZintombi, dan vele if eselobola dan ziya cut(wa) down angithi , dats what I know inZUlu culture thou

  40. bumbum on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 11:43 am

Bomithisa umZulu uzobona kuthi ama damages ahamba kanjani. Inkomo ka mama ne nkomo yenduna or what it depends then imbuzi. So that’s almost 30K mos. Jah times we live in.

  41. Soccerbabe on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 12:09 pm

    Tjooo isiko kudlaliwe ngabantu shame!

  42. nomthwalo on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 12:16 pm

So Jubjub is actually saying if you educated more than Kelly its okey for your parents to charge R30000 for damages *interesting*
You’d swear that when it comes to making babies you need a certificate and not your legs opened.

  43. nomthwalo on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 12:17 pm

When it comes to damages and lobola people have changed but then again it was always a problem cause most men don’t look at women as human being but something to be sold and this will always be a problem.

If you not educated they say this, you are very well educated they should charge more.
Truth be told even our forefathers had a say cause they wouldn’t like it if their daughters married a guy who’s family doesn’t have a kraal

I guess they will always be an excuse for someone to pay more/less and the family receiving the damages will try get more or accept what the groom’s family is offering.

  44. Eyh2Jee on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 12:38 pm

@Soccerbabes: paying Lobola is always about what the parents think the man can afford. They just look at the kind of job he has and ask those ridiculous amounts of money and just use those silly excuses (virginity) to support their arguments. Nxah!
My friend was pissed-off; his girlfriend’s mother charged him a lot of money for damages and he was like “I ain’t paying that shit” …I was like…boet,if you want a relationship with your child and your woman, you better find a good negotiator. The worst part is that the whole issue does affect his relationship with the girlfriend. *things our parents do for money*
Lol at Thembalethu {We see you} *hides*

  45. Azande on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 12:41 pm

  46. Pixie on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 12:43 pm

Moral of this story nje is don’t do drugs, you’ll end up delusional and backing up lies with another bunch of lies…At this rate,Molemo is going to have a mental illness, such denial can’t be healthy. He sounds as if he really believes the lies he’s saying. Could this be a plot for him to mess up his mind and cry mental instability come the sentencing date?

  86. Occupation on Mon, 22nd Oct 2012 10:16 pm

I read the latest Marie Claire le enabo Pabi,Tamara, Poppie and all the women of SA. Any who…one article is about whether being rich clouds the way you perceive reakity. Kuthiwa in most cases, rich people are more selfish and less compassionate to others especially those who have less cash moolah baby. They made an eg of how Granny Madge (Madonna) was presented flowers by a fan and she harped on about how she hates those types of flowers. How selfish to think that instead of gratitude? Another eg was Khanyi Mbau and her “I can’t care about poor folk, il eat my croissant and blue cheese”. So in closing…Jubs is being himself here….just your typical poor little rich boy who sees nothing but himself in every situation. I think he should be on trial not for murder though. Umthetho should prevail and consider that it was not his Cooper that killed those kids (bless their souls bandla)

@Occupation, the only rich/wealthy person you mentioned here is Madonna, you’re not making sense
