We’re Driven By Peugeot!

Yes, and I’m super excited about it!

Okay, maybe not the whole of Just Curious, I am but wouldn’t be driving around in that beauty, if it weren’t for JC so yes, we are!

I am in partnership with Peugeot for the launch of their brand new Peugeot 208, which is available from this month, October. The launch was held in Joburg at Soccer City a few weeks ago, and there was another launch held in Cape Town last week. We will be doing a few exciting things, which I will share with you in due course, and with them being the official Orlando Pirates sponsor, I’m hoping we will do some stuff with our OP fans.

I’ve had the car for exactly a week now and I am really impressed with the features and how stylish it looks. The first thing I noticed when I got it was that there is no CD player and that frustrated me for about a minute but as soon as I realised that it means I could have my songs on USB & have as many as I like, no changing of CDs (yes, I was still doing that), it’s actually quite cool. I even have a Chris Brown Only folder lol. (I’m preparing for the concert)

I love the extensive integration of digital technology, the touchscreen feature is my fave… switching between radio/music & even viewing pictures is a breeze. I can connect my phone via bluetooth for calls, and even scroll my phone’s contacts on the screen.. shem, I really like the car and that’s a no PR speak.

Lemme tell you a bit about the vehicle.

The sporty 208 competes in the B2 segment and some of its direct competitors are the Polo, Yaris, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Citroen C3 and Mazda 2. I usually drive a BMW so for a car that doesn’t even compete in that segment, the 208 sure holds its own because the only obvious differences to me are the leather seats and the reverse beeping.. (and of course the PRICE)!

JC is special this has become more than a gossip site. it’s one big family. Continue to shine & treating people respectfully. Hmmmmm, this car is actually beautiful and reasonably priced huh. Although it is slow-nyana(1.4l engine with 60kw power is lazy) and will make you change down to gear 3 on an uphill, it is still a beau more than the other Peugeots-the shape.

About the car: I didn’t check it Yet, I drive a peugeot so I was invited to come test drive I just ignored them. By the way mine has a cd player lol.

I’m was so disappointed with BMW for not having a USB port, there I was with my usb then booom moto ayina port. I thought all new cars have this accessory now.
